(Girls Friday vs Lookout! Atlantic Boxing)

Intro:
The undefeated Olympia Valance heads to York Hall in London to take on the Billie Piper on the comeback of the former singer.

Olympia is 25 years old; she stands 5'8 and she holds an unbeaten record of 7 wins, all by knockout.

Billie is 36 years old; she stands 5'5 and holds a record of 6 wins, 3 by knockout and 11 defeats.

The fighters were interviewed by Denise before the fight, with Olympia asked about how she feels going into this bout.

Olympia smiles as she says "I'm in great shape, beating Michelle (Rodriguez) in my last fight feels like it has shown I can beat some of the best around"

When asked about Billie, she says "Melanie tells me she is a good person, I don't know her personally of course as she left the stable long before I got my place in it, this is just purely business to me and I won't give up my unbeaten run easily"

The final question is about Lacey Turner and rumours of a fight between the two, Olympia answers "I'd love to fight her, it all depends if she can win her fight, then we can talk face to face about us going at it"

Billie meanwhile is all smiles as she is asked what made her want to return to the ring, she replies "look anyone who knows me I have had a hard time lately, but I feel awesome now that is all behind me and I am ready to kick some arse"

The next question is about her opponent, Billie says "Olympia has certainly started like a house of fire, I'll give her credit for that but I think I can surprise her with my fists doing the talking on the night"

The final question is about if this is a one off; Billie smiles and says "I hope not, I'd like to get back in the ring to remind people I can box a little" winking at that part as she finishes "so the answers no for me but it depends if people want to fight me I guess"

Fight night; Olympia is out first with Taryn Terrell and Eva Carneiro by her sides as she heads down the aisle, all smiling as Olympia looks excited to be fighting tonight and in her mind adding another win to her list.

She is wearing a violet sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, while her hair is braided as she steps into the ring and jogs to her corner.

Now Billie comes out with Nicole Ritchie, she is looking excited too as she heads out down the aisle to the ring, waving to her fans who look excited to see her back in a BBU ring after 3 years out.

She is wearing a navy blue sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, while she has navy blue gloves with black thumbs, her blonde hair is in a ponytail as she climbs into the ring and hurries to her corner.

Soon enough they are brought to the center of the ring by the referee, where there doesn't seem to be any malice on either fighters part as they look at each other.

They happily touch gloves before turning to get back to their corners, once ready the bell is rung to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
The action starts with Olympia looking to push the pace early, hoping to use that ring rust of her opponent to her advantage as she moves and throws two or three punches at a time.
Billie looks to keep her guard tight, taking several shots to her face but blocking most as she looks to be sticking focused on defence for now.
As the Aussie shoves her to her face with a left and starts banging to the body, Billie throws back from her back foot to catch Olympia to the face to ward her back.
But the action is mostly coming from Olympia, who is keeping backing her opponent around the ring with her punches, not letting Billie do much in return.
Till late in the round Billie surprises people with her quickness, slipping under a straight and coming up with an overhand right, then a left cross follows.
The fighters go toe to toe to give the crowd a grandstand finish to the round, the bell rings and Olympia nods to show her respect to her opponent.
But it is clear as Olympia returns to her corner that round was hers, with Taryn telling her to keep the pace up and to push Billie back around the ring as she did this round.

Round 2:
The round starts similar to the opening round, Olympia is sticking to driving forwards, while Billie moves her head and upper body more to dodge.
The veteran dips under a left cross and comes in close to work the body, before moving back to range as Olympia misses again.
Billie reminding the crowd of her skills as she dodges and counters the exuberant Olympia, who is still landing some clean punches, but is getting caught out a lot more by the former Doctor Who star.
With Billie catching Olympia as she comes forwards with a straight punch and a left cross, allowing her to thud in two body shots before she gets nudged back.
Olympia manages to come on stronger as the round goes on with maybe that ring rust showing itself, the Neighbours star drilling a left/right combo straight into the face of her opponent.
With the bell ringing to end the round, this time Billie looks proud of herself as she heads to her corner, taking a breath as she sits on her stool.

