BEFORE: The Romanian Invasion keeps on rolling lately so it's perhaps not a big surprise that Alexandra Stan wants to take an elite short cut by booking a high-profile fight against former champion Dorota Rabczewska in only her second BBU-sanctioned contest.  The Romanian singer knocked out Gabriella Cilmi last month but Doda is a massive upgrade in competition and even BBU TV's Denise van Outen questions Alexandra's decision.

Dorota shares those doubts and claims she's "gonna finish Alexandra's career before it even begins" however it's Stan who plays some mind games during the introductions as she refuses to touch gloves with the former champ and bumps into her jugs which prompts a hectic reaction from the referee. Coach Mel B. warns Doda not to underestimate the inexperienced opponent but the Polish blonde responds in snarky fashion: "I got this witch covered! She's like a poor man's Vera Brezhneva and I kicked her ass before so I've got nothing to be afraid off tonight!"

Alexandra Stan wears a navy blue crop top, yellow hotpants & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a braid. Doda wears a red bikini top, white panties & matching white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Doda comes crashing down into Alex's face and tries to split the Romanian guard ASAP however the younger blonde spins away from the intended close range pursuit and keeps the former champion in mid-range which allows her to stretch her elbows and frustrate the Polish singer. Doda pushes ahead with several crips shots but misses her range by an inch or two which prevents her from scoring instant damage as Stan shows impressive footwork to make the older blonde look rather desperate down the stretch. Doda barks in anger as she's unable to set the tone in this fight and eats a double hooking response over the top instead before Alexandra whacks her across the boobs and bursts into giggles once she n otices how upset Rabczewska is during this back & forth struggle.

Round 2:
Dorota keeps blasting her jabs on target but lacks the proper combo to really wobble Alex off her stance; the Romanian response in cruel fashion over the top again and sticks better punches as she outworks the former champion in a high-tempo exchange before another wicked hook nails Rabczewska on the rack and makes her gurgle in disdain. She launches a verbal tirade but bounces off the Romanian guard and gets clinched into safety along the ropes where she manages to stick a meaningful harpoon drive but Stan tackles her with a belly button attack and cripples into a lenghty clinching stalemate thereafter. Doda almost head-butts Alex as she tries to break free but only finds separation when she gets whacked on the chin with a quick uppercut and gets beaten for another overhand right at the bell with Alexandra in firm control of her counter-punching ideas.

Round 3:
Alexandra's underground boxing forays down in Ibiza have probably escaped the Lioness coaching staff given the counter-punching issues she hands the Polish favorite but Dorota simply can't stay off the aggressive drive and keeps swinging right at the Romanian woman in order to finally nail her with that wicked haymaker. Plenty of effort on display here but Stan just dances around them and almost stuns the former champ with a lethal hooking double alas Rabczewska clatters into her jugs in a desperate heave herself and traps her onto the turnbuckle where she brutalizes her exposed midsection. Doda escapes the looming clinch and leaves Alex vulnerable downstairs; the younger blonde has to bail out behind a tight earmuff but she remains under the Polish jabbing fire for remainder of the round.

Rounds 4 & 5:
Things are getting more hectic as Doda switches her efforts to punish the fellow blonde's midsection which leads into a wrestling carnage down the stretch with both women lacking a proper big punch in the process. Alexandra keeps riding the counter-punching wave but she gets bumped onto the ropes too often to fully stretch her elbows while Rabczewska cashes in with simple ribcage pounding while removing the Romanian's mobility threat. Another not-so-accidental headbutt makes Alex wince in pain but she gets swiftly put into her place when Dorota slams a hooking double and forges ahead with an uppercut rally on the boobs. Alexandra ends the fourth round looking somewhat subdued and backpedals for most of the fifth as Doda tries to chase her down before more wrestling and shoving descends this fight into a jeering reaction from the Cardiff audience. Doda even tries to lock a guillotine choke on her opponent as Stan appears to be slowing down wholesale which allows the Polish singer to blast her up the middle come the final minute and this is more like it from the ex-champ who finally inflicts some swollen reality on Alexandra's lips.

Round 6:
This is heavy lifting for Dorota who must dig deep to really wear the Romanian down, she tries to slam a quick hook into her liver area but Alex bails out into mid-range and responds from the back foot as both women suddenly trade vicious head-shots before a left hook tears a small gash under Rabczewska's eye. Ugh! Doda slumps forward with a quiet whimper and before she can resume her punching action, she gets NAILED with a vicious uppercut on the jaw as Stan jumps into a furious response upon the initial wound she has inflicted on the older singer. Uh-oh!!! Doda hasn't embraced such a vicious uppercut for a while and staggers onto her heels; she tries to deke to the side but Alex covers the real estate in supreme fashion and clocks her with another thumping hook on the jaw!!! DODA'S KNEES GO JELLY and she slides down in jack-knife fashion at the Romanian's feet to really raise some volume inside the building!!! The Lioness entourage is stuneed by this knockdown and Doda sells it very hard indeed, she's on all fours for majority of the count before she finally gets up at eight but Alexandra squares up to her right after the command and BLOWS into her face with one vicious stinger after another! Dorota can't even catch her breath here as she gets pounded into the corner where she gets picked off by the Romanian Invasion hype train and this is a thundering statement from the 30-year old who shuts down the Polish woman wholesale and renders her numb following a series of head shots. Uh-oh!!! Doda bellows out onto the ropes with eyes closed and her arms slide by her waist which enables Stan to punish the massive cleavage just for the extra pleasure but HERE COMES THE REF to stop the beating with barely ten seconds left on the clock. TKO6 Alexandra Stan!!!

AFTER: Talk about making a case for Upset of the Night bonus! Some experts predicted Alexandra can go places in BBU despite a late arrival but hardly anyone saw her pummelling an elite fighter like Rabczewska in such impressive fashion! Denise van Outen claims nobody made such a big entrace into the 120 lbs division since Fleur East allthough Alex appears to be stunned by the manner she claimed Doda's scalp tonight. She struts back to her corner where she's joined by stable manager Corina Caragea and both women patiently await the official verdict. "Guess this stupid witch won't call ME a stupid witch anymore?", Alex affords herself a quick joke as she observes Mel B's efforts to revive Rabczewska from the spot of bother. Ugh! The former champion is just too dizzy to keep her balance and slumps onto her stool where she buries her face in the gloves and shakes her head in utmost disbelief. What on Earth just happened here? And where are the Ibiza beach boxing tapes that showed Alexandra's potential upside? Mel B. admits she screwed up but even she is left speechless since Dorota's aggressive tactics have usually folded all the opposition not named Una Healy sooner or later yet it just didn't work against this Romanian cookie tonight!
