Intro:
Now we see the debut of a woman who has had a hell of a career in her young life, Amy Jackson now seeks to be a top fighter, she takes on Neelam Gill here in Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena.

For those who haven't heard of Amy Jackson, she started off modeling and winning beauty pageants, then switched to being a successful actress in Bollywood, to now being back in the West starring in shows like Supergirl, now can she begin a journey towards a boxing title?

Amy looks relaxed as Anna Woolhouse comes into her locker room to get a word, Amy is shadow boxing with a black hoodie on and tracksuit bottoms on, not exactly looking her sexy self yet, smiling as she stops with her coaches blessing to talk to the reporter.

"My journey in life has led me to this, from fighting in India with some of the actresses who didn't like me for stealing their spots, to coming back home to box, I am so pleased to be making my debut here in the BBU" says Amy as she stretches her arms while talking.

Anna asks how she is feeling about fighting Neelam, Amy replies "I have been doing boxing and kick boxing training for years, so it wasn't exactly hard to get into fighting shape for me, it'll be interesting to get hit for real with the gloves on by someone trained, let's say my fights in India were more hair pulling affairs till I learned that using my fists was better" chuckling when she thinks about those fights.

"Neelam I know has done boxing training too but as she showed in her debut, she isn't exactly great at being hit, I am confident she won't survive me for long" Amy says as she pats Anna on the back, going to get changed as the cameras catch her bare back showing she isn't wearing underwear under her clothes.

As Amy mentioned Neelam's debut didn't go so great, she lost to Maya Jama back in 2018, since then she has been training hard but has struggled to find an opponent, tonight gives her the chance to prove she deserves more fights.

Anna steps into Gill's locker room to find her getting her hands wrapped by her coach, she nods to Anna with a warm smile, saying "welcome Anna, I hope you are rooting for me" both women giggle as they exchange a few jokes on whose side Anna is on.

When they get down to the business of the fight, Neelam admits "it has been frustrating, all the years of working my butt off to do this, to be a top model and fighter, yet I see some unknowns get chances ahead of me, some days you just wanna scream, so I am ready to grab this chance with both hands" clenching her taped right fist.

Asked about how she feels about Amy, Neelam smiles again as she replies "she seems nice enough, I think we met at some function once, all that matters is she wants to use me as a stepping stone as I do her, all that matters is that I am the one climbing up the rankings as she watches me" Anna thanking Neelam for the time.

Fighting time, first out the curtain is Amy to cheers from her fans, she blows kisses to the crowd with her navy blue gloves, wearing a matching string bikini as her hair is in a ponytail, she looks relaxed for this being her first ever pro fight, all that time sparring with Katie McGrath, Odette Yustman and Melissa Benoist on the set of Supergirl helping her out.

Sliding through the ropes into the ring, Amy walks around the ring testing the top ropes by leaning on them till she gets to her corner, fist bumping her coach before getting into her warm up stretches.

Neelam heads through the curtain now with an equally big smile, she jogs down the aisle in a red bikini with matching gloves, her hair also in a ponytail as she gets a rousing reception too, both women popular with the crowd clearly.

She steps into the ring with a bow to each side for the crowd, once in her corner the serious demeanor shows itself, Neelam going through punching drills as her coach is telling her to keep relaxed tonight and she will be hard to beat.

Brought to the center by the referee, Neelam is looking down onto Amy, with both women bouncing on their toes, while they look serious neither is giving the other a hateful look, this is purely business for these two beauties.

That is further shown by the respectful touch of gloves, jogging back to their corners with fans whistling and cheering for the two sexy women, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of lightweight action.

Round 1:
Exchanging a fist bump before they get down to fighting, both start behind a piston like jab as they move up on their toes, both have that textbook orthodox boxer form, the extra reach of Neelam already giving Amy some problems.

Amy drilling in her jab more to the abs of Neelam when she isn't landing as clean as she'd hope up top, just missing with an overhand right as she steps in, Neelam dancing back with a smile on her face, enjoying this challenge it seems or maybe admiring her own footwork for getting out of trouble there.

As the first minute passes by, Neelam is the one getting the upper hand as she doubles up her jab, slamming it into the gloves or square into the face of Amy, who is having to be patient as she tries to close down the ring on her seemingly equally fleet footed opponent.

