We've been trading punches back in the 90s on the European circuit and it's time we stamped out rivalry with an official score! I know she whacked poor Maria last time but I'm the real benchmark! I hope she's ready for some hot Italian sauce cause I'm gonna pour it all over her tonight!" (laughs).

Round 1:
Monica releases all that Mediterranean temper and then some! She pulverizes the lanky blonde straight away and sets her target downstairs thumping vicious harpoons into Claudia's midsection which clearly catches the German off guard. Footwork is never an easy thing when you're 5'11" and Claudia just can't escape the heat fast enough which allows the Italian to really carve some bruises before Schiffer finally clinches her into safety. However the damage has been done already and Claudia backpedals in a hurry when the ref enforces the separation. Monica is no speed demon at this stage of her career and struggles to connect with her punches in mid-distance but the fear factor does the trick and leaves Schiffer looking spooked out there and staying well clear of the brunette's range for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
These cougar fights usually end early as those women on the wrong side of 40 usually struggle with fatigue. Monica wants to blast Claudia out of the ring ASAP and channel her Italian wrath to the extreme in the opening minute. She digs more body shots on target but gets caught by a vicious overhand swing as Schiffer finally steps up with her jabbing game. She loops more clean shots on target and Monica just can't react fast enough which glues her to the spot once the blonde's superior range comes to the fore. Claudia whacks the brunette straight up the middle and keeps the jabbing lanes wide open before a crunching hook nails the reeling Bellucci on the nose and wobbles her into loud spasms. Ugh! Another big hook on the nose sends the older woman spinning onto the ropes and she escapes a proper follow up at the last second. Huh! One more combo and Monica could well have been dropped for the count given her dwindling resistance here!

Round 3:
Monica tries to drive more leather up the blonde's gut but she basically walks into a wicked left/right combo and slumps on jelly knees when Schiffer adds a nasty wrencher on the left temple. Huh! Monica rolls down the curtains and suddenly gets lost at sea as Claudia SMOKES her with a left hook on the jaw that sends the gumshield flying out!!! DOWN GOES THE ITALIAN STUNNER!!! More bad defense than anything but that's the handicap on the wrong side of fifty! Monica gets spun down on her side and looks badly affected by the German's clean punching.... she tries to get up but can't beat the vertigo factor and slumps down on her backside as the merciless count passes her by! KO3 Claudia Schiffer!!!

AFTER: Claudia 2 Italy 0! It's as simple as that and Monica couldn't do anything about Claudia's striking power once those punches started to land on target! Will the Global Boxing Syndicate send Elizabeth Hurley to avenge this loss? It's more than probable but Claudia also eyes a true Alpha clash of the 90s in Elle MacPherson whom she battled numerous times during Helmut Kohl's heyday! That match-up would still turn heads in 2020!
