R1: Dua showing her class--stiff, straight hard jabs banging away on the upper chest and skull of her opponent, Adrianaa blocking a lot of shots, but having a tougher time negotiating distance as Lipa sticks and moves early. Dua boxes to set up her right hand and she starts dialing it in on left side of Lima's jaw this round, turning head hard to starboard. Adriana soaks up a great shot this round--walking through it to land loud against Dua's ribcage, but Lipa's getting most of what she needs to take the first round

R2&3: Adriana with her dukes up at her eyebrows, jutting out a stubby jab as she scoots forward, bending in to pull the right hand over top, bending right to lash the left hook--she's backing Dua to the ropes and simply outworking her girl in the trenches. Lipa composed against the strands, gloves at her cheeks, bent forward at the waist--she's bobbing punches, trying to come up underneath with little fishhook uppercuts to the chest and chin. Nice banging two-way trade, Lima happy to take a shot in order to swing away--she's lashing Dua’s flank, getting the odd clout to jaw as she keeps Lipa
pinned to the ropes.

R4: Dua gets a two-beat combo working very well. Lead right hands, or counter right hands over Adriana's jab set up licking, vicious hooks in the stomach, Lima taking the punches well, but she's getting hit very flush. Lipa with the left across her gut, right at her mouth - she's standing in the pocket, getting the left shoulder in Adriana's chest and letting her wail away wide, calmly riding it out then picking her up clean on the counter. Lima landing on the shoulders or back as Lipa slips along the ropes, checking the chin and tummy at close range.

R5: Adriana asserting dominance, really takes it to Dua bell to bell. Lipa unable to come forward, can’t extend--she’s pressed ropeside, leaning back, gloves up, trying to block the incoming, Lima crouching forward, dipping side to side, pulling in compact wallop from either mitt, driving into the Brit with her shoulder to stack Dua up, then digging furiously amidships when in tight. Ref issuing breaks, Adriana wading back in to keep the pressure on--not pretty, but it’s good, effective mauling. Lima blocked upstairs for the most part, but she’s savaging Lipa to the hips, waist and ribs--good, good body work done by hungry Brazilian this round.

R6: Both girls shining up nicely - swelling evident, grim expressions as they set up shop midring. Adriana not as fancy or flashy, but she's placing the jab stiff and straight to the upperchest, bringing Dua down off her high horse and making her work. Lipa up to the task, stepping left, snapping out a vicious jab off her hip - really spanking back Adriana's face, tarting up those tits with harsh contact. Dua supple in the torso, weaving Lima's shots, rotating under them - she's got her missing more and Dua's making her pay. Nice potshotting stuff off the counter from Lima, sleek right hands out of the closed stance punching into Dua's jugs and body. R7: Adriana up off her stool, bouncing gloves off her firm belly to disparage Lipa's efforts down there, then storms across the ring to continue the assault. Dua crouched, chin tucked, dukes at cheek - she's sliding to her right, then fading - using her feet just enough to keep Lima from setting. Adriana reaching with shots, Lipa shying away from the heat, potting her jab, releasing straight right hands only when they're a sure thing. Midway through, both girls miss right hands, both come back hooks and LIMA GOES DOWN! Mouthpiece punched off Adriana's teeth and sent across the ring - she sprawls on her back, arms stretched out starfish. IT'S OVER! Lipa chest heaving, eyes glaring from the neutral corner - she takes a sweet, sweet KO7 that shows Girls Friday has TWO top-flight lights!
