Before: Two of the hardest fighting petite boxers in the FCBA go at it for the first time. The feisty flyweights are expected to have a lively pre-fight press conference and sure enough…

“What’s the big difference between me and Emma? Well, besides my being a whole half-inch taller, I have been FCBA Flyweight Champion THREE times. Which is three times more than Emma plus, all modestly aside, I am a Tractorpull Magazine Hall of Famer.”

Strawberry blonde Emma gives a snort of contempt: “You haven’t held that title since—when was it?—oh yeah 2013. You’re living on past glory ‘Panties’ and I am going to delight in showing everyone what a has-been you are! You couldn’t beat that skinny redhead McNamara last time out, while I whupped Debby Ryan and Ariel Winter back to back. Your career is headed for Jobberville and I’m the one who’ll keep you on your way!”

“You watch your mouth, Roberts, ‘cause I’m the blonde who’ll stuff in full of leather!” Hayden snarled.

“You and who else?” Emma retorted.

“The clichés just keep coming,” Hayden mocked.

Emma and Hayden were at separate podiums on opposite sides the stage. This was thought to be safe distance by FCBA Security, but now the two of them marched across the stage to stad there, small but feisty bodies pressing aggressively against each other, hands on hips. They were wearing miniskirted dresses: Hayden in bright blue, Emma in gold, they started moving their feet in an obvious attempt to trip one another. Then Emma made her move, she jerked her foot and Hayden started to fall backwards, but she grabbed wildly and found Emma’s dress. Hayden crashed to the floor, but clutched in her hands was most of Emma’s gold miniskirted dress. Emma was standing there in white satin undies with an astonished look on her face.

“You need a better dressmaker, that was too easy,” Hayden managed to say.

Emma let out a howl of rage and threw herself onto Hayden. Not surprising, she ripped Hayden’s blue dress off leaving the blonde in pale blue undies. Hayden now snarled back and the two of them rolled around on the stage in a screaming, kicking, punching, hair pulling catfight that made for amazing social media clips. FCBA Security rushed out from the wings of the stage, but these beefy gentlemen found it hard to pull the enraged little warriors apart, but they finally succeeded and hauled them away. Emma and Hayden were last heard screaming dire threats and curses at each other.

Well, there was nothing like a full-on pre-fight catfight to excite interest in a upcoming fight. The crowd was buzzing with excitement even before Hayden and Emma made their entrances on Fight Night and, when they did appear, the burst of excited cheers reverberated aroiund the arena.

Emma Roberts entered the ring in a leopard print one piece with black gloves and boots, gold laces. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail. Hayden Panettiere was in black Retro one piece trimmed in white with black polka dot. White gloves and boots with black laces. Her hair was loose, but wetted down. The two stood glaring at each other, though neither said anything during the ring instructions. They sullenly smacked their gloves together and then head for their corners. The bell rang…

R1: Fighters shoot out of their corners at the bell. Quick exchange of head shots at mid ring then they circle each other and fire in fast, probing shots. Then Emma starts to lunge in, but Hayden sees her coming and BOOM! Smashing right from Hayden swivels Emma’s head and her whole body spins after. Hayden follows up with more shots to the jaw and the side of Emma’s head. Emma scrambling to put some distance between herself and Hayden, but Hayden hounding her to maintain pressure. Emma finally able to turn back and slow up Hayden with jabs into the blonde’s face. Hayden circles and then comes back at Emma to the right flank. Hayden pounding those side ribs until Emma circles away, Hayden pursuing, but time runs out. Hayden wins opening round wide.

R2: Emma and Hayden clash again at mid ring as the new round begins. Hayden aims for Emma’s head, but Emma more elusive this round. Hayden can’t quite land her punches square or they are blocked. Hayden then goes to the body firing in hooks to Emma’s torso. Emma responds in kind and the two are swiftly fighting it out toe to toe. Abs taking a pounding as the minutes tick away, but they seemed to be matching each other punch for punch. Then Emma braces her feet and gets some extra power into her hooks as they dig into Hayden’s belly. Hayden knocked back on her heels and eats a surprise straight right to the mouth. Hayden jabs back to stabilize her defenses to the bell, but Emma has managed to eke out a win this round.

R3: Hayden shows aggression as the bell sounds for R3. She is out fast and going for Emma to the head, but Emma again showing good defense in thwarting the effectiveness of these blows. Hayden keeps pressing forward, but then Emma strikes back with a CRACKING right off the chin and a BANGING follow-up left uppercut under the chin. Hayden goes wobbly as Emma surges forward driving punches into the blonde’s face and off her jaw. Hayden gets her mitts up around her face, but now gets her midsection pounded by Emma’s hooks. Hayden doubled up and this time Emma adds rising hooks into her breasts. Hayden trying to escape, trying to stay away from the ropes and trying to jab Emma back, but Emma’s looking very dominate to the bell. Round goes easily to Emma Roberts.

R4: Foxfire corner crew works hard and gets Hayden out in reasonably good shape for R4. Emma bounding forward looking very confident. Perhaps over-confident is a better word as Hayden unexpected comes storming forward to whip Emma’s head around with booming rights and lefts to the jaw. Emma staggered by these blows and then has her chin snapped back by two Hayden uppercuts, Emma falling away, gloves at her face as Hayden vengefully goes after Emma’s body. Emma trying to hold Hayden off with her jab, but it’s not slowly Hayden down. Emma soon being driven back into the ropes as Hayden cuts off the ring on her and then once her butt is in the strands, Hayden pounds away. Emma writhing and shuddering under these blows, but keeps a seat on the ropes and braces her legs. Hayden uses poor Emma like a heavy bag in the gym, but Emma somehow still standing at the bell. Hayden wipes her sweaty brow with a her forearm and looks exasperated as Emma peels herself off the ropes. Emma looks gray-faced, but still manages a defiant glare at Hayden as she trudges passed her. Hayden scowls and marches back to her own corner.

