Raffaella Modugno vs Peta Todd

BEFORE: Some welterweights are duking it out on Knowlesey's special tournament already however there's always room for more talent north side of 130 lbs as former Miss Curvy Italia Raffaella Modugno makes her BBU entrance tonight and vows to steal the headlines straight away. She's come a long way since starring in Pitbull & Kesha "Timber" video and apparently both Manuela Arcuri and Elena Santarelli refused to fight her without a special financial bonus despite being offered the first shot at the rookie.

One woman who had no objections to fight Modugno is cycling WAG Peta Todd - a well known fixture on the PageThrees roster. Her overall record might be dismal but she remains a fan favorite across UK and BBU TV's Kate Abdo claims a match-up between two buxom brunettes is never a bad idea for a random Monday night at the end of November! We're inside a private club in East London with limited sponsors in attendance!

Raffaella Modugno wears a white bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair in loose curls. Peta Todd wears a light blue bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair loose & straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
One could expect Raffaella to show her Mediterranean temper quickly but it's actually the British glamour model who powers ahead with some quick jabs as she splits the Italian's high guard and finds herself in a rare commanding position inside the opening minute. She lands several crisp shots into Raffaella's face before a looping cross on the mouth wobbles the younger brunette back. Peta almost pauses in her attack looking surprised by the lack of response however she regrets that brief lapse of concentration when Modugno whacks her over the top to finally produce some offensive numbers. Both women trade punches in mid-distance and while Raffaella almost pulls even with the Londoner, she gets thumped across the nose late and wobbles to the side. Don't look now but it's 10-9 Todd and PageThrees manager Samantha Fox is extremely pleased about it!

Round 2:
More early success for Peta who beats the newcomer to the initial punch and rattles Raffaella with a couple of hooks across the nose. The Italian model struggles to stop Peta's attacks but refuses to back off which only extends her problems down the stretch. She looks very hittable at this stage and Peta almost can't believe how she's able to land her combos in speed dial fashion. She glues Modugno to the spot and neutralizes her counter-punching efforts by blasting more leather into her face. Raffaella shakes off the aggressive haze and actually escapes getting trapped on the ropes but she's not winning any style points for clinching the British WAG late here either. Bell.

Round 3:
Peta gets even more aggressive now but bounces off the Italian's forearms before a looping cross nails her on the mouth and wobbles to her heels. She still swings back from there only to shoot above Modugno's head and there's no mercy from the newcomer who blasts her on the chin with a thundering hook. Raffaella finally cashes in with a spirited head-hunting effort and drops Todd behind a desperate earmuff. Sam Fox urges the fellow Brit to fire back in slugging fashion but Modugno keeps her honest with more lithe hooks that snap Peta's head back; she eventually wilts under the barrage and gets pushed back onto the ropes where the Italian thumps her on the huge rack just to test out new waters. Peta clinches her to see out the clock but she's clearly let the Italian back into this bout.

Round 4:
More slugging pressure from Modugno who seems to have realized that Peta doesn't like to get hit in heads up fashion. She dominates the initial drive despite Peta's best efforts and bends the Brit to the side when she tags her on the temple a couple of times. Peta is forced to swing from the back foot before she eats more uppercuts on the chest in the proverbial phone booth. Raffaella really enjoys the jug muggin' action and seeths into Peta's ear as both women clash boobs again; Modugno turns her onto the turnbuckle and drops more harpoons on the exposed breadbasket as well which allows her to keep the older brunette under the cosh and win the round outright.

Round 5:
Peta lands the early combo in the rookie's face but gets picked over the top regardless and wobbles to her heels once the fellow brunette drives her mitts into her mouth. Raffaella is able to put major weight behind those efforts and it doesn't take a lot to break Peta's resistance anyway as she gets clobbered onto the ropes and slumps behind a tight earmuff. Raffaella thumps her from both flanks and finds the opening below the elbows to cripples the Brit into loud spasms. The Italian refuses to take her foot off the gas and keeps pounding away to the body as Todd tries to clinch her foe but only gets sunk even lower on her knees. She opens up with a desperate heave but skims off Modugno's shoulder and gets whacked on the chin with a nasty double instead. Ugh! The bell saves the subdued Londoner from more trouble at the last moment and coach Sam Fox is really looking worried out there.

Round 6:
Peta tries to land some quick jabs into Raffaella's face but gets outworked in close range and leaks another body assault that leaves her exposed for a nasty follow through with the Italian thumping her on the liver area. Ugh! Peta stumbles to the side and manages to clinch the younger model at first but then gets pushed onto the ropes where Modugno nails her across the rack and carries a left/right uppercut combo on the chin. Peta slumps into more spasms and gets blasted on the right brow ridge before Raffaella plugs a left hand into the solar plexus as well.... DOWN GOES TODD!!! The buxom Londoner finally crumbles under the Italian's attacks but still looks game enough when she beats the slowish count at seven. However she doesn't match Modugno's intensity from this point and gets clobbered into a standstill as the Italian simply buries her underneath another speedo blast. Uh-oh! Peta's lips begin to leak blood as Raffaella nails her from both flanks and spins onto the turnbuckle where she adds a belting left hook on the liver that PUTS THE BRITISH LASS DOWN ON HER KNEES again!!! And this time Peta doesn't get up as she descends into loud spasms instead. KO6 Raffaella Modugno!!!

AFTER: No regrets about this one as Raffaella stands tall on her BBU debut that didn't exactly blow the much-maligned Peta Todd away. However the lanky Italian got the job done in the end and enjoys a well-deserved glass of wine - that turns into a full bottle few minutes later - while the PageThrees attend to Peta's lip wounds. The private suitors offer cash straight from their American Express accounts and BBU TV's Kate Abdo claims one has to really earn their spot for the extra payoff: "This is Gaslight Club on steroids. They leave obnoxious brats like Samia Ghadie or Bianca Gascoigne behind! Then again I hear Raffaella will fight Alex Curran really soon next! Our wonderful sponsors want to see the Mersey blonde in the ring... but maybe not in winning form? Who knows? Money rains in East London and its' not about to stop anytime soon!"
