Damaris looked good in FCBA before Beevers Babes US stable closed, notably thrashing Gemma Atkinson twice, making the former champion kneel and kiss her feet.

So what chance does the ageing Nicola McLean have? Probably not much, but at least she’s turned up!

Damaris is wearing her leather one-piece outfit tonight, with Nicola in a red bikini, and she looks a little apprehensive as the bigger, younger girl warms up

Round 1
Nicola is a brave girl, and she’s taking on Damaris at close quarters as the fight starts, surprising the American with some good work inside, and using her experience to cuff Damaris’ ribs, but that’s not worrying the youngster, who simply pushes Nicola backwards and flays her with three hard right hand shots to her face, Nicola sent backwards quickly, Damaris standing back, grinning slightly as she watches Nicola cover up, then come towards her again, which the American wants, and she just lays into Nicola, ripping the blonde up with massive shots to her ribs and gut, the veteran screaming in pain, and she looks easy meat for Damaris now, who gives her a sweet one-two to her already reddened face, then another to the belly, Nicola bravely staying on her feet, but the closing seconds are painful for her as Damaris just pins her in a neutral corner and beats her up, her gloves just thudding into Nicola’s face, and when the bell rings it’s clear that this won’t last much longer, Nicola’s left eye pretty much shut, her nose streaming blood

Round 2
Frankie’s Foxes new trainer, Kelly Rowland, wants to stop this fight, but Nicola won’t have it, and she gets to her feet for the second round, even though she’s taken a horrid hammering so far, and she’s getting more of the same, as Damaris hits her to send her backwards to her own corner post, left jabs landing and jolting Nicola’s head backwards, then a right hook, and that’s almost taken the blonde’s head off, Damaris clearly thinking about hitting her again, but she’s not that cruel, and lets Nicola flop against the ropes then down to the canvas – and there’s no need for a count, because she’s unconscious!

Result: Damaris Lewis knocked out Nicola McLean in round 2

Damaris has so much power that many of the BBU welterweights will be unwilling to fight her, and Catherine Tyldesley will not be happy to learn that Damaris wants to fight her next