R5: Now the Dollhouse corner crew is obliged to work hard to get Emma ready for R5. Emma a bit slow coming out of her corner. Hayden approaching her with caution, but then attacks to the head. Emma gets banged off the top of head as she tries to duck away from the incoming. Then Emma pops up with an uppercut into Hayden’s chin. Hayden stumbles back and Emma charges forward. Emma going for Hayden’s jaw and strikes a glancing blow, but then takes a Hayden hook deep to the belly. Emma sent backwards several steps and Hayden comes at her with more belly hooks. Emma responds with belly hooks of her own. These stall Hayden, but the blonde quickly comes back and there is a sharp exchange of jaw punching. Emma knocked to one side, but covers up to blunt Hayden follow up. Hayden working Emma’s right flank as the round ends. Intense round is awarded to Hayden Panettiere but it was a close decision.

R6: Hayden very aggressive as the new round commences. She is fast out of her corner and rushes at Emma, who is barely able to fight her way clear of her own corner. Hayden firing rapid shots to head and body as she and Emma move towards the center of the ring. Hayden pounding to the body, ignoring the defensive jabs that Emma is firing at her head and trying to drive Emma back into the ropes. Emma again under heavy pressure from Hayden. She hunches up trying to block the incoming with her shoulder. Hayden trying to work her away around Emma, but Emma moving with her. Hayden looks frustrated and pauses for a moment to assess the situation. Big mistake! Emma comes leaping forward and clouts Hayden to the jaw with a right cross and then a left hook crashes into her chin. Hayden stumbles away, arms flailing as Emma pours rights and lefts into Hayden’s jaw and chin. DOWN GOES HAYDEN! Hayden crashes onto her side and lays there stunned. Emma scampers to the neutral corner. Referee is counting as Hayden struggles to rise. She makes it to her feet at “NINE!” Referee look doubtful but Hayden woozily insisting: “I’m OK! I’m OK!” Referee waves Emma in and after Hayden takes one banging blow to the head, she goes face in gloves and just waits for the bell. Emma decides to use the opportunity to work over Hayden’s right side ribs with lusty punches that have Hayden cringing by the bell. Big wicked smile Emma Roberts, after losing the first two minutes, she knocks Hayden Panettiere down and steals the round.

R7: Worried looks in the Foxfire corner as the crew work on the battered Hayden. Hayden be heard assuring trainer Virginia Madsen “I’m OK! I can still beat her!” However, at the bell, Hayden is noticeably slow in moving out. Emma looks excited, but she is able to control herself Emma working that right side again and Hayden is showing pain. Hayden trying to protect her aching flank ribs and this becomes the focus of her attention. Once Emma realizes, she’s got Hayden distracted, she strikes at Hayden from the front. Hayden struck by deep driving hooks to the belly that jackknife her forward and then Emma unloads with crashing uppercuts into the chin. HAYDEN COLLAPSES FORWARD IN HEAP! Hayden crumpled at Emma’s feet, face down and groaning. Triumphant smile on Emma’s face as she trots to the neutral corner. Referee standing over Hayden and counts. Hayden trying to push herself up, but can’t do it.

“EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...OUT!”

THE WINNER: EMMA ROBERTS DEFEATS HAYDEN PANETTIERE KO7.

After: Emma happily walking the ring waving to her cheering fans. She stops by her corner to have her gloves removed then heads over to the Foxfire corner to where a still glassy-eyed Hayden is being revived. Emma looks her defeated opponent over and then shakes her head, before turning away.

“I had some interesting post-fight punishments for her, but I realized I had knocked her so silly she wouldn’t be able to appreciate what I planned to do.” Emma explains later to the press. “Oh well, beating her was the important thing and I sure hope Avril is watching this." Emma turns her gaze directly into the camera. "THIS b*tch literally destroyed you? Twice?" Roberts chuckles. "Just imagine what -I- would do to you on the Doll Ball, tubby. It's going to be GLORIOUS. Oh and...needless to say, I ACCEPT your little challenge. We're gonna settle this ONCE and for ALL!” Emma finishes with a long, piercing, murderous b*tch-stare right into the camera, which is so intense it might just make Lavigne consider retracting her challenge all together!

As for Hayden, she speaks to the press the next day: “I think I let this thing slip away. I got too anxious to win and got clobbered in the 6th. My head really hadn’t cleared by the 7th and she picked me off. I know I can beat her, I hope I get the chance to try again,”

Exciting contest between two quality flyweights. Emma Roberts may talk a lot of trash, but she can back it with her fists. She survived some painful rounds with Hayden Panettiere to come back and knock her flat. Together with her recent wins over Ryan and Winter we would say Emma is rising in contention status, but we’ll have to see if she gets a shot any time soon. Meanwhile Hayden’s going to looking to end her two-fight losing streak and whoever she fights next better look out! In the meantime, fans can savor memories of this fight as they look forward to whatever Hayden and Emma do next in the ring.
