Jade Thirlwall vs Ewelina Lisowska

BEFORE: South Shields' very own Jade Thirlwall has had enough of the buzz surrounding fellow singer Ewelina Lisowska and wants to beat all the stuffing out of her and then some! There's also another subplot present as current flyweight champion Zara Holland might be looking at the winner of this contest to issue an official title challenge - pending the outcome of her upcoming bout versus Michelle Keegan.

Jade is back in the ring after two years away but claims to be in top shape. She might be pondering some TV jobs in the near future - especially with Little Mix downsizing lately - but she's desperate to prove her BBU career is by no means over. Facing the undefeated Lisowska on her comeback is actually intended to make a true elite statement. No easy bouts on the return, just take out the hottest name in business and announce you're back where you belong!

Jade Thirlwall wears a navy blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose waves. Ewelina Lisowska wears a black crop top with purple trim, matching hotpants & purple gloves. Long raven-black hair tied in a custom ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Both girls charge at each other from the opening bell and stack up the early punches in true slugging fashion. Ewelina drills Jade's face but eats a quick stinger on the boobs and gets clipped on the chin as well which allows the Geordie singer to gain advantage in the proverbial phone booth dispute. She beats the fellow brunette for more overhand action and scythes her across the lips before another quick shot on the boobs drops Lisowska onto her heels. It seems like Thirlwall hasn't skipped a beat despite the lenghty break as she backs the Pole onto the ropes where she pounds her to the body and runs away with the action during the final minute. Ewelina tries to swing from behind the guard but fails to match Jade's intensity and bellows out behind a tight earmuff to close out the round.

Round 2:
Another slugging approach from both girls leads into a phone booth tangle in the center of the ring. Jade finds more success punching the Polish singer to the body but gets caught out by an accidental headbutt which allows Ewelina to rally back into contention through numerous quick jabs. Jade matches this work load and still lands the better body shots which forces Lisowska to clinch her during the second minute. Jade recovers better with more vicious harpoons and she dominates another phone booth tangle ripping nasty blows into Ewelina's ribcage and driving her butt-in-ropes in the closing seconds of the round.

Round 3:
Jade sends a rare head shot into Ewelina's mouth and wobbles her to the side before blasting the subdued foe on the rack one more time. Ewelina squeals in pain and truly begins to feel the heat as she gets thumped back to the ropes where Thirlwall pummels her to the body to maintain the dominant position. Lisowska manages to stall the Geordie charge with another clinching effort but gets busted in the solar plexus amid a frantic push for separation before Jade slams her on the chin with a vicious uppercut double. Ugh! EWELINA TAKES A KNEE as she suddenly looks awfully vulnerable and just can't shake off the Geordie heat at all. Jade struts back to her corner where bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock claims: "U got this bytch now!" but the Polish vixen gets back upright at eight and seems unfazed by the knockdown experience. Jade runs across the boards to resume the slugging drill but shoots over Ewelina's head and gets countered to the body instead as Lisowska thumps some extra tummy before driving a rare uppercut into Thirlwall's chest as well. Jade wobbles forward and bumps her nose off the Pole's shoulder before Ewelina rips a brutal hook in the guts that sends Jade stumbling back to the ropes right at the bell.

Round 4:
Jade is ready to thump more Polish midsection but Ewelina comes alive with a nasty hooking swing that picks the Geordie singer upstairs and neutralizes her in mid-distance for majority of the opening minute. Thirlwall is clearly upset she can't outmuscle Lisowska from this stance and becomes too careless with her aggressive approach; Ewelina keeps her at bay with the counter-punching efforts before she tags her on the temple and adds another nasty shot on the navel at the two-minute mark. Jade swings one but misses and gets punked from the inside as Ewelina delivers an uppercut blast that glues the younger brunette to the spot. Ugh! Ewelina snaps Jade's head in back & forth fashion before another bomb nails the Brit on the ear and sinks her on jelly knees just before the bell.

Round 5:
Jade is slowly losing her grip on the slugging action and leaks too many punches upstairs as Ewelina stays in the point-blank lane to rattle the Geordie stunner from both flanks. Jade lands several single punches but gets outworked in the center of the ring before Lisowska clubs her on the liver area with a nifty switch downstairs. Ewelina leans on the younger brunette and almost catches her with another head-butt but then pounds her on the chest and bumps off to her heels. Thirlwall tries to swing one over the top but skims off Lisowska's forehead and gets nailed with a vicious chin shot that leaves her slumped on her heels again. She just can't push off in time and eats a scything cross on the mouth THAT SENDS HER DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!! Uh-oh!! Jade lands on all fours but quickly gathers her thoughts and beats the count at six... however Ewelina buries her behind a head-hunting blast and backs onto the ropes in a hurry. Both singer exchange wild punches on the fly as Jade tries to hang on during a difficult spell... she does... but not without a price as Lisowska bursts her nostrils into a blood-seeping problem in the closing stages of the round.

Round 6:
Ewelina works on Jade's wounded nose early in the sixth and lands several clean shots on target as the Geordie stunner begins to leak blood again. Uh-oh!!! Leigh-Anne Pinnock wants a medical timeout but only distracts her bandmate with her loud please and Ewelina bangs a ruthless series into Jade's chin as the Geordie's high-guard suddenly collapses wholesale. Ewelina steps up into a nasty hook on the solar plexus that folds Thirlwall forward with a loud whimper before an uppercut follow up smokes Jade on the chin and DROPS HER FACE-DOWN moments later. Ugh! "Take that one, bytch!", Ewelina struts back to her corner as Jade remains down for a while before she tries to make a hectic recovery at the last second. She notices more blood stains on the canvas and simply sits down on her heels instead of making the extra effort.... NINE.. TEN... YER OUT!!! KO6 Ewelina Lisowska in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Ewelina high-fives coach Mel B. just as Leigh-Anne Pinnock enters the ring and argues with the ref over the intended medical timeout. Jade's nose has been busted up badly and the Geordie stunner tries to embrace that nasty feeling she's been battered into a bloody mess before getting up and sending the Lioness crew a lenghty death stare: "I'll get you next time, bytches!". "Boo hoo! You know where to find us!", Mel B. blows the fellow singer a kiss as Jade salvages some dignity in wake of this bitter defeat and turns away not to escalate the emotions any further. She still looked great in the early stages of the fight and if only she shakes off the rust for good - or stops thinking about that BBC TV job she's linked with - then she can make a proper run at the divisional straps again! Meanwhile BBU TV's Denise van Outen wants to know whether Ewelina's tenth victory in a row will be enough to catch Zara Holland's attention anytime soon?
