(Lioness Club vs Frankie's Foxes)
(10-18, 10 KO vs 5-1, 5 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: The pieces begin to fall into places when it comes to bantamweight title picture and Lioness Club plans to take out one of Dorota Rabczewska's potential rivals tonight. Helen George made it very clear she wants a shot at the straps soon and secured a good win over another former Girl Aloud Nicola Roberts last November only to be required to double down on that result vs Kimberley Walsh. And that's only a dress rehearsal of sorts since Marti's Maulers' Shona McGarty is allegedy in direct competition with George for a right to face Rabczewska within the foreseeable future.

BBU TV's Charlie Webster believes the artistic value of tonight's performance is as important as the actual result so George faces a challenge to truly dismantle Walsh and justify the championship eliminator opportunity. In fact Shona McGarty has made the trip to North London and is seen hugging the front seats along with Foxes' manager Frankie Cocozza which is awkward to say the very least. But the official eliminator contract hasn't been signed yet and if Walsh somehow beats George tonight maybe there's nothing to be signed after all?

Kimberley Walsh wears a red sports bra, black hip-huggers and white gloves. Light brown hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Helen George wears a pink sports bra, white hip-huggers and black gloves. Long blonde hair wrapped in a loose bun at the back of her head. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Despite Kimberley's best efforts in the early stages, she gets picked off repeatedly up the middle as Helen thrives on her elite status to reel the singer backwards when she connects with a brutal hooking combo and powers ahead through sheer boxing wrath. She barks in her attempts to dominate the action from the opening bell and enforces the slugging route that Kimberley can barely match in the first half of the round. However when a clubbing hook nails her on the nose, she has to back off and seek respite in mid-range. That's a bad tactical choice since it fuels the blonde's efforts which indeed find the target down the stretch. Walsh tries to dance on her toes but soon gets pinned into the turnbuckle where George applies a gut-checking pressure to fold the Girls Aloud veteran into a desperate earmuff come the final stretch. There's no way Kimba can escape the blonde's attacks though so it's no wonder the KO Club audience sounds pretty upset when the bell interrupts the action.

Round 2:
More slugging action early in the second as Kimberley tries to smack the actress with a hooking drive but eats a belting shot on the tummy in response and wobbles into an uppercut menace that allows George to resume control. The Foxes gal barks with almost every shot she lands on target and there are plenty of those as Kimberley's guard collapses quickly and sends her into another hectic retreat. Helen begins to tease the reeling opponent which earns her a jeering response from the audience while Frankie C. is having a good laugh about it down in the stands. Walsh eventually bites on the taunting and leaps into a hooking rally that George weaves away from and DROPS the singer with a brutal left hook on the eye herself. Uh! Kimba's butt goes south and the gravity does the rest... DOWN SHE GOES!!! Huh! Even Nicola Roberts would be ashamed of that resistance but the count is very slow to allow the Bradford singer to get up well inside the mark. Cue in more taunts from the slightly obnoxious blonde who hesitates to pull the trigger as if she wants to toy with the embattled foe a little longer. Walsh keeps reeling around the ring in the final minute though and the jeering response only fuels Helen's behaviour as she asks the ref can she bypass the McGarty eliminator and fight Doda for the title like tonight?

Round 3:
There's some pride left in the former Girl Aloud as Kimberley tries to somehow upset the odds but she walks into a jabbing buzzsaw that reels her on the heels again before Helen WHACKS her over the top to set up a head-hunting series which drops the older girl back to the ropes. Kimberley gets glued to the spot and simply can't escape the heat as Helen cranks it up until she rocks the singer's head back & forth to slump her into loud spasms. Ugh! A vicious left hook bends Walsh to the side moments before an uppercut from the other side connects with the jaw and SENDS THE ACHING BRUNETTE TUMBLING DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE!!! Shona McGarty joins the jeering concert as Helen shakes her glove it delight and begins to mock the crowd during the otherwise slowish count. It's another effort to save Kimberley's pride here but she barely makes it upright at ten and slumps against the ropes which prompts the ref to WAVE THE BOUT OFF!!! Charlie Webster agrees with the verdict and maybe the Lionesses should have granted Helen that eliminator already rather than waste whatever's left from Kimberley's gatepeeking status? TKO3 Helen George!!!

AFTER: It's a bad look for the Girls Aloud veteran who probably drops behind Nicola Roberts on the pecking order - if she wasn't there already. However she's spared any post-fight trouble since Helen is zoomed on Shona McGarty and taunts her to leave her seat and join her in the center of the ring where they almost clash horns prematurely. Shona tries not to blow her fuse since Helen still has her mitts on and it's not like she had to grind it out here vs Walsh either. Former Lioness Club stalwart Emma Bunton has joined the Maulers' coaching staff lately so there's little more to this staredown than usual and even the crowd wishes to see this eliminator happen in North London where 'Queen Bytch' Doda could oversee the minnows scrambling for her attention. It's still few weeks away but don't sleep on these contenders as Rabczewska's reign could be short-lived if either Shona or Helen bring their 'A' game to the table during the winter/spring period.

Final result: Helen George def. Kimberley Walsh TKO3.
