BEFORE: Polish glamour model Monika Pietrasinska struggled to make an genuine impact over the last couple of years but she's always a good bet for any BBU undercard even though Spanish fellow model Laura Barriales targets her as a "walking punchbag" according to the social media evidence. Laura has campaigned at welterweight before and owns a three inch height advantage over the Polish opponent so one has to question if this is a good deal for Monika but then again Barriales has been out of action for the last 18+ months so she might struggle with rust in the early stages of tonight's bout.

Round 1:
Laura doesn't hold back in the early stages and catches the fellow brunette off guard with a stubborn jabbing attack. Monika shakes off the initial blast but doesn't find her response and allows the Spaniard to land more pesky hits which only makes Barriales even more aggressive down the stretch. Monika locks up her high guard but gets bullied around the ring and even though Laura doesn't land clean shots often enough, she traps the reeling Pole on the ropes where she digs her in the guts and forces Pietrasinska to clinch her into a lenghty stalemate during the final stretch.

Round 2:
More attacking buzz from Barriales who swings with supreme confidence but bounces off the top of Pietrasinska's forehead and eats a nasty hook on the boobs that finally allows the Pole to find her stride. Both women tangle in close range before an accidental head-butt sends Laura reeling, she swings from her heels but misses and Monika counters her over the top landing some heavy jabs straight into the Spaniard's face. Laura circles away but Monika still leaps after her and nails her on the nasal ridge before dropping a low bomb on the exposed tummy. Barriales wobbles onto the ropes and fails to embrace another quick body assault that has Monika seething in delight at the bell as she punches the Spanish foe into a standstill.

Round 3:
Laura rallies back with more juicy hits to the body but she bangs her left arm into the Pole's hip and eats a crushing uppercut on the jaw as Pietrasinska gets fully committed into her aggressive response. Both women trade vicious licks in the center of the ring before a nasty hook on the jaw sends Barriales backwards. She dekes to the side trying to find her range again but the Polish brunette barges her in the tits and clobbers butt-in-ropes come the second minute. Laura can't stay off the ropes as she tries to maul Monika's cleavage but tags her chin with a couple of uppercuts only for the Pole to nail her across the mouth and bury her under a steady head-hunting roll in the final seconds. Another late hook tags the solar plexus moments after the bell and Barriales gets visibly upset but her verbal tirade falls on deaf ears as Monika twerks her booty while walking back to her corner.

Round 4:
Laura jumps into a high-octane jabbing attack but her precision doesn't match the intensity and has Pietrasinska throwing counter jabs into her face instead. There's a steady push from the Polish model who visibly rattles the fellow model into a hectic retreat down the stretch but Laura still wants to swing back at the charging rival. She nails Monika on the jaw but eats a right-on-right response and wobbles forward with a whimper while Monika nails her on the jaw one more time on the follow up... Ugh-oh! Laura scowls in pain and loses her footing while Monika barks behind another drilling hook that bounces into the Spaniard's nose and sends her CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACK!!! Monika struts back to her corner while the ref issues a slowish count and Barriales is back up at seven. She shakes off the knockdown in mind over matter fashion and becomes too erratic in her comeback effort as Monika duly outboxes her along the ropes and drops another hook on the nose right at the bell to leave the older brunette choking on some loud spasms.

Round 5:
Monika lunges into Laura's breasts and cripples her into a moaning struggle while adding more juice on target. Laura just can't recover from that knockdown whatsoever and eats one crippling body shot after another until Pietrasinska drills her solar plexus too much... Barriales tries to clinch the charging foe but lacks genuine strenght and gets spun to the side when Monika connects with her chin... another double combo finds the temples and drops the hammer on the ailing Spanish girl... she swings one last time through thin air before the Pole TURNS HER LIGHTS OUT with a brutal cross hook on the ear!!! Laura crumbles into a moaning heap and the ref waves off the count at six! She is outta here!!! KO5 Monika Pietrasinska!!!

AFTER: That's one much-needed victory for the up & down Polish model however most BBU pundits don't believe she can really mount a proper contending effort going forward. However she's more than qualified to crank up any undercard around the league and she seems satisfied with that role judging by her post-fight social media response. Moreover she targets a couple of mystery Italian opponents next so watch this space!
