(Bronzed Oz Boxing vs Free Agent)

Intro:
The main event of this beach boxing card sees Nicky Whelan return to the ring after a hiatus, she has been called out by Rita Ora to duke it out on the white sands of Paradise Beach.

Nicky is 38 years old; she stands 5'6 ½, holding a record of 1 win, that coming by way of knockout, with 4 defeats.

Rita is 29 years old; she stands 5'5, holding a record of 8 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 7 defeats.

The fighters were interviewed inside a conference room at the Atlantis resort that is at the center of the island, both fighters come into the room with eyes locked in an intense stare, before they sit on stools with microphones in hand.

Nicky is the first to speak when asked why she took this fight on, she chuckles before replying "I know a lot of people assumed I was retired because I train my stablemate, I am still open to fighting guys and welcome any challenge"

Looking over at her opponent, Nicky continues "Rita's agent run up my manager Sonia (Kruger) about using me as a tune up, as you can guess I don't take kinda to that assertion that all I am is a tune up to some pop princess who sits on her arse all day from what I see" that makes Rita grin.

Rita fires back "Nicky you seem confused if you think you are more then a warm up for me, to go from beating the legend Una Healy to you might seem strange, I've had a few months off and I want to ease back into the big fights, Nicky has always had a good engine so I hope you give me rounds"

That makes Nicky stand off her stool, Rita quickly matching her as Nicky asks "oh really?" She knows the answer as Rita simply nods before the fighters rush each other, hands in hair as they call their opponent a bytch.

They are pulled apart and go led out the room by security through different exits, the journalists surprised that things got so out of hand, maybe the old ashes rivalry on show here.

Fighting time; out comes Nicky with Sonia working her corner, she is wearing a blue bikini with white floral patterns on the cups, blue gloves, while her hair is in a ponytail.

Next out comes Rita wearing a black bikini, the top looks to be fighting to contain her breasts as she jogs to the ring with her coach behind her, she has black gloves and her hair is also in a ponytail.

The ring posts have been set directly into the sand, no spectators for this event, just a judges table and camera men to go along with those involved in the fight.

Coming to the center of the ring, Rita and Nicky begin trash talking as they edge nose to nose, they bump chests as the referee quickly separates them before it kicks off.

Told to touch gloves, they don't as clearly no respect here at all, instead they jog back to their corners, ready to kick off 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Circling near the center of the ring, they trade stiff jabs to start off, Rita is looking to be moving her upper body more to dodge, Nicky showing good footwork to dodge the early darting attacks from Ora.

A cagey opening thirty seconds ends when Nicky catches Rita with a left across her cheek, a straight knocks back the Brit as Sonia bellows out the first "good job!" Of the fight.

If Rita thought she was simply going to come straight up the middle on her opponent, she is finding out it won't be that easy as Nicky shows off her impressive footwork to help keep her at bay.

It's the stiff straight shots of Nicky scoring the points so far, Rita banging her gloves in annoyance, Nicky taunting her to bring it as she shows why she is a head coach of a stable.

But as they enter the final minute of the round, Rita seems to work out the puzzle with a feint with her left, landing a right hook to the ribs, she lands a follow up overhead left to the chin of the Aussie.

Who finds herself in a slugfest to finish the round, the referee needing to nudge the fighters apart as they exchange glares on their way back to their corners.

Round 2:
Things again start off in a chess like fashion, Rita moving more side to side, trying to match the movement of her opponent, both fighters trading stiff jabs to the others mouth.

Rita burying a double jab into the cheek of Nicky, getting caught with a right cross as she tries to step back to range, Nicky certainly not being embarrassed so far.

But things are starting to go into Rita's favour, she cuts off the ring and buries a right into the abs of Whelan, an overhand left smacks the Aussie to her chin to knock her into the corner.

Sudden to Rita is able to open up on Nicky, using her body like a punch bag with short sharp digs, Nicky needing to drag Rita into a clinch to force the referee to step in to break them up.

Doubling up her jab to try to keep Rita back, Nicky is wanting to stay off those ropes in the final forty seconds, drilling in some nice crisp counter punches to the overzealous Ora's face.

At the bell Rita tells Nicky "one to me bytch" Sonia tells Nicky when she returns to her corner not to worry about this round, regroup and get back on the move is what she is told.

Round 3:
Landing more combos as they are warmed up to the task, Nicky manages to knock back Rita to the outside with a jab/straight combo to the nose of Ora.

But a shoulder roll from Rita to dodge outs up Nicky to an uppercut to her chin, two venomous hooks to the body make her gasp as Nicky finds herself being driven back.

Rubbing foreheads as they work on the inside, the body shots to Nicky seem to be sapping her energy more then she is her opponent, she is finding herself being knocked back in these exchanges.

Going into the final minute, Nicky gets hit square on her gut, she looks winded as Rita slams two overhand punches into her face, AN UPPERCUT SENDS NICKY TO HER BACK!

Sonia puts her head in her hands, Rita waving her right glove at her, 1...2...3... Nicky slowly turns to her front and crawls towards the ropes, 4...5...6.. Using the middle rope to begin dragging herself up, 7...8... She beats the count with a deep breath.

The action resumes with Nicky getting picked apart by Rita, who is swinging around and through the guard of Whelan to hurt her, all the way up till the bell rings to end the round.

Sitting on her stool getting worked on by Sonia, Nicky's pride is still on show as she stares hard at Rita, not looking like she is going to quit anytime soon.

Round 4:
Coming back out to fight, Nicky still doesn't seem to have fully recovered, her guard is loose and Rita is able to drill her punches into the face of Nicky to knock her head back.

A left hook under the ribs of Nicky makes her groan out loud, AN UPPERCUT WOBBLES THE LEGS OF WHELAN, THE RIGHT HOOK THAT FOLLOWS TO THE JAW SENDS NICKY DOWN TO HER BACK!

The referee needing to nudge a gloating Rita to a neutral corner, 1...2...3...4.. Nicky's chest is rising up and down, her eyes are shut though, 5...6...7... She seems lost to the world in your own dreams right now, 8...9...10 that's it for Nicky!

Winner Rita Ora KO Round 4

After:
Rita wanted rounds and she got a few tonight, once she hurt Nicky though it seemed a matter of when the fight would be over, a strong statement for Rita going forwards.

One she wants to rub in as she places her foot on the chest of the beaten woman, Rita yelling "I don't care who I fight! Whether it is another one of you slu**y Aussies or another British bytch! I'm ready for the big time!" Sonia needing to shove her off Nicky so her fighter can get help.

All Rita does is cockily grin at her, then heads off to her corner to get cleaned up, her coach telling her she did a great job, that was once she worked out Nicky as she didn't fight a perfect fight.

Meanwhile Nicky stirs awake but is out of it, a stretcher is brought into the ring so she can be taken out the ring, Sonia looking guilty as she wonders whether she should have threw in the towel for her fighter.

After getting cleaned up, Rita heads to the center of the ring so she can get her hand raised by the referee, grinning as she has her other arm out at side, showing she doesn't have that many marks really on her.

Posing for the cameras with her hands on her hips and a pout on her face, Rita leaves the ring with her coach beside her, already thinking about who she should fight next.
