Jessica Chastain vs Minka Kelly

BEFORE: Both these vets serve as the second choice on their stable's bantamweight corps, Jessica Chastain has accepted Bella Thorne as the true Dollhouse 120 lbs queen while Minka Kelly is focused on her Hall of Fame quest rather than Nina Dobrev being the designated LCA supreme. However this is a very intriguining match-up between two wiley cougars who promise to deliver proper fireworks.

Jessica overcame the ever-slippery Jenny Mac test last month while Minka looks to double down on the Dollhouse crew having dispatched Katheryn Winnick back in March already.

Jessica Chastain wears a red crop top, matching knee-high leggins & black gloves. Long reddish auburn hair wrapped in a bun at the back of her head. Minka Kelly wears a leopard print bikini top, black hotpants & golden gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a high ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Jessica gets in the groove fast and dominates the opening round through shear high-tempo execution alone. Minka's been guilty of some slow starts in the past and she refuses to answer the slugging drill which earns her a couple of nasty whacks straight up the middle but she keeps the redhead at bay thereafter. However this defensive stance only lasts for a brief period as Jessica knocks more leather into the brunette's face and almost forces her to apply more aggressive response. Minka fires back with a promising jab but gets gradually outorked along the ropes as Chastain plugs her mitts into the exposed midsection that drops Kelly behind a desperate earmuff in the closing stages.

Round 2:
Minka's southpaw response neutralizes Jessica's early charge but the Dollhouse redhead still dominates the acton by pure numbers even though she struggles to slice through the brunette's guard anymore. She bounces off Kelly's forearms and looks sluggish in her predictable attacks which allows Minka to drive in low and score easy response instead. Jessica remains glued to the head-hunting plan but loses her precision and gets thumped below the elbows too often to maintain control of the action as Minka gets more punch-happy and drops one cruel blow after another to punish Chastain's ribcage and probably even the score given how Jessica examines the bruises during the interval.

Round 3:
Jessica's slugging drill enables her to shut Kelly down early in the third but she lacks proper juice to really punish the LCA brunette. Minka yields real estate and settles in a counter-punching response; she owns the slightly better footwork as well and makes Chastain looks more than desperate down the stretch. Jessica runs the jabbing drive from the front but gets clinched often enough in the proccess which prevents her from enforcing her close range presence. Minka fires back with pesky shots in the ribs and shakes the redhead off numerous times to hold her own.

Round 4:
More of the same in the fourth; Jessica plugs the jabbing heat only to get clinched and blasted in the gut whenever Minka feels ready to disturb the Dollhouse rhythm. Ugly showing in the phone booth frustrates Carmen Electra in the redhead's corner but Jessica can't shake the brunette off and gets drained out of her slugging skills thereafter as the fight descends into pure mind over matter battle of strenght along the ropes. Minka's midriff harpoons allow her to control the redhead who loses more performance value with some wayward swings upstairs that barely catch Kelly's flesh.

Round 5:
Jessica keeps coming after the brunette but gets pancaked with a right/left swing and eats Minka's biggest punch of the night that whacks her on the nose and wobbles to the side. Ugh! Minka hauls in more wild hooks as she finds the hole in redhead's high guard; she drives the Dollhouse vixen onto the ropes as Chastain struggles to swing from the back foot and wilts under the brunette's jabbing heat. Minka barks in her efforts and plugs more easy shots in the ribcage sinking the redhead into loud spasms in the process. All Minka in the final minute as she blows into Jessica's gut and keeps her shut down behind a desperate earmuff that even makes Carmen Electra cringe in the Dollhouse corner: "Punch back for f#### sake! Argh!!!". However Jessica soaks up too many shots downstairs to barely catch her breath and gets punked on the right ear right at the bell which sends her walking back to her corner on some soft legs alright.

Round 6:
Minka cranks up the jabbing volume but plugs more harpoons downstairs again to force Jessica into a desperate low coverage. The switch upstairs beats the redhead's reaction time though and breaks her resilience following a nifty one-two uppercut shot on the chin. Ugh! Jessica slumps on soft knees and can't recover for a brutal left hook that smokes her on the mouth and SENDS CRASHING DOWN ON HER SIDE moments later! Minka stares down the fallen redhead before turning back to coach Eva Mendes while Jessica battles bravely to avoid the looming disaster. She grabs the ropes and somehow makes it back upright at seven but still looks a bit shaky here. However she's given the go ahead sign and we're back underway... Minka blitzes her from the southpaw blast though and piles vicious leather into her mouth while the guard simply collapses on the spot... Jessica gets pounded right back where she came from and Kelly goes for the kill! Forget the body assault, it's all bouncing off Chastain's face who crumbles underneath the barrage and scowls out in pain which sends the ref to the rescue!!! HE PULLS MINKA AWAY AND HALTS THE BEATING!!! Jessica still bellows out onto the ropes with eyes closed but it's TKO6 Minka Kelly!!!

AFTER: "Bwoah! I can't believe how Minka gets away with this counter-punching BS every frickin' time!", Carmen Electra isn't best pleased about another Kelly stumble but the fact remains the Lioness southpaw has now beaten both of Bella Thorne's understudies this year. Kate Beckinsale's Hall of Fame quest gets more media attention these days but Minka has set her goal even in the shadows of Nina Dobrev and sticks to it with relentless precision: "I'm not going to change what has worked for me all those years! Carmen Electra can truly shove it! You're not going to knock me over inside the first couple of rounds. I'm too fookin' tough for it. Their Plan A obviously didn't work and if their Plan B was to outlast me over the distance then Carmen hasn't watched the tape at all! Better luck next time!" (laughs).
