Ewelina Lisowska vs Amelle Berrabah

BEFORE: Former Sugababes singer Amelle Berrabah had several weeks to prepare for this contender match-up as the unbeaten Ewelina Lisowska announced her intentions immediately after brutally knocking out Ola Jordan back in September. Amelle might not be the same elite fighter ever since losing a flyweight championship bout to Cheryl Cole but she's still a very dangerous floater and a valuable test for anyone who dreams of sitting on the 110 lbs throne. Here's a hint - Ewelina is one of those dreamers alright as she's distanced herself from stablemates Heidi Range and Mandy Capristo as the genuine flyweight leader - while Cheryl Cole still divides her time between Europe & America.

Ewelina Lisowska wears a crimson bikini set & black gloves. Long raven black hair tied in a curled ponytail. Amelle Berrabah wears a black bikini top, denim micro skirt & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a braid. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Ewelina roars into a high-tempo jabbing assault but Amelle neutalizes her in mid-range before thumping an overhand response that dissects the fellow brunette's guard and sends her reeling upon impact. Amelle finds herself slugging through the unbeaten singer's defense and stuffs her on the heels come the second minute which shocks the scattered KO Club audience but it quickly gets worse for the patrons as Lisowska eats a head-butting shot and wobbles onto the ropes where Berrabah beats her for a brutal hook on the eye! Ugh! Ewelina sinks on jelly knees amid wild spasms and has to clinch the older singer as Amelle sticks more promising shots into her chest regardless and pierces the ribcage before the bell halts her progress. She seeths over at Mel B. in the Lioness corner and vows to "knock this silly c### out!"

Round 2:
Ewelina's heard all the Amelle bragging after that promising opening round but she can do little about the Sugababe pouring some... ahem... jabbing sugar on her during another hectic slugging exchange early in the second. Lisowska thumps her way back onto Berrabah's face but gets picked off in equally ruthless fashion and fails to break her stride which only makes Amelle look better with every second. Both women keeps firing upstairs for majority of the round until Amelle finally cuts the Pole up below the left eye and makes her wince a little louder than before. However Lisowska refuses to back off and wants to keep slugging at it only for Berrabah to silence her with another left/right combo that rattles her on the jaw and finally makes think better off it.

Round 3:
Amelle has pulled a somewhat shocking lead after two but gets thumped up the chimney early in the third as the swarming Pole isn't hurt enough to avoid her usual aggressive approach. Amelle barks in anger and replies with rough accuracy punishing the younger brunette's midsection before she's the one getting head-butted in not-so-accidental fashion. She wobbles onto her heels and swings over Lisowska's head in response while the Polish singer ROCKS her with a nasty chin shot from the inside that triggers a jabbing blaze upstairs to dominate the action come the final minute. Berrabah yields real estate on the double and gets pinned onto the ropes where Ewelina keeps plucking those body shots on top of flirting with another head-butt. Amella's upset at the bell again but she's getting no love from the referee in the Lioness Club's backyard!

Round 4:
Amelle realizes she has to knock the frisky Pole out as soon as possible but she can't stop Ewelina from polishing her face with more brutal hooks to start the fourth round. She hangs on in this exhausting drill for a while before Lisowska's superior work rate simply takes over and allows the younger brunette to dominate the action; Ewelina keeps landing one cruel hook after another and leaves Berrabah sporting a nasty swelling around the lips in the process while the single-hand response makes little impact on the aggressive Lioness fighter. Amelle begins to run out of steam simply trying to keep up with the slugging pace and gets trapped on the turnbuckle late on when Ewelina rifles another gut-wrenching series to make Berrabah really feel it. Huh! Both women barge shoulders at the bell and the referee has to get in there to prevent some extra action but Amelle doesn't look so confident anymore and Mel B. has noticed that from the Lioness corner as well.

Round 5:
All that kickboxing practice allows Ewelina to really keep the pressure on while Amelle begins to simply wear out with every punch leaking into her face and - perhaps most significantly - downstairs. She gets stuffed into spasms when the Pole barges her in the gut and shakes off the clinching efforts before Ewelina really lays it into the Brit's chest in a sudden JMD-like flurry. However Amelle fires back over the top and almost lands the perfect counter-punch blast if only Ewelina didn't duck at the last second to pierce more tummy and put out the recovery threat. Amelle circles back under more jabbing pressure thereafter and spends most of the second minute in rare retreat before Lisowska traps her with more slugging menace. Both women keeps duking it out but it's mind over matter stuff from Berrabah as she gets clocked on the nose repeatedly and bellows out behind a desperate earmuff while the younger brunette duly picks her off and looks upset after the bell she couldn't drop her for the count during this dominant spell.

Round 6:
Amelle is brave enough to try her slugging chances but she gets glued to the spot with Ewelina's superior execution making all the difference and there are too many crisp shots landing in the Brit's stomach for her not to look vulnerable again. She doesn't lock the clinching respite and gets pounded back to the turnbuckle with Lisowska running on all cylinders to dump the former Sugababe into all kinds of bother. Ugh! Amelle hangs on while barely throwing a good punch herself but she finally wilts under the Polish assault when Lisowska nails her in the solar plexus one time too many!!! AMELLE TAKES A KNEE and looks a spend force here when she finally gets up at eight. Ugh! She looks around the largely empty KO Club but vows to continue the fight only for Ewelina to BLAST her up the middle and knock her backwars upon impact. Uh-oh! Amelle gets swiftly pummelled back to the ropes and bellows out behind a desperate earmuff while shouting out in pain when the Polish girl thumps one wicked hook after another... AND HERE COMES THE TOWEL!!! Amelle's former Sugababes bandmate Heidi Range sends the white piece of textile flying and angers Ewelina who wanted to knock the fellow brunette out!!! Amelle drops to her knees when the referee picks up the towel and accepts the Sugababes truce which cost the Lioness Club the knockout destruction bonus! TKO6 Ewelina Lisowska!!!

AFTER: Ewelina is still upset that Heidi threw in that towel instead of staying in the Lioness Club lane but maybe her rampant rise up the rankings has earned her more enemies than she anticipated. She knocked Heidi out back in March after all and one can only wonder how many times she did that during unofficial gym sessions as well? Both singers stare each other down before Ewelina bails out with a loud "Whatever!" scream and performs a couple of high kicks for InstaStory love!

Meanwhile Amelle gets up and shares a hug with Heidi Range as both reconcile over past glory days. Amelle looked very menacing for four rounds and basically won two of them before Lisowska's upside covered the spread and allowed her to dominate the plucky British rival. Amelle's elite window appears to be shut for good but she remains a dangerous floater in the flyweight division and must be taken seriously by all the aspiring wannabees!
