BEFORE:
During the press conference, Mathilde dismisses the newcomer as yet another Dutch blonde wannabe, but the truth is nobody knows what Marloes Horst brings to the table besides smokin’ good looks and a ton of experience on the fashion runways.

“It’s understandable. Mathilde feels threatened,” Marloes smiles from the press table with a nod of her head. “I’ve heard alot about the FCBA and wanted to see what the fuss was about. To be honest, I’m a little disappointed that the first girl who showed an interest in fighting me was Mathilde.”

“What do you mean by that, bitch?” Mathilde replies from the other end of the table, raising her voice and glancing over. “I hope you’re still that cocky after I start punching your face tonight. I’m taller, younger, and the one with more experience. I don’t see how tonight’s result will go any other way.”

Ladies size each other up at the podium, with Mathilde right about being two inches taller but other than that, both women are around the same build. They pose with their noses almost touching, the Dutch blonde clearly showing plenty of confidence with that smirk of hers, especially for someone who’s completely green to the ring.

Later, in the arena itself, Mathilde wears a dull orange bikini, brunette hair tied up high. Marloes goes for a clean white bikini, doing the same with her dirty blonde hair. Referee waves a hand and HERE we go with ten rounds of Welterweight action!

ROUND 1: 
Mathilde starts off strong, bullying the newcomer with plenty of punches to her face. Marloes still settling in, blocking lots of blows with her arms but just too green to intercept them all, letting out frequent grunts as her face takes punishment. Surprisingly however, Marloes doesn’t seem fazed by the growing, throbbing pain in her nostrils, staying her ground even when Mathilde expected her to fall back from the aggression. Then, the blonde scores with a straight hand of her own straight into the lips, starting a wild exchange of rapid blows in the middle of the ring. Gohler takes it by the end, of course, but she can’t be too happy with the newcomer’s continued confidence, being able to stand and bang with her till the last second.

ROUND 2: 
More of the same as Mathilde doesn’t let up her aggression, continues to stun Marloes to the face and body as the blonde looks like a lost babe in the woods early on. Horst demonstrates her power on occasion, however, blasting hooks into Mathilde’s guard whenever the Siren ain’t paying attention, which sends the Siren stumbling off a few steps. Gohler however is stubborn as usual, keeps charging back into the fray and refusing to give any ground, takes another stiff punt to her body for her efforts, as Marloes earns a dull groan from her lips and some success at last. Last few seconds on the clock and Gohler’s thrown into further rage, continues targeting the pretty girl’s cheek and gets her own payback when she draws a surface gash in the final seconds from the repeated jabs thrown at her. For the first time, Marloes looks a little worried, a drip of red flowing down the side of her face, but the referee checks on the damage back in corner and waves it off as superficial. Marloes of course can’t be too happy with having her model looks deformed like that, though Mathilde can’t keep that smirk off her own face in the opposite corner.

ROUND 3:
Gohler certainly looks like hot stuff thus far, but we wouldn’t have expected anything else from facing off against a brand new rookie. Third round’s hopefully the charm as the Siren rushes in to try and finish the new girl off. But Marloes is proving resilient, grunting from the repeated attacks but covering up a whole lot more. She absorbs jabs to her arms and body whilst taking multiple steps backwards to get away. Gohler’s punches however not doing a whole lot of damage, at least by comparison, as Marloes stands her ground in the middle minute and suddenly punts a neat hook clean into her face, taking the stunned moment of silence to land more blows on Gohler’s body. Gohler grunting, gets her attack vector blunted all of a sudden when she’s stunned to one spot, both arms covering her body area as Marloes halts the bleeding for her corner.

ROUND 4:
Resurgence from Horst as she surprises Mathilde with another flurry to the face early on, and Gohler’s so surprised that all her strategy goes out the window for the next minute or so, as both ladies get in close and tangle near the ropes, sticking gloves up into each other’s chins and bodies. Gohler growling amidst the groans, doing her best to beat the blonde’s assault back, but Marloes plenty emboldened herself, keeps storming after the Danish model with steady thudding combos to her arms before sinking her mitts into her lean side and ribs. Mathilde huffing as the wind is repeatedly knocked out of her lungs, gasps one more time when her chest takes a lasting swipe from the over-aggressive blonde, who finally takes a round for herself as she smirks back to corner!

ROUND 5:
Gohler’s still drawing energy from her reserves but even she has to realise she’s hitting a brick wall here with her repeated charges. Another rapid advance and more flurries prove ineffective when Marloes dips her head low and PLOWS a rising hook into her cheek, drawing a low groan from Gohler, who’s forced to concede the exchange and retreat into the shadows. Marloes goes after her, headhunting without respite, sticking long jabs into the Siren’s face till Gohler’s pushed into the ropes and forced to cover up! Horst storms in without hesitation, bashing a one-two to the lean tummy before Mathilde manages to wrap up with her in a desperate clinch. The two women continue to exchange body blows whilst pinned on the ropes, using elbows shoved into the chest before mutual stuffing of gloves into the belly till the bell rings.

ROUND 6:
Mathilde’s still stomping forward, albeit breathing a little harder now, as she aims a straight cross to the head as Marloes goes south with her attacks. Battle of attrition as these two are simply refusing to back down in the face of aggression, and it becomes a matter of which girl can take more pain here. Unfortunately, Gohler gets rocked to her body again with a low-hanging hook, drawing a deep groan from her lips. Gohler clutching at her body as her lips suck in air through gritted teeth. No rest for the wicked as Marloes wades in fast, using her forearms to body up with Gohler before plunging more thick gloves into the pit of her belly, battering rams knocking down the gates as they fold Gohler in half, FINALLY sending the poor woman DOWN to her knees! Those gut-shots finally add up, Mathilde’s face twisted in agony as she hugs her body on her knees, rocking back-and-forth, even as the referee starts the count! Marloes of course with her first KNOCKDOWN ever of her career, and what an impressive way to start things off. She doesn’t even look troubled when Gohler stands back up to shaky feet by the count of 8, the Siren still grimacing as she struggles to maintain her balance on tender legs. Two minutes left on the clock and it’s Horst’s turn to charge at the bell! Gohler stuck on the ropes, another guttural groan as an uppercut to the midsection bowls her over, the blonde keeping her fists low, elbows tucked in as she buries punches in and out, in and out. Gohler barely fighting back at this point, both arms hoisted over her assailant’s shoulders, her eyes squeezed shut, lips parted on top of blonde hair as Marloes is given free reign to the rest of her body! FINALLY the ref has seen enough! He steps in and pulls the newcomer off her prey! Gohler simply SLIDES down the ropes and curls up into a shaking ball!! It’s over!!

Official Decision:: Marloes Horst defeats Mathilde Gohler via TKO6 in upset fashion!!!

AFTER:
What a debut for Ms Horst as she proves that certainly anyone can enter the ring and make a name for herself, at any time! She breaks into a smile, raising a hand high to the crowd then making her way to her corner, bare turns to relish the look of anguish on Mathilde’s face.

Gohler got schooled today, there’s no doubt about that, even as the medics and SIR staff come flooding into the ring to check on her emotional as well as physical well-being.

“I think I like this boxing thing,” Marloes later smirks to reporters. “You know, some other girls are just not cut out for this, as I proved tonight. Whenever Gohler’s picked herself off the ground, I wouldn’t mind kicking her ass again.”
