BEFORE: Alesha Dixon stopped arch-enemy Jessica Schwarz last month and announced her intentions to join the lightweight division, a decision that has turned some heads around the league. However here she is - ready for another Lioness Club test with Irish TV presenter Christine Bleakley throwing a welcome party of sorts. This being said Bleakley vows to quickly send Dixon back to bantams and there's every chance Alesha is truly punching above her pay grade these days. But she's a living BBU icon so nobody's gonna tell her she's doing the wrong thing - even Beevers' coach Denise Lewis tells Denise van Outen to buckle up for some fireworks!

Alesha Dixon wears a pink sports bra, matching hotpants & yellow gloves. Long black hair tied in a braid. Christine Bleakley wears a green sports bra, white hotpants & black gloves. Long raven-black hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Let's see if Alesha can take that lightweight punch! She can... sort of... as Christine still outworks her in close range and targets her rack for some reason. However Alesha swings over the top and nails the Irish lass on the mouth to halt the early charge before two vets settle down for a punch-happy slugfest. Christine is keen to glue her mitts into the singer's face and she rattles her with a nifty combo on each temple before a brutal left hook on the nose spins the older woman to the side. Alesha dekes out of trouble at the last second but has Bleakley chasing her around thereafter and the Irish woman still lands meaningful leather when she traps Dixon on the ropes late in the going.

Round 2:
More jabbing assault picks Alesha off early in the second but she hangs on in the slugging exchange as Bleakley's head-hunting attack becomes a little too predictable. Nonetherless the Irish brunette maintains control of the fight and hoofs Alesha's high guard aside before blasting her on the lips. Ugh! Alesha scowls in discomfort but she simply can't stop the presenter's jabbing assault and seeks respite in mid-distance which only fuels Christine's charge. She traps the reeling singer on the ropes again and duly cleans out her midsection to finally show some change in her punching strategy.

Round 3:
Alesha gets worked over in close range and leaks too many punches to even look competitive at this stage, Bleakley keeps her focus and packs one nasty hit after another which inflicts visible swelling around the singer's lips come the one minute mark. But Christine wants more and she loops a left hook on the ear that wobbles Dixon on her heels. Another right hand clips the chin and Alesha trips back onto the ropes where she gets whacked across the boobs and wilts under more jabbing pressure. Christine gets vocal and punishes the ailing foe on speed dial so much that Alesha simply can't embrace the heat anymore and TAKES A KNEE just to gather her thoughts. Huh! Yeah, this lightweight thing ain't that simple! She gets up at seven while Bleakley is ready to blow her away and attacks with pure jabbing wrath to keep the subdued singer glued to the ropes for remainder of the round.

Round 4:
Christine rolls out more jabbing beef but Alesha picks her off over the top and looks impressive enough in her counter-punching skills to frustrate Lioness coach Mel B. who has to urge Bleakley into a more accurate attacks. The shear work load alone doesn't overhwelm Dixon anymore as she slices the presenter's lips with a cross hooking charge and belts her in the guts to finally drop some heat on the hitherto dominant brunette. Alesha barks in her efforts and punches herself out of the hole to drive Bleakley onto the turnbuckle instead where she punishes her exposed midriff before landing a wild uppercut on the jaw that sinks Christine on visibly soft knees right at the bell.

Round 5:
Christine blasts out of the gate to resume the jabbing assault but Alesha neutralizes her with more body shots instead before piercing the cleavage again and sinking the Irish woman into some loud spasms again. Bleakley struggles to embrace that JMD-like heat and drills her left hand off Dixon's hip before the singer whacks her with an uppercut drive that snaps the head back and sends the younger brunette reeling on the spot. Christine bellows out on the ropes and just can't deke away fast enough as Alesha rifles a right hand on the nose TO PUT THE IRISH WOMAN DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!! Big punch that from Dixon who yells out in delight as a visibly stunned Bleakley gets up at eight but remains frozen in the area and eats more head shots shortly afterwards. Alesha hauls in three... make that four hooks on the nose and cripples her rival into spasms... Christine can't even clinch the singer anymore and gets pounded into a standstill covering her face in a futile earmuff. AND THE REF STEPS IN to stop the contest!!! How about that! Mel B. hates the call but it's TKO5 Alesha Dixon!!!

AFTER: Hey, if you're a living BBU legend you can count on some favorable decisions from the ref but the Lioness Club is furious the fight was stopped despite Christine looking more than okay to continue. Whatever! Alesha's lightweight debut earns her a big W and she's mocking her critics on social media like five minutes after leaving the ring! Apparently she wants a piece of Jenny Frost or Indira Weis next! Watch this space!
