Round 1
Both girls are looking to make a good start, but it’s Rochelle who starts the better, and she’s already working hard and quickly on Rachel within the first minute, the blonde soon taking punishment, and not able to return too much as she suffers from the brunette’s rangy punches, the singer looking in prime form tonight, and this might be a painful bout for the blonde, who’s already backed into a neutral corner, Rochelle standing back, finding gaps in Rachel’s defensive posture, and she sags at the knees when a hard punch crashes into her midriff, then gets her head slammed left and right, comes off the ropes, then gets caught with a straight right to her face, and she’s back where she came from, takes a sharp and painful three punch combination of left jab, right cross, left hook, and she must be relieved to hear the bell

Round 2
She may have been relieved that round 1 was over, but Rachel’s soon taking punishment again, as Rochelle thuds punches into her face, left jabs, then right jabs, the blonde trying to keep the former champion off, but she’s just too good for her tonight, and poor Rachel’s teetering backwards, her nose dribbling blood, and Rochelle kind of pauses, sizes her up, then gives her a swift left hook, which is too good for the blonde and puts her down on her back. Rachel gets up again as the count reaches 6, but Rochelle’s soon hitting her again, left, right, another left – down she goes! Again, the outclassed Rachel stubbornly gets up, this time as the count reaches 8, and finds Rochelle in no hurry to knock her out just yet, the singer choosing to work on her body some more, wanting to hurt Rachel and send a message to the rest of the BBU lightweight division that she’s back and she’s hungry for success

Round 3
Rachel’s face is showing the amount of punishment she’s taken, the poor, battered blonde very bruised, scuffed and swollen around her cheeks and eyes, her nose possibly broken, and now a vicious Rochelle metes out more of the same, her left jab just smacking again and again into the hapless blonde’s waiting face, her long legs beginning to shake again under the torrent of leather, and there’s that left hook again, and Rachel’s back on the canvas, flat out on her back, but she’s still not knocked out, and somehow she gets up on her feet for a third time, using the ropes to clamber up again, the referee shaking his head as his count gets to 8, and he really doesn’t want this to continue, but he’s been warned not to stop the fight, and now Racel’s wobbling, squinting through at facing a wide –eyed Rochelle who shakes her head in disbelief, then she kind of prods the blonde back to the ropes, measures her up, then finishes her off at last with a crunching right uppercut, almost lifting Rachel out of the ring

Result: Rochelle Humes knocked out Rachel Riley in round 3

Rochelle wants a shot at the lightweight title, but first, she will almost certainly be facing Antonia Iacobescu, and that won’t be an easy fight
