Intro:
Top title contenders clash here for the first time, Kaya Scodelario and Emily Ratajkowski have been tearing through the bantamweight division the past few years to reach the status they are at now, finally the debate will be settled which of them is the better fighter.

A loss will probably not kick either out of contendership status, but a win will be huge in getting them near the front of the line for a shot, that importance shown by the way both kept mostly quiet through the weeks up to the fight.

Only twenty four hours before the fight when they had been weighed in till either give a few words to the media, Kaya telling the press as she stands behind the fence from the journalists "as you saw on the scales I am taking this one deeply seriously, Emily is going to be tough but everyone knows that I am the real number one fighter in this division" showing her supreme confidence.

The press ask her why this fight hasn't happened till now, mentioning the comment from the Vixens manager that the Girls Friday stable seems a little scared to challenge their girls, Kaya scoffs at the idea, instead trying to belittle them by replying "they think we are scared of them? They should realise none of their fighters are at our level, Emily is clawing wildly to be at my level, I'll enjoy kicking her in her face down the mountain side back to where she belongs" a cocky smirk on the English actresses face as she heads off.

Emily meanwhile is her usual understated self as she wears a white tank top and blue jeans to the press event, hands on her hips as she tells them "I have waited so long to put Kaya in her place, the mouthy cow has been claiming she is the best, yet she would never accept my challenge to fight me, always hiding fighting other women, now she knows the buck stops with me if she is to get into the title hunt" a more serious look then usual on the beautiful American model's face.

She is asked why she feels she can beat Kaya, Emily grins before waving at her body, telling the journalists "doesn't this answer the question, I have worked hard to get into this ring shape, to get to this level while Kaya does the bare minimum, she will come to learn what makes a supermodel like me and why she will never compare" she struts off after her speech, happy she made her point.

Fight night, out comes Kaya with Hilary Swank and Eva Carneiro behind her, Kaya marches down the aisle looking calm as she stares at the ring, jogging up the ring steps so she can climb into the ring in her corner.

Kaya is wearing a red sports bra, red and black chequered trunks, red shoes, black gloves, her hair is tied into a ponytail, she bounces on her toes as she stretches, Hilary not seeming to need to say much as she let's her fighter get into her zone.

Now out comes Emily with coach Steve Boyd behind her, the confident strut is in full view as Emily looks every bit as majestic as she does on catwalks around the world, her black robe open as it flows behind her.

Getting help take her robe off, Emily is wearing a black sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, gold gloves with black thumbs, her hair is braided as she shadow boxes, staring across the ring at her opponent as she does so.

Jogging to the center of the ring, they both bounce on their toes as they look all business, referee going through their final instructions as the fighters nod along, Emily seems to have more fans judging by how loud they are chanting her name.

When told to touch gloves, they slam their fists into their opponent's, showing there isn't much love here between them, returning back to their corners, the crowd cheers when the bell rings to start 10 rounds of bantamweight action.

Round 1:
Circling out their corners looking for openings, both might not particularly care for the other but they show a level of respect to start, probing in the opening twenty seconds to see what the other has to offer.

Kaya looks to step in with a left cross that Emily lean out the way of, instead the first big punches of the round are a jab/right cross from the model that gets corner team grinning as she hits then moves.

The stick and move tactics of Emily are giving her the early advantage, Kaya planting her feet a little too much, when she is missing she is too flat footed which means Emily is able to pop her in the face with beautiful one-two punches.

Getting inside more as the round continues, Kaya is showing Emily what she might have to be most worried about, the hooks under her ribs as Kaya looks to take that spring out of her step, trying to drive back Ratajkowski to the ropes.

Late in the round Emily drills a straight on top of Kaya's head, then lands a left/right cross combo that turns the head of the Brit, who finds herself having to shield herself as Emily starts to unload more on her up till the bell rings, a great strong start for the American as she jogs to her corner grinning.

Round 2:
Resuming back around the center of the ring, Kaya is told to move more on her toes, along with bobbing and weaving more so she can close that gap, it seems to be working as the action is being fought at a closer range early on to the last round.

An overhand right catches Emily to the side of her head, Scodelario drives Emily back into the ropes with three punches into the toned abs of the beautiful model, who needs to shove back Kaya so she can get into space.

Getting a little too keen after that success, Kaya walks into a double jab on her right brow, Emily getting back up on her toes to land several good clean punches right through holes in Kaya's guard to keep her at arms length for the next forty seconds.

As they head into the final minute, Kaya slams a left under the ribs of her opponent, her uppercut doesn't land flush, it does give her the opening to press back Ratajkowski into a corner, where she tries to break her down with more body work.

When the round comes to an end, Kaya looks to be relaxed after a tense opener, Emily meanwhile looks like she is in a sparring session how calm she is, talking to Steve on what went wrong there, nodding along as she listens intently.

Round 3:
Coming back out behind her double jab, Emily is working well on the move, making it a little harder for Kaya to close the distance between them, with her left beginning to cause a small cut above the right eyebrow of the Brit.

Who isn't getting deterred yet, even as she best punches in the opening minute are single punches predominantly to the body of Emily, with Ratajkowski getting her rhythm going again with two to three punch combos landing on their marks more often.

But Kaya dips under a jab to bang in a right hook to the body, an overhand left smacks Emily across her jaw as Kaya presses into her, opening her elbows up as she powers the Vixen into a corner, rifling in body shots that are testing the abs of Emily.

While Emily is able to shove Kaya away enough to move out the corner, she is being crowded to the ropes, where now Scodelario is opening up more to cause Emily to go into her shell more, struggling to keep the heat off her up till the bell rings to end the round.

