Intro:
The BBU bantamweight title is up next on tonights PPV, Vera Brezhneva looks to bring the title home to Ukraine, Helen Flanagan though isn't going to give up the title so easily.

Vera is 36 years old; she stands 5'7 ¾ and holds a record of 9 wins, all by knockout and only 1 defeat.

Helen is 28 years old; she stands 5'3 and holds a record of 18 wins, 17 by knockout and 17 defeats, this is the 3rd defence of her BBU bantamweight title.

Both fighters came face to face at the press conference, Helen proudly has the title around her waist as she tells Vera to forget about the title, while Vera tells her that she is taking it.

They separate after a few more choice words, with both heading to their tables so the event can begin properly, with the challenger Vera getting to speak her mind first.

"This is what I have been working towards, I knew in my heart I was good enough to get the opportunity at the gold, now I need to prove I am championship material and be the first BBU champion from Ukraine" proudly says Vera.

She continues "Helen has been a good champion, I know I can be a great champion" nodding as Helen can be seen rolling her eyes.

Helen says "listen Vera; I don't care what you think, I am the best bantamweight in the world right now, this proves I am" she stands up and takes the bell off.

Holding it above her head to prove her point, she continues "so I don't know what fairytale you have in your head that you are taking this off me because it isn't going anywhere other then my waist after we are done"

"Is that so?" Asks Vera with malice behind it, with Helen replying "yes bytch, it is so!" With both women's tempers starting to rise.

They exchange insults but hold their tempers at bay long enough that they leave the stage with no issues, organisers can be seen breathing at sigh of relief, while journalists groan at not seeing a catfight.

Fight night in the BBU Arena in Cardiff, cameras pick out an interesting spectator in the front row of the crowd, the crowd pleasing for her controversial style Doda is watching closely, with reports saying she has been promised a title shot off the winner of this contest.

First out comes the challenger; Vera has a long golden robe on as she looks regal in her approach to the ring, her eyes locked on the ring as Doda hurls abuse at her rival, Vera's reply is to hold her hand up in Doda's face as she continues to stare at the ring, then begins what she hopes is her walk to glory.

Her coach takes the robe off as Vera stands at the bottom of the steps, revealing that she is wearing a gold sports bra with a black pattern trim, she has gold trunks on with a black rose on the left leg, black trunks and shoes, while her blonde hair is braided.

Stepping into the ring; Vera looks all business as she steps to her corner, warming up while being drilled by her coach, who is telling her to grab this chance with both hands.

Now out comes the champ; Helen smiles as she heads to the ring, lacking no confidence as has her coach behind her holding the title belt up for everyone to see.

Her attire is a white sports bra with black trim, matching trunks and white boots with black laces, she has black gloves with white thumbs and her brunette hair is braided too.

Climbing into the ring; Helen blows kisses to her fans as she heads to her corner, as soon as she reaches it; the smile is gone and she is fully focused on what lays ahead for her.

Soon enough the fighters are brought to the ring centre and touch foreheads, their eyes are full of fire as they stare down the woman trying to take what is most important to them.

They are asked to touch gloves; after a quick swipe of gloves, they jog back to their corners, ready to start 10 rounds of BBU bantamweight title action.

Round 1:
Out come the fighters with Vera straight away getting her jab at work, Helen smartly keeping her guard tight in response as the fighters circle.
When Helen tries to dip down and come in tight; Vera simply steps back and lands a double jab to the top of the head of the champion.
The crowd look a little stunned at how subdued Helen is in this opening round; Vera simply dancing around her and lashing long range punches into Helens guard, with some finding a home on top of her head.
Till Flanagan shows off her speed, parrying a jab; she dips under a right cross and comes inside to work, slamming her punches into the body of her opponent.
The fighters both slug it out in tight, Helen looking to outwork Vera, lashing in two hooks into the ribs and an overhand right to knock Vera back.
The champion looking to drive Vera onto the ropes, with the Ukraine lands a straight onto the nose of Flanagan to slow her charge down.
The round soon ends with Vera back in control, the challenger nodding to her coach as they give her a thumbs up, the opening round was hers.

Round 2:
Vera again starts off strongly as she drills Helen to the top of her head with the champ stuck at arms length, Helen looking for ways to get in close, but keeps getting caught coming in.
The older fighter takes the ring centre after landing stiff straight shots to the face of Helen, keeping Helen aimed towards the ropes.
When Vera looks to knock Helen onto the ropes; Helen slips under a left cross to slam a right into the ribs, then an overhand left smacks into the cheek of the blonde fighter.
Helen starts to drive Vera back; piston like punches testing the abs of her challenger, taking the ring center herself now as Vera looks to step back and reopen the gap between them.
The fighting becomes more closely fought as Helen starts inside the reach of Vera; both fighters letting their hands do the talking as they brawl.
Helen dips under a right land in the round and lands an uppercut, that shoves Vera onto her heels, with Helen smacking her across the face with three punches.
The bell rings to end the round; Helen strutting back to her corner as she throws her arms up in the air, Vera scowling even as her coach tells her she did well in that round, as both coaches look happy with their fighters.