Round 3:
This time Billie comes out quicker, that last round seems to have given her a jolt of confidence as she sticks to her boxing skills, surprising Olympia by outboxing her in the early going.
Till Olympia feints and smashes her right across the face of Billie, allowing her to drive the older fighter back towards the ropes with her punches piercing the guard.
Once Billie's back hits the ropes; she ducks under a right haymaker, Olympia looking to finish things too early and pays with a counter right to the body to make her cry out.
Billie moves out into the open after she lands another two punches up to the face of Olympia, who nods at Billie and advances as she looks to get back control of the action.
The Brit though makes it hard for her, dipping down and using her left to nudge Olympia back, Billie lands an overhand right to knock Olympia to her heels and drives her back towards the ropes.
Olympia looks as shocked as some in the crowd do, she is forced to cover up as Billie tries to smash her face in, before switching to the body of the younger woman to make her groan out.
The round ends with Billie shaking her right fist as if to say come on to herself as she jogs back to her corner, Nicole looking mighty impressed so far with her fighter, maybe already thinking of big names to pit against her.
Olympia meanwhile is being told off Taryn to move up a gear, the coach not happy that Olympia is being schooled so far in a supposed tune up fight.

Round 4:
Billie is now the one taking the fight to Olympia, leading to early quick fire exchanges between the women to get the crowd fired up.
The Brit slips under a right cross to move in close to continue testing those abs out of Valance, making her opponent retreat back.
When Billie tries to keep in close, she gets clipped around her ear with a right, then eats a left to her mouth as Olympia opens up a gap between them.
Now it's Olympia starting to dictate the pace, banging her punches straight into the face of Billie as she drives her towards a corner.
As Billie tries to dip down; she gets caught with an uppercut that straightens her up, a left hook knocks Piper into the corner.
The final moments of the round sees Olympia pin Billie to the corner behind her guard, with the bell ringing and now Billie nods at Olympia, who smiles as she heads to her stool.
Taryn nods at Olympia as she sits down, with Eva washing her down and Taryn tells her that this is what she wants to see.
In the Lookout corner; Nicole telling Billie that she's done well so far, but needs to find something to give her an edge in this contest.

Round 5:
Olympia is back on top in the early exchanges, leaning out the way of punches and countering herself now to keep Billie to the outside.
The younger fighter is starting to land more cleanly to the face of her opponent, with a right cutting across the lips of Piper, causing blood to trickle from the bottom lip of the Brit.
Who is covering up more tighter again, having to wait for chances to appear as Olympia slams her punches into the gloves of Billie.
A missed right by Olympia gives Billie the chance to land an uppercut of her own, pushing Olympia onto her heels and allowing Billie to drive her to the ropes.
Olympia finding herself under a barrage of punches late in the round, most slam off her gloves but several come around to bang into her cheeks.
Forcing Olympia to start fighting her way off the ropes, both score big punches across the others faces as they look to win the final exchange of the round.
As the round ends with both girls jokingly telling the other to hit harder as the referee stays close in case it turns into something more serious.
Instead both women sit on their stools knowing they both had moments, Billie looks to be starting to be breathing harder as she sits down and enjoys the cool sponge on her face.
Across the ring Olympia looks to be enjoying the challenge to the surprise Eva, Taryn on the other hand is telling her to be more merciless.

