After taking a bit of a thumping from Maria Ozawa at flyweight, 26 year old Debby is fighting at bantamweight tonight, because she feels she loses too much strength and energy to make the lower weight limit, and she’s up against experienced 34 year old Reon, who has never fulfilled expectations, and certainly never recovered from losing two title fights to Una Healy, but she may have too much for Debby tonight

In the ring already, Debby looks stunning in her red bikini, but Reon enters in a black leather outfit which leaves nothing to the imagination, and fightfans are getting excited 

Round 1
Neither girl wants to commit too early, but Debby’s moving well, and she’s landing a couple of good jabs on Reon in the opening minute, her arm stiff and strong, and those punches are rocking the older girl’s head backwards, and she’s gaining more confidence now, comes in closer – then eats a right uppercut as Reon fights back, the Japanese girl using all her experience to sucker Debby in close and thud that ripping punch into her jaw, the American staggered, aand she;s looking shaky as Reon bats her head from side to side, Debby grunting as she takes those shots, Reon trying to finish this fight inside the first round, looking good as she hits the younger girl, and, after a bright start, Debby’s looking shabby by the end of the round, a thin line of blood dribbling from her right nostril

Round 2
Reon’s grinning as she comes out for round 2, and she clips Debby across the face with a left hook almost immediately, her glove glancing off Debby’s right cheek, the younger girl dropping back quickly, Reon closing in to punish her, but finding Debby more than capable of resisting her, and the American lands a nice left to Reon’s gut, discouraging her, and then a pair of good punches to the older babe’s ribs, and she’s clinching now to stop Debby hitting her again, the younger girl frustrated, but she can’t push Reon away, and the Japanese girl hangs on until the referee gets involved, clips Debby with a right cross, but then gets caught by a left jab, and stands completely still as Debby hits her twice more, Reon just taking the punches, then stepping back, strangely reluctant to fight back

Round 3
Debby can’t quite work out whether she hurt Reon or not in that closing movement, but she’s taking nothing for granted as she jabs the older girl nicely, up on her toes and moving well, outpacing Reon around the ring, and stinging her with her jab, the Japanese model bruising up around her right cheek from the constant smacking of leather on her skin, then she comes back, takes some more punches to her face, but lands to Debby’s body, doing what she can to soften up the American, and she does what she can to put her against the ropes, but Debby’s looking strong now, the extra poundage she’s able to keep on is really working for her, as she turns Reon, puts her against the ropes, and smacks her head from side to side with nice left and right hooks, rounding off a good round by hurting the older girl with a left uppercut, not a full one, but hard enough to stun the model

Round 4
It looks like Debby’s after the win now, the actress looking more and more at ease in the ring as she starts to move Reon backwards, but the Japanese girl hits her with a looping left hook over the top of her guard, which makes her stumble backwards, Reon grinning quietly, then hitting Debby again whilst she’s got her wounded, clipping the young babe’s face side to side, swinging in another left hook, this time to Debby’s tits, the American squealing a little from that, dropping her guard, and paying the penalty as Reon lays into her with heavy punches to her face, Debby in trouble, left and right hand punches zoning in on her cheeks, Debby trying to clinch, use her strength, whilst Reon continues to work on her inside the clinch, hitting her to the midsection and ribs as she tries to wear her down, but Debby’s still strong, and actually starts to hit Reon hard in the closing seconds, the older girl looking more likely to tire than her

Round 5
Reon seems recharged after resurgent performance in round 4, and she’s knocking Debby’s head back with some good punches as the fifth round begins, debby’s nose bleeding again after she takes a flurry of straight bangs to the centre of her face, Debby retaliating with a sweet pair of hooks to Reon’s body, the Japanese babe striving for an uppercut to really knock Debby out of her stride, but she’s not quite accurate enough, and the younger girl swats her ribs again with two right hooks, before landing a punishing left hook to Reon’s liver, making the older girl yelp loudly, back off and stagger, Debby wasting no time in following up, feints to hit Reon to her liver again, but hits her to her face instead, the Japanese girl not ready for that, and she goes down, scrambling on the canvas to get up, beating the count at 8, but looking as though she’s in agony, keeps her right glove down to protect her abdomen, and just about makes it through to the bell, Debby looking triumphant as she jigs back to her corner, tits bouncing

Round 6
The girls come out again, but Reon looks very laboured, and Debby’s letting ehr have it straight away, crashing three heavy punches into her face, two left hooks with a right cross sandwiched in between, and the referee might not let Reon take much more of this, Debby hitting her to the body again, and she folds over and drops to all fours, gasping for air, somehow getting up at 7, but her feet are no way steady, and that’s all the referee wants to see, as he stops the fight

Result: Debby Ryan stopped Reon Kadena in round 6

At last Debby has shown what a good boxer/fighter she can be, because Reon is no mug, and she just found herself outpunched and outclassed in that fight as Debby did a good job on her, the American looking happy, and, we hear, keen to step into the ring with Helen Flanagan – that’s a fight to savour, with those two racks pointing at each other.