Emily still looks calm as she sits on her stool, the Vixens seem to have done a great job on her temperament over the winter period, Kaya meanwhile stares hard at her, sensing she is getting a grasp on her opponent.

Round 4:
Kaya is being more aggressive as her confidence levels are growing, she is throwing in more combinations as both women trade in heated exchanges around the middle of the ring to the joy of the fans.

A right pops Emily on her lips, with a left cross/right hook following to turn her head, back goes the model as she finds herself again being driven into the ropes by Scodelario, who is rifling in more body shots to make Ratajkowski groan out.

Clinching for the first time in the fight, Emily grits her gumshield in the first sign of frustration from the model as the referee steps in to break them up, allowing Emily to move back into space for her to work in.

Stepping after Emily, Kaya gets to see that her opponent isn't that badly hurt yet when she sidesteps a straight, Emily lands a left cross/uppercut combo that makes Kaya take a step backwards, needing to reset herself as things switch around with Emily bringing the fight to Kaya.

Less then a minute to go in the round, Kaya is having to box near the ropes, Emily showing off her impressive hand speed to drill in some stunning three punch combos that see her start up top before finishing to the body.

At the bell Emily takes a breath to keep relaxed, knowing for all her hard work so far it is Kaya whose taking the rounds, Steve telling Emily not to loose faith as she is scoring some great punches on her opponent, who is getting her face worked on by Eva as there is some swelling.

Round 5:
As they box around the middle of the ring, Emily seems to have found a target she likes, ramming her jab around the right eye of her opponent, who hisses each time it gets hit cleanly, till some blood starts to trickle from the cut above the right eyebrow of Kaya.

That makes Kaya a little more energetic as she tries to bring the fight more to Emily, banging away to the body of Ratajkowski when she gets to the inside, forcing her near the ropes as she barks in effort, thudding punches show she is going for it.

Getting nudged back by Emily, Kaya takes a left across her face that makes her cry out, tables are firmly turned as Emily now bashes back Kaya across the ring, the actress needing to cover up as blood is running from that cut down the side of her nose, hoping it doesn't go into her eye is her coach as Swank looks deeply worried.

Clinching up when she takes two clean punches around her guard, Kaya is wanting to slow down Emily, the crowd wanting more blood as they yell, but after the fighters are broken up, the ringside doctor gets a chance to check Kaya's cut, deeming it to be OK for now.

It is definitely on the mind of Scodelario though as she doesn't seem able to pull the trigger as much with her right, primarily now throwing jabs or left crosses that ain't getting the job done as Emily simply beats her back with one-two punches square into her face.

At the bell Kaya is relieved to be back on her stool, Eva working hard to stop the bleeding as Kaya is wincing, Emily meanwhile is smiling as she sits on her stool, creating the opening in her mind to end this fight.

Round 6:
Coming out after Kaya will more urgency, Emily is throwing combos as she tries to break down the guard of the more defensive minded Scodelario, who seems to want to try to survive the rush of her opponent before counter attacking.

Problem is a straight feint by Emily allows her to land the left hook on that eye, blood flows again as Kaya cries out, her guard opening as a straight knocks her back a step, THEN AN UPPERCUT SENDS KAYA TO HER BACK!

The crowd go wild as Emily raises her arms into the air with a grin in the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4... Kaya slowly sits up blinking and shaking her head, 5...6...7.. She begins to push herself to her feet, showing her toughness, 8...9. Beating the count just as she raises her gloves, the referee warns her they will stop the fight but she is adamant she can fight on.

Trying to catch out Emily coming at her, Kaya's punches are sloppy as her coordination seem off, instead it's Emily pounding her back into a corner, WHERE THE TOWEL FROM THE GIRLS FRIDAY CORNER FLIES IN, REFEREE ACCEPTS IT AS THEY NUDGE EMILY AWAY TO WAVE THE FIGHT OFF!

Winner Emily Ratajkowski KO Round 6

After:
A stunning stoppage gives Emily a great win to kick off her year, Kaya wondering what happened till the referee explains her corner threw in the towel, her head goes down as she looks bewildered by that even as she looked ready to go.

Emily not happy herself about what happened smiles as she puts her arm around the back of Kaya, leading her on a walk of shame so the crowd can see her swollen right eye with the cut, see how beaten she is at her hands as a reminder to the rest of the division how good she is.

The Girls Friday corner are not happy as Hilary has a go at Emily, who pushes Kaya into her arms, telling Swank "she's yours now, I used her all up" winking before she returns to her corner, making Hilary stare daggers at the winner before she sits Kaya down so Eva can work on her.

In the Vixens corner Steve gives Emily a warm embrace, telling her how proud they are of them, Emily replying "it was never in doubt" smiling as she gives him a kiss on the cheek as a thank you for helping her out tonight.

Once her gloves are off and she has had a drink, Emily struts to the center of the ring, getting her right hand raised as she points at the Girls Friday crew with her left, yelling "that's why they never challenge us, a second rate stable never challenges the best" grinning as she sees that went down like a lead balloon in the Girls Friday camp.

Hilary helps get Kaya out the ring, yelling at Emily from the ring apron "enjoy your moment because Kaya will beat your skinny ass down next time" Ratajkowski replying by waving Kaya to bring it on, watching with a smirk as the Girls Friday camp head up the aisle to the back licking their wounds.

In the ring Emily poses with her hands on her hips, telling the cameras "this is going to be year, no one will stop me claiming the title, especially you Bella f***ing Thorne" giving the camera a middle finger salute aimed at Bella.

Once all that is done Emily steps out the ring with Steve, she seems to get better with each fight, would it be a shock at all if she finally wins the title this year? Pundits ringside seem to be turning more and more behind her that gold could very well be destined for her.
