Intro:
In lieu of the crossover theme this month in the BBU, Rita Ora and Nicole Scherzinger have both agreed to fight it out in the BBU Arena in Cardiff, though there were rumours of arguments over venues and other matters that nearly stopped this fight happening.

Stories are Rita wanted home field advantage boxing in London, while Nicole making her debut in the BBU, countered by saying she wanted it in Los Angeles, the BBU committee was said to have put the compromise up and here they both are in Wales.

First though the two fighters met on the set of the BBU network, the handshake and face off was tense as they squared up nose to nose, Denise Van Outen presenting this had to go over help settle things down when the fighters touched foreheads, everyone worried the powder keg was about to go off.

Calmer heads prevailed as they went to their stools, Rita wearing a red dress with matching heels, Nicole wearing a figure hugging black dress with matching heels, both looking stunning as always.

Denise first asks Rita what this fight means to her, with the Brit smiling to Denise as she turns away from Nicole, telling her "it's simply a showcase to me, Nicole has had a good career, though I know as the world does that she is on the way out, I mean her stable did boot her out last year for a younger model" grinning as Nicole stares angrily at her.

Turning to Nicole, Denise asks the same question, with the Pussycat Doll replying with eyes firmly on Rita "first it is great to be back in the UK, people forget I fought Alesha Dixon in this country back in 2011, I love the people here though Rita wanted to try to make this all about her"

Leaning forwards slightly, with a catty smirk Rita butts in with "well I am the draw here, people don't want to see a fat arse like you trying to relieve when they were famous, hell I never have to play gigs in cheap nightclubs like you and the rest of your pussies did"

That sets off Nicole as she lunges forwards and pulls Rita off by her hair, Denise stands back as she nearly gets caught in the mix, both singers screaming blue murder as they swing slaps into bodies, then try to rip off dresses as heels go flying and they topple down.

Security gets onto the scene as Denise lifts her arms up as if to say "where have you been?" With the snarling hellcats dragged apart, Nicole's dress torn down the center to show a little more of her cleavage, Rita's torn around the sides, both fighters hair is a mess as some of it litters the set floor, they are still screaming at each other as they are dragged off the set.

Fight night, Rita is the first through the curtain, bouncing on her toes at the top of the aisle before she heads down it, her coach following as Rita waves to fans in the front row.

Stepping into the ring, Rita is wearing a red sports bra with white stripes down the sides, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves, while her hair is braided, she looks in a fighting mood as she paces in her corner banging her gloves together.

Nicole comes out now flanked by her coach, she raises her arms in the air as she enjoys the cheers of her fans, her demeanor becomes serious as she marches towards the ring.

Getting through the ropes into her corner, Nicole is wearing a white sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, gold coloured gloves, her hair is also braided as her eyes are locked onto her opponent's.

Heading together at the center of the ring, the referee stays between the two fighters, who have looks that could kill their opponent, Nicole banging her gloves together as Rita shakes her arms.

Told to touch gloves, they just turn their backs and head to their corners, not much respect here as both get in their gumshields, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding" stepping out their corners happy to exchange jabbing drills to start, Nicole shows off her flexibility with her upper body movement, Rita more up straight throwing punches to the face of the older fighter.

It is Nicole to land the first hard shots of the fight, slipping a straight to bang in a right cross/left hook to turn Rita's head side to side, the veteran smirking as Rita steps back looking annoyed already she got caught out like that.

Nicole seems to have the measure of Rita more quickly, dodging more punches then she takes, landing several crisp counter punches into the face of her opponent to begin marking up her face.

But past half way in the round, Rita smartly starts to feint more to draw Nicole in, ducking a left cross from the American, Rita bangs in hooks to the body of Scherzinger to make her groan out.

Now Rita comes on stronger as she focuses on the body, trying to stop Nicole's movement, with Nicole landing some nice shots out her guard to the face of Ora, finding herself getting pushed to the ropes though.

Both letting their fists fly when the ten second bell is heard, when the round does end they scowl at the other as they return to their corners, an evenly fought start that maybe could be Nicole's round.

Round 2:
Coming out in a similar style to the first round, Rita trying to catch Nicole but is finding it hard to pin down the American, who is slipping punches to land her own to the cheeks of Ora.

A double jab/straight to the face of Rita knocks her back, Nicole switching up a gear as she presses back towards the ropes, Rita needing to nudge back Scherzinger to get away from danger.

Nicole is simply on top, drilling punches into the face of Rita, pushing her around the outside of the ring, taking more herself but pushing back the Brit.

With a minute to go, finally Rita ducks a right to come back at Nicole with an uppercut, knocking back Nicole to her heels as she puts together her punches for the first time in the round.

Pressing back Scherzinger to the ropes as she jabs up top, when that door shuts she goes back to the body, forcing groans from Nicole as it is Rita finishing strong again.

As the round ends though it is clearly a round for Nicole, who gets a nod from her coach to say good job, though Rita showed at the end that she isn't going to be put down so easily.

Round 3:
Again Nicole starts off quickly, looking to control things from the front foot, though Rita is matching her more evenly though in these exchanges as they move around the center of the ring.

