Intro:
A battle of British singers now; Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding get it on tonight in the BBU Arena in Cardiff, who will move closer to a BBU bantamweight title shot?

Rita is 28 years old; she stands 5'5, she holds a record of 7 wins, all by way of knockout, with 4 defeats.

Ellie is 32 years old; she also stands 5'5, she holds a record of 6 wins, 5 by way of knockout, with 6 defeats.

The fighters both posted videos on social media, showing off their skills for their fans; while calling each other out to try to top each video.

Till Rita gives a statement in a video; telling the camera "Ellie you want a piece of me, I've been wanting to kick your arse when we first met all those years ago, you arrogant bleach blonde bytch!"

Throwing a hook into a punchbag; Rita continues "when that bell rings you are mine, you will be wishing you never accepted the fight, you'll be bowing whenever I'll go past you in future, take that as my promise"

While Ellie finishes up sparring some local talent, finishing up she heads to the side of the ring where the cameraman is filming it.

"So Rita you are making promises; telling me that I'll be bowing down to you in future, honey only promise I want to make is I am going to make you cry for your mommy after I beat your f***ing arse" says Ellie as she laughs.

"Hopefully my fans come out in force as the comeback begins with Rita's name on my record" showing off her fists as she poses for the camera.

Fight night; Rita is out first with her coach beside her, all smiles as she jogs down the aisle, looking confident that it will be her hand raised to tonight.

She is wearing a violet sports bra, matching trunks, shoes, with black gloves, while her hair is tied back into a ponytail.

Stepping into the ring; Rita pumps her right fist in the air as she jogs over to her corner, stretching as her coach is telling her to make Ellie respect her by knocking her out.

Ellie now comes out with her coach, she bangs her gloves together at the top of the aisle, looking to psyche herself up as she then begins to march down to the ring.

She is wearing a white sports bra, black trunks with white stripes, black shoes, white gloves with black thumbs, while her hair is braided.

After climbing into the ring; Ellie gives Rita a cold stare before she poses at the center of the ring with her arms in the air, then jogs over to her corner with an intense look on her face.

When the fighters come to the center of the ring, they square up as the referee moves to nudge them apart, telling them to stick to the rules.

They slam their gloves together before they jog back to their corners, getting their gumshields in before the referee signals for the bell to ring to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
It looks like Ellie is going to look to box on the outside early, while Rita is moving her head more as she dips down, looking to get in tighter to work.

Jabs are the main weapon in the opening thirty seconds as they feel their rival out, testing their relaxes as it looks like things are going to be cagey.

Rita though quickly ups the tempo; slipping a straight to move inside to work the body, landing a three punch combo, Ellie shoving her back to the outside.

It looks like Ellie is too keen on landing the perfect shot, giving Rita freedom to move around her, then get in close to work as Ora is definitely the one letting her hands go of the two women.

As the fight goes into the final minute; Ellie seems to realise she can't just pick her punches this early against someone working harder then her.

Fists are flying in the center of the ring as the crowd roar the fighters on, this has been brewing for a while, it shows as they look to be enjoying it when not getting hit.

The round ends with Rita pumping her right fist in the air in front of Ellie, telling her "this is my round" as already both women are glaring at the other.

Round 2:
They are both throwing more punches at a time now, Ellie is doubling her jab up to make it harder for Rita to move in close, leading to a jabbing exchange from the pair of them.

As Rita looks to dip down; she eats a quick three punch combo off the top of her head, making her step back and cover up as Ellie now looks to throw hooks to her head, Goulding just missing as Rita dodges with good footwork.

Maybe learning from the opening round; Ellie is being more aggressive, throwing more punches at the head of Rita, though it looks like the guard of Ora is blocking most of the shots.

Problem for Rita though she is mostly being subdued, still having a little success throwing from the back foot, but as soon as she is being hit right on her lips or mouth, she turns turtle by returning behind her guard.

Late into the round; Rita finally slips a left cross, countering with a right of her own to the body, followed by an uppercut that doesn't land flush, clearly it does enough to make Ellie step back as Rita comes on strong.

They end the round with Rita shoving Ellie near the ropes to work the body, the bell rings as both again intensely stare at the other, they won't be hugging after this fight is done.

Round 3:
Both are working firmly behind a jab right now, after an even two rounds they are looking for better ways of taking control of this fight.

Ellie tries to step in with a left hook that her opponent stops, eating a counter uppercut to the body to make her groan out.

Now that Rita is on the inside, she is forcing the issue in the pocket, Elle wants to step back judging by her body language, not enjoying this inside fighting compared to the younger fighter.

Who has her head down under the chin of Goulding, bashing her body with hooks to the side, while driving her onto the ropes, making the older fighter clinch up.

After the referee breaks them apart; Ellie catches Rita coming at her with a jab/straight combo to the mouth, that seems to have made Rita think about her attack as she probes again with her own jab.

Giving Ellie a little room to breath as they go back to single punches, suddenly Rita again shows her quick turn of pace, slipping a right to land an overhand left, two more punches come flying in across Ellie's face just before the bell rings to end the round.

Rita whoops as she jogs back to her corner, no issue of confidence in her corner as her coach is heard praising her work rate, the message is simply to keep working at this pace as they don't think Ellie can.

Round 4:
It is definitely clear Rita is the one in the zone right now, she slips a straight early on to get in tight, working the body with piston like shots that has Ellie groaning out loud.

Shoving Rita back; Ellie is trying to enforce a gap between them to work, a fiery exchange happens at midrange as the desperation from Goulding to keep that distance is showing.

