7 April 2020 Keeley Hawes vs Jessica Schwarz

Page history last edited by neon 3 years, 2 months ago

Celebrity boxing maybe came too late in the day for Keeley, who only had 5 fights, losing 4 of them, her only victory being against Sophie Ellis-Bextor way back when the BBU was formed, and she hasn’t raised a glove in anger since Liv Tyler hammered her senseless back in 2017, so why she’s decided to upset former bantamweight champion Jessica is anyone’s guess. However, she’s a popular girl and fight fans will be pleased to see her back in action against the German former champion who is wanting to halt a losing run, including two defeats by her hated rival, Alesha Dixon, the latest in just three rounds

Keeley is wearing a white leotard tonight, with Jessica in yellow vest and black knickers, and they’re set to go

Round 1
Keeley shocks Jessica as she makes an aggressive start, the girl still quick and mobile at 44, which is only a couple of years older than Jessica, but with a weak record in boxing, this is unexpected, as she hits the German’s body with a series of good punches, only for Jessica to strike back, finding Keeley’s face with her right cross, then with her left, and the Brit has to retreat and cover, Jessica grinning, punching her in the mouth again, but then having to take a sweet combination of three jabs and a right hook, as the taller girl shows some fight, and seems to have hurt Jessica, the German girl stepping backwards, Keeley swinging in a neat right hook to her body, and that certainly hurt her, because she whines and winces, but she still manages to hit Keeley back again, swatting the older girl’s head sideways with a left hook at the bell

Keeley looks pleased with herself, having shaded the opening round, but Jessica is reassuring her corner that she has the fight under control, and that she’s ready to take Keeley apart

Round 2
Keeley comes looking for Jessica in the opening moments, and finds her, but not in a good way, because it’s Jessica who’s landing punches, her gloves smacking hard into Keeley’s body, and she follows that by giving the Brit a left hook again, her punch smacking hard into Keeley’s cheek, sending her teetering sideways and backwards to the ropes, Jessica in no hurry, follows Keeley, then as she gets closer, thuds a few hefty punches into the older girl’s body, hurting her for sure, and a left hook to the jaw is enough to send Keeley to the canvas, where she lays, blood dribbling from her mouth, before she gets to her feet at 7, Jessica grinning as she just picks her off, landing punches around Keeley’s eyes and cheeks, not trying to knock her out, just making sure she won’t look too pretty for a few days

Round 3
Keeley’s been patched up as far as possible, but her face is looking bruised and sore, and a sharp left and right hook combination from Jessica messes her up some more, Keeley staggering and almost defenceless, backed into the ropes, but Jessica doesn’t seem to be in any hurry, drills a left hook into Keeley’s ribs, the taller girl doubled over by that, and Jessica simply cracks two more punches into her face to put her down again, Keeley on her back, rolling over, and bravely pushing herself up, again beating the count at 7, standing in front of Jessica, gloves guarding her face as best she can, so Jessica simply hits her to her body instead, Keeley’s arms drop, and Jessica knocks her back down with another right hook, the Brit still somehow finding the energy and guts to get back to her feet as the referee counts as far as 8, and she faces Jessica again, her cheeks red and bruised, Jessica once more thudding punches into her body to sap what little strength she’s got remaining

Round 4
Only stubbornness is keeping this fight alive, as Keeley gets up from her stool, still unsteady, both eyes partially closed, her face mis shapen from the battering she took in round 3, and Jessica doesn’t hold back, just wades into the older girl, and her blood’s flowing again, spraying each time the German hits her, and she hits her a lot! Jessica hits and hurts Keeley with a straight right to her belly, then stands her up with a left uppercut, lines her up, and knocks her out with a left uppercut, poor Keeley’s head bouncing on the canvas when she crashes down onto her back

Result: Jessica Schawarz knocked out Keeley Hawes in round 4

Jessica and her entourage enjoyed that success, particularly with Alesha Dixon watching, and the German leers at Alesha after the fight, challenging her to get in the ring there and then for a fight, whilst Keeley is being carried away from the area, thankfully conscious, but that may well be the end of her
