Intro:
We kick off tonights Contender Six action with Rose Byrne and Lottie Moss wanting to finish strong, we are in Wembley Stadium which will be home field advantage for Lottie.

Rose is 40 years old; she stands 5'6 ½, holding a record of 7 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 13 defeats.

Lottie is 22 years old; she stands 5'5 ½, holding a record of 4 wins, all coming by way of knockout, with 4 defeats.

While Rose is battling to be in second place after an impressive win over Lacey Turner in the last round, Lottie comes into this fight off the back of a win herself, will that help Lottie's confidence going into a hard fight or will she suffer at the hands of the Aussie fighter.

Both women are sitting on the BBU TV set after a weigh in that saw both looking relaxed in their bikinis, Rose coming in two pounds heavier of the two.

Sitting on stools with Denise Van Outen between them, both smile at the other as there seems no hate between the two women yet, excited it seems to get it on in a days time.

Rose is asked first about how she feels the tournament has went for her, she responds with "I think we can all agree I've turned some heads, people suspected that I was finished as a fighter, I have to thank my Foxfire stable for getting me back to this point where I feel I can challenge for titles"

Denise asks Lottie the same question, getting a markedly different answer, Lottie saying "I'd love to be able to say the same as Rose, I simply can't of course, I did win my last fight though so my confidence is back and I aim to give the crowd what they want by knocking out Rose" who laughs and nods at Lottie.

"I'll give you kid you have talent and guts, I don't understand honestly why you struggled for a win" Rose tells Lottie, who responds "that makes two of us" all three chuckling at that.

Lottie says "I have made mistakes and at this level you can't, it has been a harsh lesson; joking aside, I know I can beat you Rose in that ring" making things a little more tense.

Rose stands up as it looks like there might be some bother, she instead replies "you can beat me of course, I am not going to let you simply walk over me to further your career, I will beat you tomorrow for myself and my stable"

The two fighters come together and shake hands, they both look intense as they stare their opponent down, Denise standing close by in case there is trouble, they leave the set without incident after releasing the others hand.

Fight night, Rose is out first with coach Sophia Myles beside her, she waves to the fans who give the veteran respect by not booing her, applauding her as she jogs down the aisle.

The Aussie is wearing a green sports bra, matching trunks and shoes, gold gloves, while her brunette hair is tied back into a braid.

Stepping into the ring, Rose blows a few kisses to the crowd as a thank you for not getting on her back as the foreign fighter against the local favourite, she shadow boxes as she warms up in her corner.

Now out comes Lottie with her coach behind her, the crowd erupts as the youngster struts down the aisle damning attention like she is on a catwalk, arms out to her side as the fans chant her name.

The Brit is wearing a white sports bra, white trunks with "Moss" in gold letters, white shoes with gold toes, gold gloves and her blonde hair is tied into a braid.

Climbing through the ropes into her corner, Lottie cups her ears as she nods at the crowd, turning towards Rose as she goes through some punching drills to warm herself up.

After that is sorted out, the referee brings the fighters to the center of the ring, where they lock eyes as they get into the zone, seeing the other as someone to step on to bigger fights.

When they are told to touch gloves, they respectfully bump them together, jogging back to their corners with focused looks, the referee signals for the bell to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Both women are starting behind their jabs, circling as they test the others reflexes, Lottie showing off her movement to dodge when Rose goes for a jab/straight combo to her face.

The speed advantage of Lottie comes on show as she darts inside to land two body shots, followed by a straight to the face of her opponent, moving out the way of a right cross.

Lottie controlling the opening minute, getting caught coming in this time with a right to her cheek, a left cross smacks her on her jaw to turn her head.

Knowing she needs to keep on top of Moss, the Aussie steps inside with uppercuts flying, most find the gloves or forearms of Lottie as she covers up.

Shoving back Byrne to the outside, Lottie ducks under a left hook to slam a right into the abs of the brunette, just missing with an overhand left as she goes for a big hit to build on her success so far.

As they head into the final minute of the round, Rose times her attack better to get at Lottie, leaning out the way of a right cross, Rose pounds two straight punches into the youngsters face.

The round comes to a close with both women trading in tight, at the bell they nudge apart before jogging to their corners, a good strong round for Lottie to kick things off.

Round 2:
Looking to build off the last round, Lottie continues to move around side to side, darting inside to work before she starts getting pelted back, where she moves back to range.

The first minute sees Moss dictating the tempo, Rose wanting to cut off the ring, finding it hard though as Lottie is a slippery customer with her impressive footwork.

Finally Rose smartly catches out Lottie, feinting with her right to make Lottie move towards her left, she catches the blonde with a left cross/straight combo knocks back the head of Moss.

The crowd cheers as both women work in close, Rose uses her left forearm to nudge Lottie off balance, enough to land an uppercut that knocks Lottie onto her heels.

Backed into a corner, Lottie is covering up as Rose throws a flurry at her, most land on the guard of the Brit, but she is being kept under wraps right now.

Pulling Rose into a clinch, the "let's go Lottie!" Chants begin as the referee breaks the two fighters apart, the final moments of the round seeing both go toe to all the way up to the bell.

Which sees both nod to the other as they pass to go to their corners, Rose's aggression perfectly on show this round, looking like the equalizer she needs to Lottie's speed.

