Intro:
Battling brunettes here as Daisy Ridley and Rosie Jones look for a win to change their current fortunes around, both still young former champions though so one good win should spark a revival in their careers towards the titles.

For Daisy after losing her BBU bantamweight title to Alice Eve earlier this year, her former has been best described as mixed, losing her last three fights to Helen Flanagan, Brie Larson and Kaya Scodelario hasn't helped the mood in camp around her form.

Something she admits when talking to the BBU reporter Anna Woolhouse at the Knockout Babes stable gym, sitting on a bench at the side of the room where multiple rings has sparring going on, Daisy says "it has been a difficult few months, losing the title... I don't know it just feels like when I lost it something has gone from me, it's hard to describe but u need to find it soon or I don't know where I'll be in a year" Anna putting her left hand on Daisy's shoulder as she can see it is hard for the actress to discuss.

Putting on a brave face, Daisy tells Anna "always the next fight right? I know Rosie is a cracking fighter, she isn't winning herself though right now so I know I can beat her, I'll use this as a building fight to get back what I lost" smiling more genuinely at the end as Anna wishes her good luck before Daisy goes off to spar with a local fighter.

Rosie as Daisy said has struggled in her last few fights, she hasn't had much time in the ring since 2017 when she was the first ever BBU JMD champion, losing to Holly Hagan then Luisana Lopilato one year after the other hasn't helped her stock, if not for this fight she wouldn't have fought at all this year.

As Rosie points out though that is partly down to side projects, like helping her husband Joe Wicks with his videos when he was hurt, joking with Anna about them as she sits on the ring apron in the Lookout! Atlantic gym after sparring with Billie Piper, telling Anna "you know I was tempted to ask Joe if I could do boxing for one of those videos, hell Billie here was nearly my sparring partner for that, but we decided it isn't much exercise getting hit" laughing with Anna as she agrees rubbing her cheeks as she hinted at doing her sparring herself with friends.

Getting down to the serious stuff, Rosie tells Anna when asked about her lack of fights "sadly it seems a story as old as time for me, when I get on top you see people clamouring to fight me, once the title leaves my waist or boobs, they all flee at the mention of my name, I'm a high risk low reward type girl I guess, I've never hidden from a challenge" Putting her boxing gloves on her lap after and getting a quick drink.

When asked about Daisy challenging her, Rosie replies "look respect to Daisy for giving me the call, she asked me directly if we could set this up, that's all the respect there will be though, I know she sees me as a stepping stone to climb back up but you know me Anna, I am nobodies stepping stone, you don't bring your best then I pound you out, I hope she understands that fully because I want her best" Anna agrees with that assessment before they both hug, Rosie going to the locker room looking relaxed.

Fight night; Daisy is out first wearing her favourite blue attire, blue sports bra, trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is a ponytail as she jogs down the aisle with her beautiful smile, coach Jennifer O'Dell following behind as the fans chant Daisy's name, the lovable Star Wars actress usually has a large following behind her.

Climbing into the ring, Daisy bounces on her toes at the center acknowledging her fans with her right arm in the air, heading to her corner after as she shadow boxes, Jennifer telling her "this is your night to prove you are still elite" making Daisy nod in agreement as she takes a breath to relax.

Rosie now comes out with manager/coach Nicole Ritchie beside her, the stunning Page three legend is wearing a red sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail too as she winks to some fans at ringside telling her to knock Daisy's head clean off.

Stepping into the ring, Rosie jogs around the ring pumping her right fist in the air as the fans cheer her, she nods towards Daisy with a grin, getting one back to show there is some friendliness here, Rosie looks serious though as she goes through her warm up routine in her corner.

The fighters step to the center of the ring, much more intense looks now as it is all about business now, a win here like gold dust for them, hoping it will regenerate their careers as they look their opponent over for any hints of weakness.

Asked to touch gloves, they respectfully touch them up as they nod to each other, returning to their corners moments later bouncing on their toes in their corner, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Circling up on their toes, more are technically sound boxers as shown by their jabs, which they throw when they feel they see an opening, landing that with little thuds echoing off them as neither pushes the boat out early.

