BEFORE:

"Asylum in Philadelphia," says Cristina with a smile. "Step one in my FCBA career. Can't think of a better place or better opponent. Let's DO this!"

"2021 is going to be a big year for me," says a hard-eyed Kat. "And, that starts tonight!"



ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'To The Top' by Irie Kingz you hear behind us, and here comes the lovely Cristina Rodlo..."

McCarthy: "Yet ANOTHER Dancing Hooker Opponent with NO FCBA wins!"

Cassie: "Rodlo is a girl Uncle Wiz actually talked about signing. So, there's no doubt she has talent..."

McCarthy: "Like Weirdo knows a THING about talent..."

O'Dell: "Cristina into the ring and helped off with the robe to reveal a mint green number that's got the crowd's attention, and, that's 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' by Scissor Sisters hammering through the arena, and here comes Kat 'The Rack' Dennings!"

McCarthy: "A talentless Campbell Clone and, before you say it, Walmart, she got LUCKY. Oh, and SHUT UP, WALMART!"

Tess: "I haven't even SAID anything yet!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as Kat climbs into the ring and is helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve to reveal that curve-hugging black number we've seen before..."

Tess: "Dennings has slipped to number three in the bantam pecking order at Front Street. If she doesn't want to slip further, she needs a result tonight."

O'Dell: "Ladies about ready to go. Time for some picks. Tess likes Kat. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Talentless Campbell Clone! Even a newb can beat her. Rodlo!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, we're underway. No surprise that Kat wants to close and bang. Cristina has the height and reach edge, and she's using it, jabbing, trying to create distance to box. Mexican beauty moves very, very well, Mac. She's got some educated feet it looks like..."

McCarthy: "And, that's PERFECT. That's how you BEAT Campbell and her Clones. MOVE!"

Cassie: "I don't seem to recall that working for YOU, against Neve OR Kat..."

McCarthy: "I. WAS. ROBBED. And, SHUT UP, SCABBO!"

O'Dell: "Dennings resolute. She's working forward, getting inside to bang some body. Rodlo slipping away, getting back to open canvas, where she makes with that long left hand. Cristina absolutely SILKY in the movements. Just so smooth in there. Does not look like a girl in her first FCBA fight..."

Tess: "Definitely has some boxing skills."

O'Dell: "Final twenty seconds of the first round. Rodlo moving, Kat slipping inside, working some body. Cristina ties up. Referee going to get in there and break them apart. Cristina circles, jabs, and there's the bell. Not a ton in it in the first, but it's going to be Rodlo's round and she goes up 10-9."



ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Second round underway. Dennings working inside, working some body. Rodlo trying to keep those exchanges short. She's tying up in there, trying to either slip away or create a break that can get her some space. Mexican beauty using her range very, very well..."

Cassie: "No question about it. She's got a quick, accurate left."

O'Dell: "Add that to excellent feet, and she makes it difficult for someone like Dennings, who wants to close and bang. Kat, though, a veteran who knows how to get to spots, so she's getting inside at times, getting some body work done, landing some shots to the head as well..."

McCarthy: "Referee has to watch for low blows in there! Campbell Clones CHEAT!"

O'Dell: "Coming down the stretch in another competitive round. Rodlo tying up Dennings. Kat shoving off, going back to work on that body. Cristina ties up again, this time gets a break, bounces away, gets back to that jab. Final seconds run off the clock, and there's the bell. Close again. Kat."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19."



ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Pattern set as we move into the third. Rodlo moving, sticking out that jab, and, when she can stop Dennings with it, she gets off quickly and in combination. Mexican beauty showing excellent hand speed along with the good feet and that accurate jab she has..."

Cassie: "This girl ought to be turning heads right now. If you're looking to add a bantam, what doesn't she have?"

O'Dell: "Certainly looks like she has all the tools you need. And, she'd certainly look very, very good on a poster. And, speaking of looking good, that was a good right hand Cristina just landed. Dennings working forward in response, going body in a big way..."

Tess: "Has anyone noticed that Rodlo bears more than a passing resemblance to a girl on the Front Street roster..."

O'Dell: "If you're referring to Chloe Bennet, yes, I think we have..."

Tess: "And, I'm betting Wiz has, too...."

O'Dell: "Final seconds ticking away in the third. Rodlo with another nice combination that stops Dennings, but, just briefly. Kat again moving forward, digs some body when she gets inside. Cristina ties her up. The referee gets in to break them apart and there's the bell. Close. Rodlo."

McCarthy: "And, Cristina back on top 29-28."



ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Right back to it in the fourth. Both fighters continuing to work for terms. Rodlo with the long left, the silky smooth movements. Dennings moving the feet, looking to close and work some body. And, once again, both fighters getting some, but not enough of what they want..."

McCarthy: "Rodlo's game plan is PERFECT. Just keep working and she'll knock OFF this Campbell Clone!"

O'Dell: "Kat cuts the ring and works some ribs and tummy now. Cristina tying up. She's doing that very effectively. Ref gets in there to break them, and Rodlo back on the move, snapping out that left hand, dropping solid rights in behind it as Dennings works to close yet again."

Tess: "Plenty of patience from Kat."

O'Dell: "That's experience for you. She's been in situations like this before. You just keep working, doing what you do. And, that's exactly what Kat's doing right now. Cuts the ring, works some body, lands a solid right to the head in there before Cristina slips away to end the fourth. Close yet again. Dennings."

Cassie: "And, we're even at 38."



ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Rodlo working the left hand as we start the fifth. Good combination there from the Mexican beauty. No question, she has to be turning heads tonight. Of course, with her looks, she's used to that. Kat inside again, hooking the ribs, but Cristina quickly ties her up and forces a break."

Cassie: "Sooner or later, that body work is going to tell. But, at the moment, Rodlo taking the licking and continuing with the ticking."

O'Dell: "All while scoring well herself. Cristina moving, jabbing, so slick and smooth with everything. Kat again cutting the ring, stepping to, working downstairs and then ROCKING RODLO WITH A RIGHT UPPIE! Cristina is hurt and DOWN SHE GOES AFTER A SHORT LEFT HOOK!"

Tess: "That might do it right there..."

O'Dell: "Dennings to a neutral corner. Rodlo down on her back as the referee counts down at her. Three. Four. Five. Six. Cristina rolling to her belly at seven. Eight. Cristina to all fours at nine. TEN! It's OVER! Rodlo can't beat the count and it's OVER! And your winner by KO5 is Kat 'The Rack' Dennings!"

McCarthy: "Lucky! She's just lucky!"



AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Kat Dennings, and, Kat, she's pretty slick..."

Kat (nodding): "She's VERY slick. Give this girl some FCBA fights, and she'll be a contender in this division."

Tess: "But, you've been there before with slick boxers..."

Kat (smiling): "Yeah. Many times. It's all about keeping the pressure on, making them take leather. Sooner or later, I get 'em. Just ask McCarthy."