Round 3:
Coming out their corners with a small grin, both seem to be enjoying the test presented in front of them, trading stiff jabs to start as Rose is looking to close that gap again early.

She manages to get inside to land two body shots, taking a right to the side of her head, followed by a double jab straight onto her mouth as Lottie opens up a gap.

While Rose is having some success closing the distance to target the younger woman's body, she is taking clean shots to the top of her head to do so.

Lottie timing Rose coming in this time with a straight to her mouth, followed by a left/right cross combo to send sweat off the head of the veteran, making her back off now.

Showing a little more aggression herself, Lottie moves inside to land a left across the cheek of Rose, a right to the abs comes in as Moss begins to back up Rose along the ropes.

There's several fiery exchanges as Rose tries to fight her way back off the ropes, the volume of punches coming from Lottie are giving her trouble.

When the round ends Rose returns to her corner to be told off Sophia that she needs to make Lottie respect her presence in the ring, Rose nods as she knows she let Lottie bully her back.

Round 4:
Up on her toes as she moves around Rose, Lottie is doubling up her jab as she boxes around the veteran, throwing combos when she decides to move in closer.

Rose again is having trouble with the speed of Lottie, who is bashing in two and three punch combos to force back the brunette to the outside of the ring, making Rose grit her gumshield in frustration.

She won't be kept back too long it seems, Rose parries a straight aimed at her head to land a right of her own to the mouth of Lottie, a left cross lands under the ribs of the blonde.

Who is then hit with multiple uppercuts to her body, Rose has her head right under the chin of Moss, making Moss's coach scream at the referee about the head.

Nudging Rose back as they enter the final forty seconds, Lottie tries to land a left hook that finds air, Rose counters with an overhand right to the side of Lottie's head, an overhand left smacks the blonde into her mouth.

Knocked back to the ropes, Lottie covers up as seconds tick away, the round ends with Rose looking fired up as she returns to her corner, happier with her work at the end of this round.

Round 5:
Both are looking more determined to establish their game plan, Rose coming in a little too hot as Lottie sidesteps her, pounding a right into the Foxfire fighters head to the delight of the fans.

A follow up two punch combo into the mouth of Rose busts her bottom lip open, something Lottie begins to target with straight punches between the mitts of her opponent.

That becomes too predictable and Rose parries a straight to counter with a right cross, smacking Lottie to her jaw, a left then smacks Lottie on her chin to knock her head back.

Now Rose begins to turn the tables, bashing back Lottie towards the ropes with clean punches through her mitts, the crowd enjoying the back and forth action.

Turning Rose to the ropes, Lottie slams a double jab into those bloody lips, a right smacks Rose in her gut to make her gasp out, forcing Rose into her shell as the round comes to a close.

The bell rings with Lottie waving at the fans to cheer, her coach washes her down as they tell her to not get bogged down, her speed is her key to winning in their eyes.

Across the ring Rose admits to Sophia "this kid's got talent" Sophia telling her to prove she has more talent as she patches up that bloody lip, Rose dancing on her toes to show she is up for this before the bell rings to start the next round.

Round 6:
Lottie is flicking out double jabs, looking more for a big right hand it seems as she is loading it up more, missing though as Rose is seeing it coming too easily.

A missed left cross by Moss leaves her open to a counter uppercut, knocking her head back before a left hook smacks her across her face to send sweat flying towards the judges table.

Knocked onto the ropes, Lottie's guard seems to be getting broken apart, uppercuts knock her head backwards, TWO HOOKS FLUSH ON HER CHIN SEND LOTTIE TUMBLING TO ALL FOURS!

Some boos ring out as Rose heads off to the neutral corner, 1...2...3... Lottie looks shaky as she tries to get up, 4...5...6.. Falling back to the middle rope as she shakes her head, 7....8... Lottie looks over to her corner before putting her head down, 9...10 her legs are gone and she is counted out!

Winner Rose Byrne KO Round 6

After:
Another win for the veteran tonight, Rose raises her arms above her head as she is beaming, her bottom lip trickling blood is a reminder that this was far from an easy win for her.

Heading over to Lottie, Rose shows good sportsmanship to help up Lottie, praising the young woman for giving her one heck of a test tonight.

Lottie doesn't seem so sure as she felt she made too many mistakes, the ropes holding her up as she leans back on them, showing how hard she was hit to finish the job.

Both women embrace as plenty of respect here, before they head back to the corners, Lottie with help from her coach as she still looks shaky.

Getting their faces cleaned up and a quick drink, even though she lost, Lottie doesn't look to be letting getting beaten again break her spirits, maybe seeing where she needs to improve to returning back to this level of competition.

Rose gets her hand raised by the referee, making it official that whatever happens in other results tonight, Rose finished second in this tournament, Lottie applauding her as they share a nod of respect.

Leaving the ring with her coach, Lottie will be watching closely the next fight between Maya Jama and Samaria Regalado, Lottie can finish the tournament either fifth or in dreaded last place depending on how that result goes.

While inside the ring Rose poses for the cameras, she gets a big hug from Sophia, who tells her how proud she is of her, it certainly has been an impressive comeback this year, only Alice Eve has beaten her since her return in this tournament.

As they leave the ring, Rose will have to wait a little longer for a shot at the BBU bantamweight title, don't be surprised if she keeps this form up that she won't get a shot before the end of the year though.