It appears to have worked as Rita takes a step back, Ellie moves around with her jab landing on the cheeks of Rita as the Goulding corner are yelling their praise at her.

Maybe too early as Rita parries a jab to move in close again with an overhand left to the cheek, sweat flies of Ellie's head as an uppercut follows to push her onto her heels.

The only issue for both fighters is they aren't one punch knockout artists, it shows as Rita lands another two punches to knock her opponent back to the ropes, but after landing another few clean punches she is clinched up.

The referee steps in to break the trash talking pair apart, Ellie looks on the defensive as she is retreating around the ring in the final thirty seconds.

The round ends with Rita seen smirking at Ellie, returning to her corner to more praise as she's taken control of the action now.

Across the ring Ellie's cheeks looks a little swollen, her body has red marks forming from Rita, Ellie's coach is telling her to box more smartly, she can't let Rita get into full stride.

Round 5:
Rita continues to be the aggressor from the bell, Ellie is moving around her with single punches still, the younger fighter though is slipping them to move in tight to work away to the delight of her fans.

Several shots land to the ribs of Ellie; making her wince as she needs to shove Rita backwards, a smile is on Rita's face as she's sure she has her opponent on the ropes figuratively, 

Though obliviously she hopes literally soon as she steps forwards, but as she goes to land a straight to the body, Ellie parries it before landing a straight to the top of Rita's head.

It seems Ellie is changing up her tactics, countering more as she sidesteps the oncoming Ora to dodge, then land shots straight on her face.

A slight look of doubt can be seen on Rita's face as Ellie looks to be outboxing her, sweat is coming off the head of Rita as she eats shots clean.

The bell rings with Ellie letting herself grin, knowing that was much better for her, when they both sit down; their coaches are working on reducing swelling on their cheeks.

Round 6:
Ellie is boxing more on the back foot; showing off her own speed as Rita comes forwards, making Ora look annoyed as she isn't landing as easily as before.

Using her left forearm to shove Ellie onto the ropes so she can work the body, the referee steps in to break them up before warning Rita to keep things clean.

Rita is managing to get some success with jabs and straights to the abs of Ellie, when she is stepping to get in closer though counter punches are landing across her face from the more mobile Goulding.

Who dodges an overhand right; landing a two punch combo straight off the nose of Rita, no blood shows but tears look to want to run from Rita's eyes after those clean shots.

This time Rita does get inside to work the sides of the body, Ellie responses by holding onto her, Rita shoves her head into the chin of Ellie as things are starting to look scruffy.

After being broken up; Rita gets caught with a right hook as she tries to move inside again, Ellie bashes Rita to the face with a flurry of punches as seconds tick away in the round.

The bell rings after Rita is knocked into a corner, where she looks frankly pissed off as Ellie can be seen smirking at her now, a complete turn around from only two rounds ago.

Round 7:
Both women start off circling; Rita doesn't seem as confident to move inside, she is throwing more jabs as she seeks to work her way in close.

It is allowing Ellie to work more freely, landing straight shots to the top of Rita's head to knock sweat off her, keeping her opponent on the outside.

Rita manages to slip a left cross to get back to the body, driving Ellie onto the ropes, where they scruffy fight in the pocket, heads rubbing as they can be heard groaning.

A nudge from Rita opens up a gap, which Rita tries to plug quickly, BUT SHE GETS CAUGHT WITH AN UPPERCUT, THAT OPENS UP RITA TO MORE POUNDING PUNCHES ACROSS HER FACE, A RIGHT HOOK LANDS ON THE CHIN OF ORA TO SEND HER DOWN TO HER SIDE!

Ellie jogs straight over to the neutral corner, 1...2...3.. Rita shakes her head as she tries to clear her head, 4...5...6.. Rita tries to push herself up, 7...8.. But she slips into the rooms still dazed, 9...10 that's all she wrote!

Winner Ellie Goulding KO Round 7

After:
Ellie wins this back and forth battle, she mounts the bottom rope in the neutral corner, raising her fists as she smiles at her fans, who are cheering loudly around the arena.

While Rita has her coach kneeling down next to her, helping her as she starts to shake off the daze she was in, disappointment etched on the face of Rita as she sits looking at the celebrating Ellie.

Who heads over to her corner to get cleaned up, Goulding's coach is full of praise after a great win for her, Ellie doesn't even seem bothered by Rita anymore, just content to chatting with her coach now.

Rita on the other hand stands up when she's ready, storming over to Ellie even as her coach tells her not to, leading to Rita pulling Ellie around to face her.

They square back up to each other face to face, Rita telling Ellie "you were f***ing lucky c***" with Ellie telling her to bring it then, their coaches have other ideas as they drag them apart, Rita taken to her corner by her coach as a "let them fight!" Chant breaks out.

When they are supposed to go to the center of the ring for the result, Rita waves that she isn't doing it, climbing out the ring instead as she storms up the aisle, telling her coach "I want a rematch with that bytch"

Ellie just mockingly waves Rita off with a grin, getting her hand raised by the referee to a cheer, Ellie will be hoping that she can push on from this win.

She has one thing on her mind though as she steps up to a side of the ring, leaning over the ropes to stare into a camera to say "Charlotte Church! Me and you bytch! I will f***ing knock you out if you accept my challenge" grinning as she steps back to the center of the ring to pose.

When she leaves the ring; her and her coach are full of smiles, already chatting about the future fights they want, Charlotte obliviously named with the bantamweight champion Doda in her hit list.
