(Fight Club UK vs Girls Friday)

Intro:
A major fight for two of the undefeated fighters in the bantamweight division, Lacey Turner and Olympia Valance eye using the other as the stepping stone to a BBU title shot.

Lacey is 30 years old; she stands 5'3 and holds a record of 7 wins, all by knockout since she debuted in 2012.

Olympia is 26 years old; she stands 5'8 and holds a record of 8 wins, also all by knockout since she debuted in 2016.

The fighters were interviewed by Denise Van Outen before the fight at their gyms, with Lacey first asked about her opinions on the fight as she finished up sparring with Carly Cole.

"The past few years have been too slow for me, I have been after fights like this for a long time but all the old hag's that were around here stole the limelight, now this is my time" says Lacey with an angry look.

She relaxes as she continues "I'll admit that Olympia is going to be tough, she is like me in being undefeated, she hasn't had a taste of power like mine though, let's see how she handles that toned body of hers me ripping away at it" winking as she takes a drink.

The final question is about getting a shot at Doda, she answers "I'll be calling her out when I've dealt with Olympia, let's see how tough she really is"

Olympia is asked by Denise about Lacey as she sits on a weight bench, smiling as she shakes hands with the blonde before she speaks.

"Lacey is definitely a good fighter, she has proven to be tough to be and durable, I fancy the job" smiling as she flexes her arm to show why she feels up for beating Lacey.

"It helps I have the height over her, so it is all about me using my boxing skills to keep her back, hurt her and knock her out when I can" says a serious looking Olympia.

When asked about the bantamweight title, Olympia replies "bring it on! I don't care that Doda is a loud mouthed bytch, I want the title and I don't care who I have to beat for it"

Fight night; Lacey comes out with Katie Price beside her, she looks focused as she heads down to the ring, thudding her gloves together as she is probably thinking of how she is going to batter her opponent.

She is wearing a green sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, while her hair is up in a ponytail as she steps into the ring.

Lacey heads straight over to her corner, all business tonight to show how much tonight means for her, warming up by shadow boxing as Katie yells at her to prove herself to the world tonight.

Olympia now comes out with Sophia Bush and Eva Carneiro beside her, Olympia also looks all business as she heads to the ring.

She is wearing a baby blue sports bra, matching gloves, shoes and trunks, her hair is also in a ponytail as she gets into the ring.

A nod from both women as Olympia looks over at Lacey, then heads over to her corner so she can begin warming up, limbering up as Sophia tells her she is good enough to be the best.

The fighters come over to the ring center, tension is in the air as this feels like a big fight, even without a title on the line, one woman is going to lose her unbeaten run and the other could be next in line for a title shot.

When asked to touch gloves, they respectfully touch them up, knowing that they are in for a test as the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
As the bell rings both women come on strong; trading jabs as Olympia looks to establish her reach early on, Lacey though is showing she won't be kept back so easily.
Shown by her slipping under a jab to come inside to work the body, forcing Olympia to move backwards as Lacey comes on the front foot.
The Aussie catches Turner with a right cross to make her take a step back, allowing both women to reset and trade single punches.
Lacey though looks to have come out with more intensity, working her way back to the inside, where she lands an overhand right across the cheek of her taller opponent to push her onto her heels.
The older fighter has her head down as she drives her opponent towards the ropes, Olympia needing to show off nifty footwork to get out the firing line.
With the final part of the round finally seeing Olympia keep that distance after a stiff left/right combo snaps the head back of turning, allowing Olympia to move around the outside of the ring to work.
The round ends with no drama between the two women, Katie looking happy with Lacey, telling her to keep the pressure on when she gets in close.

Round 2:
Olympia looks to take the advantage early on, catching Lacey to her face with a two punch combination, then keeps on the move as she works at range.
That forces Lacey to move her upper body more, allowing her to dodge a straight to get in close to land an uppercut that knocks Valance to her heels.
The momentum all swings to Lacey as Olympia is kept behind her guard, not able to throw much as she is being driven around the ring by punches slamming off her gloves.
With Lacey dipping under an attempted right cross to slam a left hook to the ribs of Olympia, who groans out and is caught with two punches off her chin.
Olympia ends up on the ropes; where she fights hard to get herself off them, punches slamming off the others cheeks as the crowd gets the first fiery exchange between the fighters.
Lacey ducks down though to slam two body shots in, making Olympia gasp out as her body is being tested out by her smaller opponent.
The bell rings with Lacey nodding over at Katie, who gives a thumbs up as Lacey seems to have already worked out Olympia.

