BEFORE:
“I’ve had a hell of a year on both sides of the ocean,” Clements says first at the press conference, smiling in an olive green sweater. “Esti, unfortunately, won’t be the last blonde I end up beating by the end of this year. I’m looking forward to our match tonight, but I can’t wait to spank Alexis’ ass another two weeks later.”

Esti Ginzburg coming off a difficult loss of her own against Tatiana Dieteman back in October, but otherwise having a mixed career with one other win in 2018 over Natalia Vodianova. 

“I’m eager to test myself against Jessica tonight,” Esti says next, her freckled face framed by strawberry blonde hair. “She’s very good at beating girls with no fighting background, isn’t she? But against girls like me? Not so much. I’ll show her how it’s done later in the ring!”

Staredown at the podium gives off similar blonde vs brunette vibes, with both women almost the same height and built. They set each other with mutual, wordless glares, most of their fighting words already said earlier and nothing left to do but exchange fists.

Later, in the ring, Clements in a simple black bikini, red band holding her hair in a tight ponytail. Esti in pink bikini top, navy blue bottoms, donning white gloves. HERE we go with ten rounds of Lightweight action!

ROUND 1:
Jessica with her sights set on someone else, someone past Esti, who’s simply in her way tonight. She behaves as such, charging forward once the bell rings, immediately begins rattling the blonde in front of her with some early shots to the head. Esti grunts, covers up and moves, but can’t quite hide her shock as Clements continues to slam hard crosses into her guard, knocking her about the ring and almost threatening to take her down in the very first round. Esti taking whatever chances she can to retaliate, shooting her own jabs into Clements’ face in between the barrage of attacks, but each time she gets rocked by Clements’ quantity, the Siren determined to end the rookie’s chances before they even begin. Round ends and Jessica’s clearly in control, taking it wide as she grins back to corner.

ROUND 2:
Esti suddenly more aggressive, must be coming from the direction of her corner, who’ve urged her to meet Jessica’s aggression with some of her own. Blonde and brunette CLASH in the center ring, both suddenly throwing hooks into the guard and knocking each other’s head about in close quarters. Jessica shocked when she’s rocked by a hard right hand, didn’t think that Ginzburg could be packing such power as herself. But Esti gets careless and a subsequent hook of hers sails over the head, eats a return shot to the chin that makes her stumble slightly back. Clements pounces, outworks the blonde at close range with more swipes across the face, then subsequent jabs taken on the forearms as Ginzburg goes into retreat but still firing punches to keep Clements away. Esti spends the remaining seconds hiding her face behind her arms, starting to get cut up by Clements repeated attacks.

ROUND 3:
Esti acting like a wounded animal when the bell rings, coming forward with her face still hidden behind her guard. Clements clearly smiling at the sight of this, think she’s got this fight done and dusted, and starts the action with a couple of jabs smack into Esti’s arms. Esti taking it, absorbing the damage, then suddenly catching Clements with a counter-attack straight into the lips! Clements stunned as her cheek bunched in again, trying to fend off the lightning jabs all of a sudden. Esti must have been playing possum all this while, with the Israeli blonde striking from the shadows that leave the SIREN camp annoyed as hell. None more so than Clements, who recomposes herself at a distance before flying forward one more time, but Esti already scooting away, blocking and maintaining range too. Rest of the round lacks the same action, with Ginzburg stealing the round with that early flurry to Clements’ pride.

ROUND 4:
More tricks up Esti’s sleeve as she rushes at Jess early, landing another one-two quick shots to the nose before Clements can register and swing back with a vengeance. A vicious slugfest goes down in the middle of the ring as Esti blocks the first hook and then smacks Clements’ cheek as retaliation. Jessica incensed, batters gloves on her tummy and then goes after the head, her face screwed up in a mixture of rage and pain. The two girls turn each other’s heads to opposite sides, but Clements’ power and tenacity eventually doing more damage, ROCKS Ginzburg with a third such volley to the cheek, Esti letting out a loud grunt as she’s staggered to one side! Clements not letting her up, face screwed up as she looses another hook loose across the face, KNOCKS the challenger clean off her feet! GINZBURG GOES DOWN!!

KNOCKDOWN for Jessica Clements! Ginzburg just couldn’t hold her drink in that back-and-forth slugfest with the Siren! To her credit, Esti making her slow way back up, mouth hanging open but looking like she really wants to continue this fight. Clements with a wide smile, getting back into fighting position as the referee rings the bell again for the last two minutes to continue. Esti up on her feet but doesn’t really know where to go from here, barely moves from her position before she gets BLASTED by another left cross down the midsection, which throws her back into the ropes! From there, it’s all downhill for the blonde, who gets rocked left and right with Clements close in her face, barely any resistance left from the Israeli as Jessica holds her in place with repeated swings, chooses when and where to blast her head clean to one side, then the other. Finally, the referee has seen enough, JUMPS in to save Ginzburg! It’s all over! 

Official Decision: Jessica Clements defeats Esti Ginzburg via TKO4!

AFTER:
Ginzburg knocked silly, barely conscious as she sinks down to her knees, her blonde hair dishevelled over her face as she hangs on the middle rope, absolutely punch drunk. Clements turning back to corner, letting out a roar as she secures another win in her column. 

“Alexis! I’m coming for you,” she later says, taking the mic and addressing the rest of the arena. “I’m in the best shape of my life, and so are the SIRENs. We’re totally gonna win this year!”
