Alesha Dixon (Beever's Babes) v Sayuki Matsumoto (Front Street Japan)

Sayuki is a girl who arrived on the BBU scene in 2011 with a massive win against Lisa Maffia, who was then in her prime, won the lightweight title in 2012, then lost it to Miranda Kerr in 2013, tried her luck in FCBA, and hasn’t fought much in Europe since then, her last fight ending in defeat to Alessandra Ambrosio over a year ago, although she put the champion on her back during that fight

Now 35, Sayuki wants another last crack at the BBU, and has been presented with the chance to fight the still gorgeous, but vulnerable, Alesha Dixon, who, at 42 is as fit as ever, although she is less able to take a good punch these days, not quite a jobber, but eminently beatable.

Round 1

The girls set off fairly quickly, Sayuki already seeking Alesha’s body, and in come the punches, good and hard, the Brit getting beaten to the punch from the slim Japanese babe, who certainly knows how to work her girls round the ring, gradually cornering Alesha and unloading with heavy cuffing body punches, and now a couple of solid hooks to that lovely face, Alesha given no option but to fight fire with fire, and she’s landing her own punches in retaliation, Sayuki looking as if she’s actually welcoming the older girls aggression, and she’s landing some really good shots now, Alesha already cut just under her right eye showing the accuracy of Sayuki’s left jab, a powerful punch which she’s using to hammer Alesha’s head backwards again and again, the Brit still coming back at her though, and she’s got Sayuki defending as the clock runs down, landing a sweet combination of jabs at the bell

Round 2

Straight away, both girls are hard at it again, swapping really hard jabs and crosses in the centre of the ring, both trying to gain the upper hand, not wanting to concede a centimetre, but it’s Alesha who gives way first, getting tagged with a thudding left hook to her jaw which sends her teetering backwards, and she’s struggling to set herself, Sayuki having no such problem, clips Alesha again, but not with enough power on that right hander, but she does with her left!  Sayuki hammered Alesha’s cheek with that left hook and floored her, the Brit spread out on the canvas, blood dribbling from her cut cheek, but she’s up again at 7, and steels herself for the onslaught that will surely come – but Sayuki eases off, and may have hurt herself when she mistimed that right hook, so Alesha manages to run down the clock through to the bell, and the Japanese corner looks concerned

Round 3

Sayuki’s still out of sorts, and this is giving Alesha the chance to fully recover from her second round knockdown, the Brit standing off and smacking the Japanese babe with a few sweet jabs, Sayuki covering up, playing a kind of peek-a-boo game behind her gloves, Alesha taking advantage of whatever has befallen the younger girl, and she lands a couple of decent body punches as well to keep Sayuki back in defence, follows up, and gets through to her with a neat one-two, tries the model out with an short uppercut, but Sayuki blocks it, and comes back at Alesha for the first time in the round, gives her two left hooks to her body, and a right to her mouth, and seems happy that she hasn’t hurt herself there, but Alesha takes those punches well, and hits back once again just before the bell, not really hurting Sayuki with her late flurry, but showing she has plenty of fight in her tonight

Round 4

Alesha wants to build on the progress she made in round 3, but Sayuki seems to be all over her from the start this time, ramming hard punches into the Brit’s body straight away, and now she gives her a couple of solid hooks, one left, one right, and another left – and Alesha can’t take the punishment, knocked down and laying on her back, with blood dribbling down her face, although she gets up again at 8, but she’s not looking great, her thighs wobbling as she tries to stand still, fans screaming, “Finish her off Sayuki!” the Japanese girl smiling, looking hard into Alesha’s eyes, and murmuring, “Goodnight, slut!” before crashing another left hook into the Brit’s face, Alesha landing on her back, starfished and unconscious

Result: Sayuki Matsumoto knocked out Alesha Dixon in round 4

After the fight, Sayuki admits that she’d sprained her right wrist in training, but such is her contempt for Alesha, she didn’t even consider withdrawing for the fight, confident that she could beat the 42 year old with one hand

Sayuki struts over to Alesha’s corner post-fight, grabs her hair and pulls her head up and back, “You’re not even fit to kiss my feet, you slut!”, then with her boxing gloves now removed, she slaps the beaten girl’s face back and forth with her left hand whilst holding her head steady by her hair with her right.