Round 3:
Understandably Lacey comes out confident, looking to stalk Olympia around the ring with her head dipped down.
But she isn't finding it that easy to get inside, being met with stiff single punches as Olympia moves around the English fighter.
When Lacey does get inside to work the body, Olympia closes up shop for a moment as she puts her guard up, allowing Turner to work away freely at her flanks.
Sophia yells at Olympia to fire back, making the Aussie nod as she gives Lacey a little nudge to the head, then lands a right across her face.
Now Olympia is in space; looking more active as she dances around Lacey, landing her punches to the top of Lacey's head to rattle her back.
Suddenly Lacey looks a little gun shy as Olympia has her pinned behind her guard in the dying seconds of the round.
The round ends with Olympia smiling for the first time probably from relief on finding getting on the scoreboard after two bad rounds.
Katie yells at Lacey not to be afraid of her opponent, with Lacey nodding as her face gets cleaned up by her coach, before her eyes lock onto her opponent.

Round 4:
Olympia starts off where she left off the last round, moving around her opponent as she digs punches through the mitts to her face.
Control has definitely went into the hands of Olympia as she keeps Lacey at range, throwing more combinations to really begin marking up the face of the smaller fighter.
With Lacey stuck behind her guard, frustration is clear to see on her face as Olympia is stopping her doing much more then land a few shots at a time.
Till Lacey comes under a right cross; unleashing her frustration on the body of Olympia as she forces her backwards for the first time this round.
But Olympia uses her left to create space, before drilling a straight off the top of Lacey's head to stop the advance and allow herself a chance to move back into range.
The bell rings soon enough with Olympia definitely looking warmed up now, as Lacey just stares hard at her before she returns to her corner.
Both corners wipe down their fighters, with the Fight Club corner more animated as Katie tells Lacey to get into gear before she's put out this fight on her arse.

Round 5:
Back out come the fighters with Olympia continuing to use her range, keeping Lacey back early on as the older fighter can't seem to match the footwork of her opponent.
So she has to time her attacks more carefully, as shown when she parries a straight punch and counters with a right to the body.
Moving to the inside; Lacey gets into the face of her opponent, forcing her to fight in tight, where Lacey seems to be the better due to her compact frame.
Olympia is forced behind her guard as Lacey catches her too cleanly up top for comfort, Olympia has to retreat back as Lacey keeps marching forwards.
The body of Olympia is a key target clearly for Lacey, who keeps working it when she gets a chance, to the delight of her coach as Olympia keeps groaning out.
Late in the round though Olympia pulls Lacey towards the ropes with her left, surprising her opponent as she lands two clean punches to her face.
Olympia comes on strong in the final part of the round, smashing her fists through the guard of Lacey, whose stuck on the ropes till the round ends not long later.
Even with the bad end to the round; this was a big round for Lacey as she sits on her stool, Katie works on reducing swelling around her cheeks but is full of praise for her earlier work.
Sophia meanwhile reminding Olympia to keep things at range, she cannot keep allowing Lacey to come inside as often to work.

Round 6:
The action starts near the ring center with both women letting their hands go more, confidence flowing through them both as Olympia drills some good shots to the face of Lacey, who in turn gets inside to work the body.
Lacey misses with a right to the body, opening herself up to a right hook across the top of her head that sends her stumbling a few steps to the side.
Suddenly there looks to be real danger for Lacey, Olympia comes on the front foot with two punches catching Lacey straight to the face, WITH A RIGHT HOOK SENDING HER TO HER SIDE!
The crowd look stunned as they stand to get a better look, 1...2...3.. Lacey turns to all fours and shakes her head, 4...5...6..before moving to the ropes, 7..
8.. Pulling herself to her feet to beat the count.
After being checked on; the referee let's Lacey continue, with Olympia looking to finish things as she comes on the attack.
Lacey forced to retreat and cover up as punches rain towards her face, till she's able to duck down to clinch up around the waist of her opponent.
The referee steps in to break them up, with Olympia straight on the attack when they are told to fight, Lacey just showing enough fight to keep things interesting for her this round.
As the bell rings though it's clear this is the biggest round of the fight so far, Olympia all smiles as she jogs over to her corner.
While Lacey shakes her head as she looks up at the ceiling, miffed that she got caught as Katie yells at her "what the f*** was that!" Before working on cleaning her fighter up ready to get back at it.