Till Rosie slips a jab to move in closer to land a right hook to the ribs, the left up top doesn't land flush, it does give Daisy a warning to the speed of Jones, with the model grinning like a Cheshire cat as they box around the ring.

Daisy looks a little tense after that first feel of Rosie's skills, getting clipped now across her face by more rights as Rosie is looking to take charge in the exchanges, stretching her elbows more of the fighters.

As they enter the final minute of the round, Daisy lands a good jab square into the face of Rosie, following up with two cross punches as she seems to have woken up now, landing more punches as that grin is now gone from Jones beautiful face.

Instead she finds herself in more slugging exchanges in close as they plant their feet more, trying to win the round as the bell rings to end it, Rosie probably has done enough but she still nods her respect to Ridley as she sees Daisy isn't as timid as she first thought in the early exchanges.

Round 2:
Exchanging double jabs and jab/straight combos now as they each look for an opening, they look fully warmed up as each scores some beautiful punches to knock back heads.

Getting caught with a quick fire left hook to her jaw, followed by a right to her ribs, Rosie hisses out as she finds herself now on the outside of the ring, taking some jackhammer like jabs from the Star Wars actress as she keeps on the front foot.

Trying to move more side to side as she looks for a way off the ropes, Rosie is landing some sweet looking punches straight into Daisy's face, she gets caught though by hooks when she tries to move forwards as Daisy looks fully plugged in now.

Final forty seconds with Daisy looking comfortable, she gets a surprise when Rosie dips under a straight to whack in three counter punches across the body of Ridley, Jones finally gets off the ropes as she drives her opponent back with a several clean digs into the stunning face of Daisy.

At the bell Daisy this time has to nod to Rosie at how quickly she turned the tables on her, both corner teams having to give their fighters good advice as they seem pretty evenly matched skill wise, little mistakes are what is giving one an advantage early on.

Round 3:
Slamming in some cracking combos to start, the action starts to go more back and forth, one woman starts to push the other back before they miss with one punch, paying for it as she gets beaten back in a similar manner, the crowd on it's feet cheering the fighters on as thuds echo from the fighters gloves.

Using her JMD experience to stop Daisy in her tracks, Rosie lands a double jab to the chest of Daisy, who loses her concentration it seems as her left comes down low enough for Rosie to smack her across the jaw with a right hook that sends a little spit out her mouth.

Staying in closer more, Rosie is outworking Daisy, when Daisy tries to slug it out with the Lookout! Fighter, she is getting pegged back by uppercuts that knock her back till she is covering up on the ropes, Rosie whacking away to the body.

Pushing Rosie to her face to get off the ropes, Daisy catches the Page Three legendary coming in with a double jab to her mouth, stepping out the way of a left cross then slamming a straight into the face of Jones to show she won't be bullied so easily.

Like the start of the round they cancel each other out with some wicked combos that sees beads of sweat flying off both fighters when they get clocked with the bigger punches, cheeks getting a pink hue to show they are not throwing love taps.

The bell rings with both turning back to their corners, wondering what is it going to take to subdue their opponent, Nicole the happier coach as she is seeing more ways for Rosie to win then she feels Rosie can, how turn that is we will find out.

Round 4:
Boxing a little more off the back foot, Daisy is trying to keep Rosie from getting to the inside as easily, hammering in her punches more through the mitts of her opponent to send her head backwards.

Closing the gap when Daisy moves nearer the ropes, Rosie forces a heated exchange, both women landing some stiff cross punches across faces, snarling as they plant their feet down, neither wanting to back down in these exchanges.

As Rosie tries to dip down again to move inside, she gets clipped across the top of her head with a right hook, Daisy moving to the left out of harms way, instead it's Rosie being pressed back by a double jab/straight square into her face, making her cover up more tightly.

Driven into a corner by Ridley, Jones has to clinch up as both fighters bump bodies, a little grappling in the clinch as Rosie looks to be trying to reverse their positions, instead after the third shout of break the referee steps in to enforce it themselves.

As Daisy tries to keep her advantage, Rosie catches her with an overhand left after ducking a right, an uppercut to the body then lands as Rosie is turning the tables somewhat on Daisy, forcing her back on the outside of the ring as she claims the center.