Stepping in with an overhand left that just misses as Neelam leans out the way, Amy gets peppered to the face with a jab/straight/jab that makes her take a step back, Gill turning up the heat now as she forces Jackson back to the outside of the ring with several combos flying at her, the actress needing to tighten her guard to protect herself.

By the end of the round it is clear Amy is going to need to work out how to get around those arms of Neelam, listening to her coach intently how she does that, meanwhile Neelam herself looks relaxed as she smiles.

Round 2:
The round starts off similar to the last one, Neelam is looking crisp with her punches, even aiming some into the chest of Amy, who is only really getting in small skirmish style attacks before being forced back to the outside.

Moving around the center of the ring, Amy is bobbing and weaving more to dodge, she is too predictable it seems when she tries to launch an attack, Neelam moving back to range each time then countering with a double jab or a one-two into the beautiful face of Amy to make her thing about this.

Moving in with a jab/uppercut combo that knocks back Amy to her heels, Neelam switches to full on attack mode as she works back Amy to the ropes, barking out as she throws a flurry towards the smaller fighter, who needs to duck under to clinch up, referee breaking them up so they can fight on.

Late in the round Amy lands her first great punch of the fight when she slips a jab to land an overhand left on the jaw of the model to turn her head, muscling Gill onto the ropes, Amy bangs away to the body with nasty looking hooks as Neelam grunts out with each clean hit.

At the bell Amy returns to her corner a lot more assured about herself then she would have felt at the start of the round, Neelam not looking too bothered though as she sits on her stool, both being told the little things they need to improve upon.

Round 3:
It looks like things are falling into a pattern, Amy needing to find a way around the reach of Neelam, the smack of leather on leather as Amy does her best to protect her face, which is getting marked up as they box around the center.

Feinting with her left, Amy ducks under the straight that comes her way, then buries in her right into the breadbasket of Gill to make her groan out, Amy stick religiously to the body as she chops away at the bigger woman.

Who nudges back Jackson but is now the one having problems as Amy is feinting more, making Neelam react to what isn't coming, Amy then can dodge and strike in closer, burying more punches into the tummy of the Coventry lass to make her groan out.

Neelam nudged back Amy, then rifles in a one-two flush into the face of the actress, pressing the smaller woman back to the outside as she opens up on Jackson, wanting to pay her back for the abuse she took in the opening two minutes.

Fighting back Amy is digging her feet in as the fighters let their hands go, the crowd cheering the fighters on, at the bell both women hold back with a smirk, nodding as they walk past each other to their corners, enjoying this fight themselves as both are really testing each other.

Round 4:
Stabbing their jabs through the others mitts, Neelam moving more side to side as she tries to not be so easy for Amy to catch, it's becoming a chess match as they step in to work then move back.

Amy ducks under a jab to land a left hook under the ribs of Neelam, then another uppercut into the tummy of Gill has her backing off as Amy comes at her on the inside, pressing the model back into a corner.

Clinching up to Jackson, Gill is happy to have a moment to breath, they break apart clean as Neelam gets out the corner, getting back on the move with her jab stabbing into the face of Amy to mark up her cheeks.

Deflecting a jab Amy moves in with an overhand left on the jaw of Neelam, driving back the model to the ropes, she slams her fists into the breadbasket of Gill to make her groan out, needing to clinch up to stop the assault.

At the bell both women jog back to their corners, Amy is smiling as her coach praises her for turning this fight around, Neelam on the other hand bangs her gloves together to calm herself down as she looks annoyed, nodding to her coach as they discuss the fight.

Round 5:
Needing to change things up to stop this charge in the last two rounds from Jackson, Neelam is moving back firing out her head hunting punches, marking more around the eyes of the actress, especially the left with her straight as she does a good job keeping her at bay.

Amy finds a way around the fists smacking her face as she moves her head out the way of a jab, slamming in a right cross to the side of Neelam's face, she then begins to hammer back the model till she gets shoved to her face by Gill.

Who then lands an uppercut to push Amy onto her heels, slamming punches into the face of Amy now, Neelam is hammering back the smaller woman to the ropes, Jackson grunting out as sweat comes off her head, covering up more tightly when her back touches the ropes, where Neelam is hammering away at her sides.