Round 7:
As expected Olympia comes charging out the blocks, looking to finish the night right here as she comes forwards with punches that rain off the gloves of Lacey.
Who is showing a good defence that is allowing only a few punches to land off her face, WITH THE SHOCK COMING AS SHE DIPS UNDER A RIGHT HOOK, BEFORE CATCHING OLYMPIA TO THE CHIN WITH AN UPPERCUT, SENDING HER TO HER BACKSIDE!
What a turnaround! Olympia looks stunned as she looks up at Lacey, 1...2...3...4.. The referee is counting and Olympia is busy shaking her head to clear cobwebs from it, 5...6...7.. She looks up at the referee before beginning to push herself up, 8... Beating the count with a little wobble of her legs.
The referee let's the fight continue to a loud roar as Lacey is now the one hunting down Olympia, who is throwing jabs more in a defensive manner as she retreats.
It isn't long though before Lacey gets in close by slipping under those jabs to bang in an overhand right, she begins opening up on Olympia with punches to the head and body that has the younger fighter groaning out loudly.
Olympia has to drag Lacey into a clinch, while it has mostly been fought in a respectful manner, tempers are rising in the clinch as Lacey tries to break free, leading to them grappling with each other.
The referee breaks them up after they fall into the ropes, eyes locked on the other with anger behind them, as they are told to fight each lands several good clean shots.
It's Lacey though who wins the exchange by slipping under a straight to work the body, driving Olympia to the ropes to a loud cheer from Katie.
The round ends with Lacey yelling out to her fans "I've got this!" Knowing that things have swung by under her control, with her fans beginning to chant her name.
Olympia heads back to her corner with a dark cloud seemingly over her head, Sophia giving her a pep talk as Eva works on cleaning her up, her body is marked up with red splotches, while there is some swelling on her cheeks now.

Round 8:
Lacey is now the one looking to end things, with both women landing stiff single punches as Olympia tries to get her range back.
It's Lacey though whose controlling the range at the moment, moving inside to work away to the body of Olympia, who can be seen breathing harder from the body assault.
When Olympia finds herself stuck in a corner, she quickly pulls Lacey into a clinch, with both snarling at the other as Lacey tries to shove her way free to do more damage.
The referee steps in though to split them apart, Olympia getting into space quickly, where she is able to get back on the move to catch Lacey coming in.
Back and forth the action goes, with Olympia being forced to the ropes by a determined Lacey, before she breaks free and starts landing shots to the face of Turner to make her left eye start to look puffy.
Lacey comes on strong in the final moments of the round, feint with a left so she can catch Olympia with a right to the side of her head.
Olympia is stuck on the defensive as Lacey knocks her back around the ring, till the bell rings with both women breathing hard while glistening under the lights of the arena.
The Fight Club corner is the one smiling more, knowing that Lacey has to be ahead, but still having to work as hard as the Girls Friday corner, both women know they've been in a fight, with more brutal action to come as they head towards the home stretch.

Round 9:
The early action is coming from Lacey one more, she is keeping Olympia backing up around the outside of the ring as she looks to close the distance.
When Lacey swings an overhand right though, Olympia leans out the way of it, countering with a right of her own that smacks into the eye of Turner.
Lacey cries out as she steps back; Olympia not needing an invitation to strike ploughs a straight into the face of her opponent, followed by a left cross.
Momentum has shifted once more, each time Lacey does get in tight to work, she is shoved back and Olympia starts snapping her head back.
A missed left cross by Lacey is punished by a right cross that opens up a cut above that swollen eye, Lacey cries out loud as she retreats back.
Olympia comes forwards though with her punches starting to break through the gloves of the English fighter, driving Lacey towards the ropes.
Where Lacey needs to clinch up; Olympia leans on her to keep the pressure on her, with the referee stepping in to pry them apart.
The round comes to a close with both women looking the other over, seeing all the red marks and in Lacey's case, the blood running down the left side of her face.
The Fight Club corner needing to work hard to stop the cut, the ringside doctor watches closely to see if it gets patched up enough to satisfy them.
Across the ring Olympia is sucking in air, Eva working to patch her up as Sophia tells her fighter she needs to find a way to end this, they don't have a clue who would win on a scorecard.