Round 3:
The champ is looking more aggressive now as she looks to get in close with her speed, slipping under a jab to get in tight to work.
Both women throwing more punches in bunches, with Vera managing to push Helen back with her left, followed by a right hook that knocks Helen back a step.
Now it's Vera coming on the front foot, she slams a left and right straight into the face of Flanagan to knock her backwards.
Helen sidesteps Vera as the challenger swings a left hook, the English fighter lands a right to the abs of Brezhneva, followed with a left across the side of her head.
Back in tight they work; Helen nearly headbutts Vera as she lands two hooks under the ribs of her opponent, who hisses and moves back with her guard up.
Helen coming on strong as she bangs away at the guard of Vera, forcing her opponent around the outside of the ring, landing her punches to the body when she doesn't succeed up top.
With the final seconds of the round seeing Vera look to come out her shell, but she misses as Helen dips under a straight and bangs two more rights of her own into the abs.
The rounds ends with Helen jogging to her corner with a smile on her face, her coach praising her as she sits on her stool.
While Vera looks more annoyed, sitting on her stool glaring at Helen, her coach washes her down with her body looking marked up.

Round 4:
Helen looks to push onwards, keep the pressure on the older fighter as she comes out her corner quickly, but she is met with a straight into her nose to keep her back.
The singer lands another straight to the top of Helen's head, then a left across her cheek puts the champ back behind on the defensive.
Vera slamming punches through the gloves of Helen to the top of her head, knocking her onto the ropes; where she starts pounding the body of the younger fighter.
Helen clinches up with Vera, both women exchanging insults as they land punches into the others kidneys with their rights, till the referee steps in to break them up.
Once they are apart, the fighters circle and trade stiff single punches, Helen ends up taking a double jab on her nose that forces a trickle of blood from her nostrils.
Vera forces Helen back on the defensive with a flurry of punches into the gloves of the champ, keeping Helen around the outside of the ring.
The bell rings with Vera getting into the face of Helen, the referee needed to step in before they decide to continue, both ordered back to their corners.
Helen's coach tell her to step up a gear if she is to keep the title, her nose is patched up as she grimaces at the touch.
In the opposite corner; Vera getting the sweat wiped off her face and body, she shakes her arms to keep them loose, looking stoic as she stares across the ring at her opponent.

Round 5:
Vera keeps Helen struck to the outside of the ring early, managing to land more clearly through the mitts of the champ onto the top of her head.
The challenger lands another straight onto the nose of Helen, making her nose trickle blood again, with Vera banging away at the face of her opponent.
Helen is forced to pull Vera into a clinch, with the champion looking annoyed as she stares at her coach, who is shouting at her to fight harder.
The fighters are pried apart, with Vera looking to push on, landing a double jab onto the top of the champs head, but misses with a right cross as Helen sidesteps her.
Helen lands a straight to the lips of Vera, keeping to the left of the Ukrainian and away from her power punches, instead countering with ones of her own.
The round ends with Helen banging her gloves together in frustration as she heads to her corner, her coach cleaning her up and telling her to think about what she is doing in the ring.
While Vera looks keen to get back at out and get at the champ, her coach is praising her and telling her to stick to the gameplan as she stands for the next round.

Round 6:
The fighters come out with Helen on her bike more, sticking mostly to the left side of Vera as the challenger looks to beat Helen back to the ropes.
It leads to both landing single punches as they move around the ring, Helen dipping under a straight and lands an overhand right that turns Vera's head.
Vera tries to swing a right hook that sails over the head of Helen; WHO COMES UP WITH AN UPPERCUT, THE LEGS OF VERA WOBBLE AND LANDS A RIGHT HOOK ACROSS THE CHIN OF VERA THAT SENDS HER CRUMBLING TO THE CANVAS!
The crowd look stunned as Helen woops and jogs over to a neutral corner, 1...2...3 Vera can be heard groaning as she lays on her face, 4...5...6...7 Vera rolls to her back, staring up at the ceiling as 8...9...10 Vera is counted out!

Winner and still BBU bantamweight champion Helen Flanagan KO Round 6

After:
A big test for Helen ends with her passing it with a bloody nose, raising her arms up in the air as she leans against the turnbuckles of the corner she is in.

While Vera is checked on by the ringside doctor, she understandably looks pissed off as she is helped to sit up, holding her head with her left hand, punching the canvas with her other hand.

Both women get back to their stools and are cleaned up, their eyes still locked across the ring as clearly plenty of bad feelings still between them.

As soon as they are ready; they come to the ring centre for the final result announcement, as Helen has her hand raised and the title put around her waist by her coach, Vera shakes her head and looks in the opposite direction.

Vera knowing that she had the fight in her hands, she let it slip in her mind and now she looks out the ring at her biggest enemy now stepping into the ring, knowing that Doda has the next shot at the title.

It doesn't help as she goes to leave the ring; Doda enters and mockingly applauds Vera, telling her "you were so close, too bad you just aren't good enough bytch" making Vera stop and look to get at the smirking Polish woman.

Vera's coach has to tell her to leave as she wants a piece of Doda, only getting a middle finger from her fellow blonde as Vera turns and leaves the ring, she can be heard cursing as she heads to the back.

Inside the ring; Helen and Doda come face to face, they touch noses as they stare each other down, cameras record the moment as the hype for these two fighting leads to the crowd chanting both women's names.

Doda tells Helen "you know that around your waist is mine, the title is going to look so good on my waist" grinning as Helen shakes her head.

Helen replies "funny; every time you've stepped up to fights like this, you choke worse then when you are blowing someone off"

Now it's Doda's turn to look angry as she pulls the hair of Helen, who tugs her in reply, both needing to be pried apart by the referee and Helen's coach, with both kicking out at each other.

Once apart; Doda shouts at Helen "tick tock bytch! I am taking that title!" Stepping out the ring and storming up the aisle to the back.

While Helen celebrates in the ring, arms in the air as her fans cheer her, the next time she'll be in the ring will be another tough fight though against Doda in a few months time, will she be celebrating then?
