BEFORE: Tonight's undercard features a couple of stunning brunettes who think they deserve more credit for fighting a very tough schedule over the years. Bianca Balti still can't understand why the new Glamour Boxing Academy stable picked Miriam Leone instead of her whereas Polish glamour model Monika Pietrasinka even considered dying her hair blonde if that helps her achieve the similar contending status to her highly-touted compatriots Sandra Kubicka or Joanna Krupa. BBU TV's Georgie Thompson has a quick word of advice for these two aspiring talents - how about you knock each other out rather than look impressive while actually losing - since that remains the story of both these brunettes' careers thus far.

Round 1:
Both women seek immediate slugging breakthrough and dish out plenty of hits in the opening minute but the precision just isn't there until Bianca clips the fellow brunete's chin a couple of times and smacks her on the nose for a good measure. Monika refuses to back off but struggles match the Italian's execution as Bianca keeps picking her off up the middle and snaps her head back repeatedly in the second minute. Monika finds the slugging pace a little too hot and tries to bail out into mid-range but gets clipped by another quick hook on the temple and loses her balance which allows Balti to bump her onto the ropes where she adds more effective punches into the younger brunette's rack to keep her shut down for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
Monika fires back over the top but Bianca weathers the initial storm and keeps her slugging assault firmly in tact which leaves the Polish model nursing a visible swelling around the lips come the one-minute mark. Bianca's head-hunting drive is maybe predictable but Pietrasinska's high-guard just can't tame it whatsoever as the Pole becomes glued to the spot and succumbs to more vicious striking from the older brunette. Bianca barks in her efforts to knock Monika's head off but only thumps her onto the ropes where Monika clinches her into safety and the Italian just can't break free and gets trapped in a headlock instead as Pietrasinska does everything to avoid more damage.

Round 3:
Bianca keeps sending majority of her strikes upstairs but Monika finds her counter-punching range and before the Italian knows it, she's getting smacked up the middle herself. She initially accepts the slugging drill but gets bumped to the side after Monika nails her on the temple and suddenly the Polish model assumes command and pummels the hitherto charging foe onto the ropes where she belts her across the tummy and digs deep into the exposed ribcage. Oof! It's Balti's time to seek a clinching respite and she fumes at the ref over an alleged low blow that Monika denies ever happened!

Rounds 4 & 5:
Back & forth head-hunting action descends the fight into a cagey too close to call affair and these two women are really evenly matched ever since Monika cashes in with the counter-punching overhands. Bianca learns to regret the predictable nature of her attacks and it only gets worse when she suffers a mild cut below the left eye late in the fourth before Pietrasinska wrecks more havoc downstairs in the fifth. The Polish models belts the Italian foe just around the elbows and traps her along the ropes where she shakes off the clinching ideas and lays more leather into Balti's guts against the partisan odds. Ugh! Bianca finds some jug muggin' response late in the fifth herself but Monika still whacks her across the mouth in response and launches another bumper drive with only seconds remaining that leaves the Italian scowling in pain at the bell.

Round 6:
Bianca flies in with her trademark head-hunting series to clip Monika on the jaw but misses on the follow up and ends up getting the Pole's elbow stuffed into her rack as she wobbles too far forward. Monika bumps her off in another jug-to-jug contact and lets a brutal hook fly to catch the shaky Italian flush on the jaw! Ugh! Bianca drops back to her heels and is unable to react in time as Pietrasinska blasts her across the chin AND SENDS CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACKSIDE!! Uh-oh!!! Panic station inside the arena as the local favorite hits the deck hard but is quick to get up regardless to indicate that knockdown punch was nothing! However Monika races into immediate slugging pressure and pounds Balti butt-in-ropes before driving more vicious harpoons into her rack and Bianca has to feel the Polish wrath here no matter what... yep, she gurgles in pain when Monika thumps her boobs into her slumping chin in the closing stages and the bell rescues the ailing Italian at the last moment!

Round 7:
Bianca runs out of luck seconds into the seventh though as Monika stuffs her with a piercing double on the solar plexus and beats her for a quick uppercut that catches both the rack and the jaw... Bianca slumps to her heels and doesn't raise her mitts fast enough so Pietrasinska SMOKES her with a brutal right hook on the ear that pulls the Italian plug out for good!!! DOWN GOES BALTI FLAT ON HER BACK and remains motionless with her eyes closed as the merciless count passes her by! KO7 Monika Pietrasinska!!!

AFTER: Talk about spoiling the partisan odds as Monika once again shows flashes of genuine elite skills to down one of the most dangerous BBU lightweight floaters around! If only she was able to display such performance on a regular basis, she'd be right there with compatriots Kubicka and Krupa to potentially challenge for divisional straps. She gets pretty vocal celebrating her road success while the hosts try to revive the semi-dazed Bianca back from the knockout abyss but it's a tall order and BBU TV heads to a commercial break with the proud Italian still laid out on the canvas.
