BEFORE: There's a reason why The Bondi Babes manager Kylie Minogue is on hand at the Bondi Beach of all places as the stable seeks immediate flyweight upgrade which links Leah Perkins - and her sister Mimi - with a high-profile opportunity sooner rather than later. Green & Gold magazine's Sarah Cumming claims the Perkins siblings are too big to remain on the free market for too long and booking an experienced Sylvie Meis as tonight's opponent serves a purpose indeed. If Leah wants to become a true elite player in BBU and ACB she needs to take care of dangerous gatekeepers like Meis!

The Dutch lingerie models tells Sarah she's got another beach boxing bout versus Lara Bingle lined up later this month and yeah, the financial bonus is great too! "Leah is such a cutie but I hope to postpone her plans a little. I know Kylie want to sign her like right now but I'm here to win! The kid will have to earn that contract!" (winks).

Leah Perkins wears a white bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Sylvie Meis wears a floral-themed bandeau bikini with black trim & purple gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a curled ponytail. Both women are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Leah jumps into an early jabbing drive but the Dutch veteran counters her over the top and shows impressive execution to stick several crisp shots into the brunette's face. Leah dances around on her toes but still struggles to escape the head-hunting attack and stumbles to the side which allows Sylvie to cash in with more punches straight up the middle. She tags the Aussie stunner on the chin and pummels her onto the ropes where Leah refuses to clinch the blonde but her response fails to find the target and Meis keeps lashing out at her instead. Perkins slumps behind some loud spasms come the final minute and that makes Kylie Minogue upset as the Dutch veteran remains on top for remainder of the round and signs off her dominance with a scything series on the exposed ribcage.

Round 2:
Sylvie resumes the supreme jabbing efforts and shows no intentions to slow down as she's paired versus a much younger girl who should have the physical edge in later rounds. So all these early attacks suit the winning tactics well and Leah just has to bail out into mid-range when she soaks up more pesky shots into her pretty little face! Ugh! Meis bends her sideways with a cruel hook on the ear and clatters into her ribcage again which sends the local favorite onto the ropes where she struggles to mount a counter-punching response. She clips the blonde's chin here and there but succumbs to the jabbing pressure and ends the round buried behind a desperate earmuff. Huh! Even Sarah Cumming in the booth sounds upset as Leah kicks the sand in pure frustration during the interval.

Round 3:
Another jabbing haze leaves Perkins flat-footed early in the third and Meis drills her rack just to stuff the youngster on the heels in the center of the ring. Leah wobbles forward with a whimper and gets caught flush on the jaw - that shot spells instant disaster and Sylvie carries another left hook on the ear moments later to SEND PERKINS CRASHING DOWN ON HER KNEES moments later. Booyah! Meis kicks sand into Leah's face and the Aussie babe soaks up the full eight count before getting up and delaying the action by dusting her bikini top from the sand... Sylvie scampers across the loose surface and resumes the outright pounding but she can't catch the quickly retreating brunette with a proper haymaker and has to settle for a fruitless hassle down the stretch. Leah defaults the artistic impression value but survives through supreme footwork alas Kylie Minogue shakes her head in disgust at the bell. Wasn't Leah supposed to be the better of the two sisters anyway?

Round 4:
Sylvie gets carries away with the jabbing menace before dropping some bombs into Leah's exposed midriff. However the hitherto subdued local favorite responds with a proper left/right drive over the top and begins to stack up punches into the Meis' face during a hectic speedo exchange in the opening minute. Sylvie refuses to back off and wants to stomp Leah face-down on the sand again but begins to leak more body shots down the stretch and loses her aggressive edge while Perkins outworks her in the proverbial phone booth. She also shows some core strenght and outmuscles the Dutch model out of a clinching stalemate before driving a brutal belting shot into her navel right at the bell.

Round 5:
Leah secures a better start punching the blonde to the body while Sylvie tries to resume the head-hunting success but lacks a proper big punch to halt the Aussie charge. Leah slips through with more belting shots to stuff the Dutch woman on her heels and just powers ahead in style before trapping the older foe in a slugging vacuum. Meis tries to swing back but bounces off the top of Leah's forehead and eats a rare uppercut blast on the chin as Perkins finds her groove for good and dominates the action during the second minute. She leaves Sylvie slicing thin air and thumps her butt-in-ropes thereafter as she drives her body shots deep into the blonde's flesh. Meis gets crippled into spasms along the ropes and the ref allows a couple of brutal shots to punish her even after the bell.

Round 6:
Stamina becomes a problem for the older model who just can't escape Leah's slugging heat early in the sixth and the local starlet has a field day dissecting the high guard during a largely one-sided opening minute. A couple of brutal shots on the chin spin the blonde sideways and she just can't clinch the rampant brunette here as Leah tears a small gash across her nasal ridge moments later. Ugh! Sylvie wobbles forward with a whimper and eats a quick uppercut on the jaw again... she drops her arms in a sudden moment of shock and Leah is right there to SMOKE her with a right piledriver on the nose... DOWN GOES MEIS!!! The proud Dutch model crashes flat on her back and can only sit up at six as the ref performs an ACB-friendly quick count. She still beats it with hardly any room to spare but Kylie Minogue smells blood over at the sidelines: "C'mon, Leah! Blow this bytch UP!!!", Sylvie looks over Leah's shoulder to give the singer a proper death stare but Perkins quickly bulldozes her onto the turnbuckle and destroys the high guard with powerful striking. Sylvie just soaks up relentless abuse and doesn't fire back at all slumping to her knees in the middle of this brutal punching haze!!! Oh yes, she's totally DONE here!!! KO6 Leah Perkins as ref doesn't even bother with the count.

AFTER: Sylvie slumps face-down at the sand and Leah plants her foot on her back to pose for the cameras! She blows a couple of kisses and stares down Kylie Minogue who nods back in approval. Sarah Cumming believes this victory more or less secures Leah's future with the Bondi Babes and the only issue is whether Leah brings her sister Mimi in tow? We're about to witness another set of Bondi beach boxing later this month and Mimi should be present there to actually fight her way into a big money contract. And she's not gonna deal with Leah's leftovers as Sylvie is still tabbed to fight Lara Bingle instead. Watch this space!
