BEFORE: We are live in the Dominican Republic where former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo makes her FCBA debut! January is usually the "New Faces" month so the Rhode Island native was granted an early start and several experts believe she's gonna make it count in beach boxing rules tonight! Culpo stands just over 5'6" tall and weighs in at 119 lbs with her athletic frame well suited for celebrity boxing universe!

"I'm really thankful Rose accepted my call but I'm still gonna f### her up!", Olivia giggles her way through the pre-fight interview and maybe that's a sign of nerves creeping into her pretty little head. Nonetherless her tonight's opponent - fellow Sports Illustrated model Rose Bertram - believes spoiling Olivia's debut is well within her range as she still seeks that maiden FCBA victory herself.

Olivia Culpo wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair loose & straight. Rose Bertram wears a yellow bikini set & black gloves. Curly blonde hair loose. Both fighters are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division.

Round 1:
Rose believes she can upstage the rookie blasting her in true slugging fashion and that approach gives her a clear edge as Olivia kicks up more sand than trying to find a proper response. She gets picked off up the middle as Rose channels the aggressive opportunity to expose the brunette's lack of experience. The steady attack lacks precision but leaves Olivia in retreat mode anyway which only fuels the blonde's desire to thump more leather up the middle. Olivia's head snaps back repeatedly as she get backed onto the ropes where she finally swings several punches against the odds but shoots over Rose's head and eats another late flurry that gives her chin a rough test indeed. Ugh! Olivia slumps on jelly knees right at the bell and only gives the cheerful blonde a lenghty stare before turning away.

Round 2:
Rose realizes she can really blow the rookie away and sprints across the sand to deliver another head-hunting blast but Olivia barks in her recovery efforts and finds the big punch as she nails the blonde on the ear and follows through with a vicious uppercut on the chin as well. Ugh! Rose loses her balance and her face suddenly bounces off the brunette's chest! Olivia shoves the briefly stunned rival off and beats her for another drilling punch on the nose that makes Bertram scowl in pain. Uh-oh! Olivia lets it rip and buries Rose behind a flurry of jabs - the work load alone shuts the targeted woman down and Rose quickly runs out of real estate as Culpo thumps her butt-in-ropes before signing off her charge with a brutal belting shot on the liver that sinks the blonde into loud spasms at the bell.

Round 3:
Olivia finds her groove and takes full advantage of Rose's below par punching resistance that quickly rises its ugly head. Ugh! Talk about working the slugfest magic as Bertram gets glued to her heels and struggles to match the brunette's intensity as both women trade meaningful leather in the center of the ring. Olivia adds the belting checks to maintain her advantage and Rose's lack of precision descends into pure chaos down the stretch as she fails to connect with her head shots anymore. Olivia shows some nifty footwork to dance around her foe and cashes in with more gut shots that only increase the moaning volume as Rose slumps into more misery and gets dumped onto the turnbuckle with Culpo delivering more jabbing juice with plenty of success!

Round 4:
No more smiles on Bertram's face but she's determined to blast Olivia's face again; both women clash heads before landing a proper power punch and the action gets messy for majority of the opening minute. More wrestling and chest-bumping than actual boxing sends the performance value south but Rose recovers first when she scythes the brunette's jugs and carries a solid uppercut dose on target to finally slow Culpo down. However the former Miss Universe refuses to back off and remains in the phone booth stance which leads into more chaotic pushing & shoving as both women struggle for supremacy. Rose still lands a nasty belter on the liver and drives her head into Olivia's nose.. ugh... that was a bit naughty but anything goes against a rookie... Olivia swings over the top... but misses and Bertram whacks her on the lips a couple of times to end a very messy round.

Round 5:
Olivia resumes the body assault prowess early in the fifth and dumps the blonde into immediate bother... Rose goes in high but Olivia goes low and drills the blonde's solar plexus with great success... Uh-oh! Rose spins to the side with a loud whimper and suddenly finds herself eating head shots on the double as Culpo powers ahead to connect with her temples... she swings one more piledriver on the nose and forces Bertram to roll down the curtains... here comes a free shot on the jaw... and Rose's gumshield comes flying out!!! DOWN GOES BERTRAM crashing on her backside!!! Olivia quickly struts back to neutral corner while Rose tries to shake off the daze... and she looks hurt as she clutches her jaw before collapsing onto her back... Uh-oh!!! She's not gonna make it!!! EIGHT... NINE... TEN... YER OUT!!! KO5 Olivia Culpo!!!

AFTER: Olivia jumps in the air and yells out in pure delight! She's totally over the moon with this result to the point she completely ignores the fallen opponent for a long while. Meanwhile Rose slowly climbs to her feet but she's still holding her chin as she leaves the ring and quite frankly strikes a very dejected figure indeed.

Olivia would love to get another fight like right away but her imminient plans remain unknown: "I don't know if I carry on at bantam or maybe try my chances at lightweight but hey, I feel like I can do some damage here!" (giggles). "I hope to catch Rose at the drinks, I'm really grateful she gave me this opportunity but I was like waaayyy too athletic for her in the end. The first round was awful but I picked up my pace from there on and next thing you know, here I am celebrating a frickin' victory on my debut! That's sooo awesome!!!"