The final moments seeing them work around the ring like this, Daisy jabbing as Rosie darts inside before moving back out to safety after landing two to three punches, till the bell rings to end another closely fought round, the crowd is on tenterhooks as they don't know whose going to win this fight.

Round 5:
Throwing more punches square into the breasts of Daisy, Rosie seems to think she has the ace up her sleeve as she tries to drag Daisy into her other skill set, Daisy isn't biting but she definitely doesn't enjoy being hit to her tits as her face grimaces.

Landing a double jab up top of Rosie's head to push her back, Daisy switching things around as she knocks back Rosie to the outside, herding her around the outside of the ring as the opening minute is as competitive as the action that has come before it.

At the half way point of the scheduled rounds, Rosie slips a straight to bang in two left hooks to the ribs of Daisy, bashing her to the body as Jones works her opponent to the ropes across the ring, getting loud groans from Ridley, who now clinches up with the older fighter to enforce a break.

It looks like that last rally from Rosie has fired her up, she is keeping Daisy near the ropes as she darts in and out of range, thrusting punches into the body or chin of Daisy to keep her where she wants her, as Daisy is trying to catch Rosie coming to the inside.

The round comes to an end with both women looking rosy cheeked, Daisy's body looks to have more marks on then Rosie, with more looking very determined as they sit on their stools, coaches washing them down as they tell them to find an opening soon before the other batters them back first.

Round 6:
That late part of the round seems to have gotten Rosie more up for taking the fight to Daisy, maybe thinking she senses a weakness in her opponent as she tries to walk her down, doubling her jab as she comes after her.

When Rosie throws a right cross, Daisy leans out the way before landing a clubbing left across the temple of Jones, AN UPPERCUT LANDS FLUSH THAT SENDS ROSIE DOWN TO HER BACK!

The crowd goes wild as they didn't see that coming, Daisy smiles as she jogs to the neutral corner seeing the crowds reaction to one of her sweetest punches of her career, 1...2...3... Rosie looks up blinking as her head is buzzing, 4...5...6.. Turning to her front, 7...8.. She tries to push up, 9... But falls to her backside 10 as she is counted out!

Winner Daisy Ridley KO Round 6

After:
There's the trademark Ridley celebration as she jumps for joy, it has been lacking lately but great to see back tonight as she is understandably smiling ear to ear after winning this tough contest, her coach Jennifer O'Dell is on the ring apron in her corner applauding her.

Rosie is still blinking as she sits on her backside wondering what hit her, Nicole is in the ring to check on her, Rosie comes around enough to push to her feet with a little wobble, getting help back to her stool as she chastises herself for not getting the job done tonight, Nicole making sure to point out she was in the ring with one of the best fighters in all of celebrity boxing, she pushed her on equal grounds tonight.

Across the ring Daisy gives Jennifer a big hug, thanking her for her support as they talk about the fight, Jennifer joking "that should knock the dust off you, get that boxing brain of your ticking fully instead of whatever you've been doing lately" Daisy admitting tonight was a good fight to get her back to where she wants to be.

When the fighters come to the ring center, Daisy makes sure to embrace Rosie, who hugs her back with a smile, both praising the others skills as they admit it was great to fight someone so close to themselves.

The referee gives a friendly reminder that they need to announce the result, making both fighters laugh as they nod to the ref, who lifts up Daisy's right arm to show she is the victor tonight in front of the fans and the worlds media capturing this moment, Rosie nodding as she knows tonight she was beaten by the better fighter.

But as Rosie heads out the ring, she showed why she is a dangerous opponent for anyone in this division, tonight, hopefully more will take up the challenge to face her in traditional and JMD rules fights because the BBU always seems brighter with Rosie's smile in an arena.

Inside the ring Daisy poses for the cameras with a peace sign on her right hand and her left arm around Jennifer's shoulder, the coach looking mighty proud of her student, ending what has been a more mixed year for them, hoping 2021 will be a great one for them, maybe another title run on the cards.

For now Daisy and Jennifer leave knowing the next stop is probably the Knockout Babe's New Year's day party, Daisy thanking the fans as she heads up the aisle with her beautiful smile that will hopefully be seen here more next year.