Round 6:
Both women start off trading stiff single punches, with Billie looking to move inside with more feints as she looks to catch out the younger fighter.
But as Billie tries to move in close, she is clearly slowing down and allowing Olympia to counter punch her more easily.
With the Aussie punishing her for a missed right body shot with a left across the top of her head, followed by a straight that knocks her head back.
Billie is able to dodge a right aimed at her head and land a right to the body, with a left to the side of Olympia's face to knock her back a step.
Her drive though is halted by a nudge of the left hand from Olympia, with a right banging into the bloody lips of Piper to make her cry out.
Olympia starts targeting those lips more, making Billie wince with each punch and begin to go more on the defensive.
Giving more freedom for Olympia to pick her punches, feinting with a left up top before slamming a right into the gut of Billie to make her gasp and step back.
The round ends with Olympia on top this time, giving her something to smile about as sweat drips off her and she is starting to feel the fight now, this starting to become one of her longest fights.
Billie gets her lips worked on while she sucks in air, Nicole is telling her to dig deep as Billie nods and bumps a fist with her coach to show she is game to continue.

Round 7:
Billie is looking to press Olympia more from the opening bell, with both women landing cleanly with hard shots through the others mitts.
The Brit seems to be after slugging it out with Olympia, maybe sensing her stamina reserves are too low to conceive winning on points.
But she hasn't the quick footwork to match Olympia's anymore, leading to her getting smacked with some brutal shots that show off her toughness to take them.
A three punch combination knocks Billie's head back, her lips bleeding more profusely as her guard is starting to become too open.
Olympia coming on much more stronger of the two fighters as she keeps catching Billie straight to her face to start swelling her cheeks up.
A missed right hook by Billie leaves her open to a left across her chin, it wobbles Billie and the crowd stand thinking the end is coming.
Billie driving to the ropes as the Aussie looks to batter her into submission or out cold, neither happens though as the bell rings to end the round to save Billie from doom.
Though she looks understandably worse for wear as she heads back to her corner, sitting on her stool and leaning onto the turnbuckles, Nicole works on getting Billie ready for the next round as she knows she won't quit.
Olympia meanwhile takes a deep breath, jokingly asking Taryn "is this what the late rounds always feel like?" With Taryn telling to focus on finishing this.

Round 8:
While Billie does head out to fight, it is clear that she isn't in a good way, Olympia able to smack Billie freely through her gloves to knock her head back.
As Billie misses with a right cross; Olympia punishes her with a right across her face, THAT WOBBLES BILLIE AND THE FOLLOW UP THREE PUNCHES KNOCK BILLIE TO HER BACK!
Olympia roars as she heads to a neutral corner, 1...2...3 Billie stares up at the lights, her chest heaving up and down as she sucks in air, 4...5...6 she turns to her side 7...8 as she tries to beat the count, 9... But she is moving too slow as her body just won't respond how she wants, 10 ending up being counted out on all fours!

Winner Olympia Valance KO Round 8

After:
Olympia is quick after the bell rings to go check on Billie, kneeling down as Billie stares up at her and the two have a chat on how tired they both are.

After a minute of talking, Olympia takes her gloves off and helps up Billie, with the crowd applauding them for the great effort they showed tonight.

Olympia raises the hand of Billie in a great sign of respect, with Billie looking teary eyed as she thanks the crowd and Olympia for their appreciation.

Both women return to their corners and look happy to have a seat and a drink, with their coaches giving them praise.

Though Taryn doesn't look too impressed as Denise points out that this was supposed to be a statement fight for Olympia, instead it was a much tougher prospect with some questions being asked if a Billie had no ring rust would she have won?

Well all that matters for now is that both women come to the ring center for the final result to be announced, Olympia not overly celebrating as she gets her hand raised by the referee.

Billie claps for her and is there straight away to shake the hand of Olympia when she can, both discussing a possible rematch down the line as they smile at the prospect of a round 2.

But as Billie leaves, she has to get some more milage first to get into ring shape, tonight though can be seen as a big step forwards as she looked great in spells and matched Olympia physically.

While Olympia will be watching the Lacey Turner vs Brooke Vincent fight next, hoping Lacey wins for a big undefeated battle that could be her ticket to a title shot next year.

Right now it is about celebrating with her coaching team, who hug her and all smiles from the Girls Friday camp after this win.

They leave the ring together with Olympia high fiving fans as she heads to the back, hoping 2019 will be her year for winning gold.