Both landing nice combos to the others face and tight abs, a sheen of sweat is starting to cover them as they bark out in effort in this evenly fought battle.

Stepping back out the way of a left cross, Rita counters with a straight punch into the nose of Nicole to push her behind her guard, pass the halfway mark of the round and again Ora looks to be getting on top.

Using her left forearm across the guard of Scherzinger, opening her up to two rights to the stomach, then an overhand left to the cheek of Nicole to send some sweat flying.

Once Nicole's back touches the ropes, she comes firing back, showing her fighting spirit as the crowd stand to cheer them on, heads getting knocked back as cheeks are marked up.

The referee has to yell stop at them when they both land a shot after the bell, eyes locked before they decide to return to their corners, Rita having her best round of the fight so far.

Round 4:
Throwing more combos at each other as they meet near the center of the ring, Rita looks to be landing the more cleaner punches, her hand speed just that little faster then Nicole's.

Who is trying to move her upper body more again, drilling in several punches back into the abs of Rita, Nicole sneaking into the chest of her fellow singer to push her back.

A missed right by Ora leaves her open to an overhand right to her jaw, powering forwards is Scherzinger with her piston like punches into the body, getting grunts out of Rita who clinches up when her back touches the ropes.

Split apart by the referee, Nicole looks to keep on the attack, she seems over keen though and pays for it with a straight to her chin after Rita leans out the way of a right cross.

Back comes Rita as the fighters nearly clash heads, working on the inside as they let their hands go, it becomes scruffy as they use their shoulders to bump the other back to create openings for their punches.

The round ends with them bumping shoulders as they head back to their corners, getting washed down as their coaches give them advice, Nicole's corner slightly the happier though it has been a closely fought affair from the start.

Round 5:
After having strong starts each of the last rounds, Nicole isn't having as much success now, Rita matching her boxing skills as they both parry and counter, the speed of Ora on perfect show.

A straight to the mouth of Nicole opens her up to a left cross, her head getting turned as she starts to eat more punches through her guard, Nicole's coach looking upset as she ends up in a corner.

Pulling Rita into a clinch, the referee splits the two fighters apart, with Nicole looking relieved to be back into space, though Rita is straight after her with both landing stiff head hunting punches.

Dipping under a straight, Rita lands an uppercut to the body of Nicole, who groans out before another overhand left crashes across her jaw, rocking her back as Ora turns up the heat.

Trying to fire back, Nicole is getting hit with the bigger punches, sweat being sent off her head, forcing her behind her guard as Rita unloads on Scherzinger.

The round ends with Rita raising her arms in the air as she returns to her corner, her fans cheering as she goes, while Nicole stares angrily at her before returning to her own corner.

Round 6:
Taking those shots in the last round seems to have taken something out of Nicole, she is getting hit easier as Rita picks her punches better, helped by the older fighter not moving her upper body as much.

Nicole does land a crisp jab/straight to the face of Rita, showing she isn't out this fight yet, though when she tries to press on she misses with a left hook as Rita just about gets out of danger.

As Scherzinger tries to land a right cross, Rita steps back quickly before stepping in with an uppercut that rocks back Nicole, the head of the American snaps back as her guard is open now.

Rita more then willing to take the opening, smacking back Nicole to the cheeks, a mouse forms under the left eye of Nicole, A LEFT HOOK/UPPERCUT COMBO LANDS FLUSH TO SEND NICOLE DOWN TO HER BACK!

The Ora fans are yelling as she smirks looking down at Nicole, referee nudges her to the neutral corner to begin the count, 1...2...3... Nicole is blinking as she looks at the lights, 4...5...6.. There isn't much more movement though, 7...8...9...10 leading to Scherzinger being counted out!

Winner Rita Ora KO Round 6

After:
Big win for Rita, arguably her biggest of her career, she turns to pose in the corner on the bottom ropes, arms in the air as she takes in her fans chanting her name as loud as they can.

Hoping down she heads back to her corner, where she gets fist bumps from her coaching team, all with beaming smiles as they certainly enjoyed helping her get this win under her belt.

Nicole on the other hand is helped to sit up, one mistake cost her this fight, though as her coach says she has nothing to be ashamed of, she had some great moments in this fight.

Though Rita isn't afraid to rub it in as she poses in her corner with her fingers shaped into a L when Nicole looks at her, laughing at the older woman, who stares daggers in return.

Helped up to her feet, Nicole is lead to her corner, where she gets patched up as her left eye looks to be swelling, she looks as much upset at herself as Rita for beating her.

Her mood not lighted when Rita gets her hand raised by the referee, she shakes her head before asking to be helped out the ring, the crew of Scherzinger getting her through the ropes, her supporters trying to help her crack a smile as they cheer her and some chant her name, she looks lost in her thoughts.

Inside the ring Rita poses in each corner, blowing kisses to the crowd as she has a beaming smile for them, proud of herself for taking down Nicole tonight.

As soon as she is done celebrating, Rita steps out the ring to head up the aisle, talking to her coaching staff on how great it feels to put down someone like Nicole, wanting to feel this more often as she clearly has her sights higher up the rankings.