Round 10:
The fighters touch gloves as the bell rings to show respect, then they get down to business with both letting their hands go.
The crowd roar as the fighters seem to be leaving it all in this round, Lacey getting in close to slam a three punch combo into the face of Olympia, allowing her to back up the Aussie.
With Olympia clinching up with Lacey, both tiredly leaning on the other till the referee steps in to break them apart, with Olympia getting her space again to work.
Lacey looks to march back to the inside, she is met with a right on that cut eye though as Olympia sidesteps her.
Olympia lands a three punch combination of her own now to wobble Lacey, the EastEnders star is trying to retreat back as time ticks away, the Aussie though won't let her get far away.
Punches keep finding that left eye of Lacey, which now looks shut as Olympia keeps moving to that side now to hammer punches around the guard of Turner.
In the dying seconds of the round, Lacey misses with a left hook as she tries to catch out Olympia, INSTEAD SHE'S OPEN TO A RIGHT ACROSS HER TEMPLE, CAUSING HER LEGS TO GO FROM UNDER HER AS SHE COLLAPSES ON HER FRONT!
1...2...3.. The bell is about to ring but this being the 10th round, the bell can't save Lacey, 4...5...6 who is on all fours and looks to be trying to get up, 7...8... She is pushing up towards her feet, 9... Before she tumbles back down to her backside as her legs look made of jelly 10! She is counted out!

Winner Olympia Valance KO Round 10

After:
What a way to end the fight! Olympia falls to her knees as she is exhausted from this back and forth war, she is looking over at Lacey with definite respect in her eyes.

Lacey on the other hand looks glassy eyed; well the one good eye, the other eye is shut as she looks around in shock that she is on the canvas.

Katie looks like she wants to shout about this result, but as she looks over the wreckage of both women, she bites her tongue and focuses on getting Lacey back to her corner to be washed down and patched up.

While Sophia and Eva rush to do the same with Olympia, who doesn't look much a winner as she sheds tears of joy after overcoming by far her toughest challenge to date.

Once both women are cleaned up; they slowly head to the center of the ring with help from their coaches, the crowd stand to give both warriors a standing ovation, making them smile at the fans.

After Olympia is announced the victor; she makes sure to go over to Lacey, with both embracing as they show no hard feelings over tonights result.

Though Lacey can't help crying, her undefeated streak is over and maybe her chances at a title shot, with Olympia telling her "you'll go on another run quickly enough, I'll be waiting with the title for you when you do" making Lacey smile, especially as the crowd chant for a rematch.

Both joke that they are too sore to fight right now, maybe give it till next year before they decide to punish themselves by fighting other.

Katie helps Lacey out of the ring, with her fans chanting her name and even Olympia applauding her, Lacey thanks the fans as she fights back more tears, Katie telling her she earned those chants, next time the crowd will be like this when she wins the title.

Inside the ring; Sophia and Eva both give Olympia a hug, with Olympia having to tell them to loosen up as she hurts from head to toe, making all three smile.

Olympia shouts to the crowd "you can't hide forever Doda! I want the gold guys!" To a loud cheer from her supporters, she definitely has a claim now after this victory, though plenty of others will argue their case too.

As Olympia leaves the ring; Sophia helps her with Eva on the other side, Olympia is grinning all the way to the back, so proud of herself for overcoming Lacey tonight.

The big talking point for Denise Van Outen on commentator, after getting a look at the scorecards from the judges, all three had it 85 to 84 to Lacey going into that final round, that's how close things were, so a rematch somewhere down the road will probably get more steam now.
