Mimi was easily beaten by Diana Korkunova on her debut, but Diana is a talented boxer, and maybe too much for a 21 year old’s first fight, but arrogant Nikki Sanderson has called her out, and will fight her 19 year old sister Leah, immediately afterwards. This evening will be quite an event for the 35 year old Brit against the Australian sisters, who have been assisted in their preparation by Danni Minogue, who will encourage young Mimi tonight

Mimi is wearing a shiny red bikini, with her name embroidered on the back of her panties, whilst Nikki is wearing a prettily patterned print bikini, and she looks very sure of herself as she waits for the bell, neither girl interested in bopping fists as the referee gives them their instructions

Round 1
Both girls are looking to make a quick start, but it’s Mimi surprising Nikki at the outset, her sweet left jab constantly smacking into Nikki’s face, and the older girl won’t want to pick up any damage in this fight, with another one to follow immediately. Nikki’s on the defensive, and Mimi’s getting some big cheers as she thumps the Brit’s face, Nikki not really guarding her features carefully enough, and maybe she’s underestimated the youngster, who smiles as she hits Nikki again, a left cross really snapping her head back, but that seems to have motivated her, because she’s fighting back now, and lands a nice combination, left jabs and a right hook, although Mimi doesn’t seem bothered, and takes control back, unsettling Nikki with some hefty body punches, leaving the older girl backed into the ropes at the bell

Round 2
Nikki’s unhappy, her face already scuffed by the impact of Mimi’s red gloves, and she’s not enjoying the initial trade in punches as round two begins, Mimi landing more regularly than she can, so that she has to go backwards, as Mimi tags her with sweet punches, Nikki having to punch her way off the ropes, her gloves smacking into Mimi’s face, making the younger girl snort, and Nikki’s been able to turn the Australian around, pushes her backwards, and tees off, landing some really good punches in Mimi’s face, the younger girl’s head being snapped to the left and to the right as Nikki hits and hurts her with those hooks, Mimi needing to hold, but not managing quite to do it, and she now knows that Nikki is a tough opponent

Round 3
Back they come, and Nikki looks in control now, keeping to the centre of the ring, making Mimi work harder to land her punches, the younger girl circling, landing a few jabs, but Nikki’s waiting, and she gets past Mimi’s defence with jabs of her own, and follows up with nice right crosses as well, Mimi then landing to Nikki’s ribs and tits, annoying the older girl, who fires a big right hook into Mimi’s face, wobbles her, but doesn’t drop her, and she’s looking disappointed that the rookie took one of her best punches, and comes back for more, landing to Nikki’s body with good left hooks, although she gets knocked backwards when Nikki lands a left jab and right cross combination, the older girl gradually turning up the pressure as she cuts down the amount of room Mimi has, forcing her to defend herself off the ropes, as Nikki shows her experience, and is beginning to look for a big punch to knock Mimi out

Round 4
She’s bristling with aggression, but Nikki’s not managing to hurt Mimi with her arcing punches, still taking more of the younger girl’s straight punches to her face and thumping hooks to her body than is good for her, and now Mimi’s the one putting on the pressure, Nikki in a neutral corner as she stabs her left jabs past those defensive white gloves Nikki has on her hands tonight, the Brit’s right cheek getting redder as the time passes, but she’s still able to turn Mimi around, hitting her hard to her body with solid left hooks, Mimi backed into the ropes, with Nikki at her, throwing punches, frustrated that Mimi’s blocking so many of them, the younger girl countering as well, and Nikki has to take a step back when she gets a right hook over the top of her guard just when she wasn’t expecting it, Nikki wincing and shaking her head to clear it as she holds, the referee separating the girls quickly, with Nikki clipping Mimi across the lips with a good left hook, taking the round, although she isn’t by any means dominating the rookie

Round 5
Nikki is again starting to pressurise Mimi from the start of the round, making the girl work her way around the ring, but suddenly Mimi stops, and switches her plan from skipping clockwise to skipping anti-clockwise, and in that moment she’s got herself beautifully inside Nikki’s guard, and she opens the older girl’s defences up, really snapping her head back with a pair of crushing uppercuts, Nikki rocked on her heels, and she’s being cornered here, as Mimi, encouraged by a very vocal Danni Minogue rips punches into the Brit’s body, bringing gasps of pain from Nikki’s pursed lips, Mimi searching for a gap to nail her with an uppercut again, knowing how she hurt the Brit with that moments earlier, and again Nikki is forced to hold, only for the referee to break the hold again, and this time it’s a rampant Mimi who reacts more quickly, and she’s really battering Nikki in that corner, the older girl unable to stop the punches from coming, and she’s looking groggy as the bell signals the end of round five

Round 6
Nikki’s arrogant challenge to fight both Perkins sisters on one night is beginning to look more and more foolish, as Mimi tears into her from the opening seconds, Nikki not even getting out of her own corner when the first barrage of punches land to her ribs and gut, ringside fans clearly hearing the Brit’s squeals and squeaks as Mimi hurts her some more, and then she throws in another right uppercut, and that’s sent Nikki to the canvas! Mimi is prancing as she looks at Nikki roll from her back to her front, finally making it to her feet as the referee’s count gets to 8, but her legs are unsteady, and her head’s swaying, as Danni Minogue roars Mimi on, “Finish her babe!” which is clearly what the 21 year old starlet wants to do, wiping Nikki backwards with a solid right hook to the side of her head, the Brit’s defence non-existent now as she staggers backwards, Mimi allowing herself a grin as she follows her, bends her over with a lovely left right on Nikki’s belly button, and in comes another right uppercut – and that’s too much for Nikki in her dazed state, and she’s on her back again, trying to get to her feet, but she’s still on all fours when the count reaches 9, and topples over as it reaches 10. She gets up, but it’s too late, and her legs don’t hold her anyway, as she drops to her knees again, weeping

Result: Mimi Perkins knocked out Nikki Sanderson in round 6

Mimi is absolutely jubilant as she embraces Danni Minogue, whilst Nikki is being helped to her stool, doctors tending her to ensure that she’s ok, and once she is, Danni’s in her face, and dragging her across the ring, forcing her to her knees in front of Mimi, and Nikki’s kissing the Aussie’s feet, quite deservedly because she was well beaten by the younger girl, and will only have a short break before fighting her younger sister.