Forced to hold onto Neelam, there's definitely some swelling starting to form around the left eye of Jackson, referee steps in to split them apart, Neelam giving Amy a shove as well to make sure she doesn't surprise her with a quick restart.

As the round comes to a close, Neelam looks happy that she was able to control the action again, almost breathing a sigh of relief for being able to keep Amy at range, with Amy getting her left eye worked on, nodding as she listens to her coach, one thing for sure is she isn't letting bad rounds effect her yet.

Round 6:
Sticking to what worked in the last round, Neelam is moving around the outside of the ring, peppering the face of her opponent with double jabs and one-two combos, Amy needing to cover up more tightly to protect her left eye.

Stepping in with a straight to the chest of Neelam, Amy is able to press her opponent to the ropes, banging in body shots as she gets her head down, Neelam responds with a shove with her left forearm to the chest of Amy, then hammers in two hooks up top to make Jackson retreat back.

On comes Gill as the momentum is firmly behind her right now, she drives Amy back across the ring as the actress is giving ground under her assault, maybe lacking that one punch knockout but she is stopping Amy doing much then to retreat.

As Neelam gets Amy near a neutral corner, she misses with a right hook as Amy dips down and slams a right of her own into the solar plexus of Neelam, who gasps out as it lands beautifully, the tables have turned as Neelam finds herself being hammered back across the ring.

Her stomach taking predominantly the abuse, when she covers up low Amy swings up top to turn the head of Neelam, who is starting to sag a little into the turnbuckles as she gets battered in the final moments of the round.

At the bell it is hard to say who won the round as both have an argument, Amy ending strong but Neelam hurt her too, both sitting on their stools as both coaches work hard on them, they both can be proud of their efforts tonight as the crowd is chanting each fighters name.

Round 7:
Pushing out their corners to trade around the center of the ring, Neelam still looks a little off from the end of the last round, Amy able to slip her punches easier as the speed doesn't seem to be in them as before, allowing Amy to bang in two left hooks to the ribs, THEN A RIGHT LANDS FLUSH TO THE LIVER OF NEELAM, WHO FALLS TO HER KNEES HOLDING HER BODY!

That was a peach of a punch judging by the agony on Neelam's face, Amy beaming as she jogs to the neutral corner, 1...2...3...4... Neelam spits out her gumshield, rubbing her stomach to try to ease the pain, 5...6...7... Her head is down as her eyes shut, 8...9...10 that's it! Neelam couldn't get up!

Winner Amy Jackson KO Round 7

After:
For two rookies they both gave a great account of themselves, it is Amy who gets the big win to start off her career on the right foot, she raises her arms in the air with her winning smile, even as her left eye is going to be a shiner, she can't hide how happy she is.

On the other hand Neelam is just pleased to feel an ice pack on her body, thanking her coach for that before apologizing for losing this fight, the coach tells her to save the apologies as she did a great job.

Neelam is helped onto her stool as moments later after getting her gloves taken off, Amy comes to check on Neelam, both smiling as they shake hands, Neelam assuring her she will be OK as the subject turns to the fight, no hard feelings over it as they even talk about possibly some day having a rematch.

Returning to her own corner to get her left eye worked on, Amy jokes "glad I am not in front of a camera tomorrow" the coach ruefully smiles as they shake their head, pressing the cold shut on her left eye to reduce the swelling as best they can for now, the coach recommends the weekend off but she better be in training come Monday making both laugh.

Coming to the center of the ring, both women fist bump before standing either side of the referee, where Amy is announced as the winner with the referee raising her right hand, she jumps up to a loud cheer as Neelam sportingly applauds her.

Though it wasn't a good night for Neelam in terms of getting a win on the board, she did look good in this fight after Maya out muscled her in their fight, hopefully she doesn't have to wait so long for her third fight of her career.

In the ring Amy poses for the camera with her fists in the air, a cheeky grin on her face as she enjoys the attention, leaving the ring once that is done, Amy will give up height in this division to a good portion of the women in it, tonight was a good learning curve how she is going to fight people like this, with Amy just ecstatic right now as she blows kisses to the fans on the way to the back.
