SARAH CARTER VS CHLOE GRACE MORETZ

Before: “Why am I fighting this kid Chloe Moretz? Well, why should Mish Williams have all the fun fighting these youngsters?” asks Sarah Carter looking at Chloe like a she-wolf contemplating a stray lamb. “Actually, the fight could help the kid out if she learns from the lessons I am going to try to teach her. My ‘School of Experience’ is painful, but still useful to a youngster.”

Chloe Moretz looks annoyed: “She makes it sound like I just joined the fed which is not true at all. You know, my management wasn’t sure I should accept this fight, but I wanted to do it. Sarah Carter has been around a long time. I might learn some things from her, but she learn something from me—that it’s time to hang’em up.”

“Not yet, kid, not yet,” Sarah replies coolly. “And you won’t be the one to do it.”

“Don’t count on it, old lady,” Chloe snapped.

“You are a feisty one, aren’t you? Well, don’t worry, I like beating down the feisty ones, it’s much more satisfying than beating down a wimpy jobber.”

“Well, I am no wimp and no jobber, so we are agreed on that,” Chloe retorted.

“See you in the ring, kid,” Sarah said.

“Yeah, see you, old lady,” Chloe fired back.

On the night of their fight, Sarah Carter entered the ring in a red bikini with matching red gloves and boots. Sarah’s hair was pulled back in a simple ponytail. Chloe Moretz was a skimpy bikini, red top and blue bottoms with blue boots and gloves (red laces). Her hair was in a ponytail. The ring instructions are cool, but correct. Gloves are tapped and the fighters go to their corners. The bell rings…

R1: Chloe and Sarah out to center of the ring. Chloe striking first with some good snapping right/left combos to Sarah’s chin. Sarah swats at Chloe to the head, forcing the younger fighter to pull back, but she quickly returns with a burst of hooks into Sarah’s midsection. Sarah now pulls back, but strikes at Chloe to the jaw as she tries to pursue. Chloe circles around and catches Sarah with a solid right to the side of the head that puts a wobble into Sarah's step. Chloe attacks with the jab aimed at Sarah’s head and jaw. Sarah tries to jab back, but has to give ground as Chloe’s jabs seem to be more effective. Two are circling, mitts up around head as they trade punches to the breasts as the round comes to an end. Close one, but the judges give it to Chloe Moretz by a close margin.

R2: Chloe aggressive at the outset of the round. She goes for Sarah’s jaw and chin, scoring with a nice right/left combo that has Sarah covering up. Then Chloe goes hard for the Sarah’s belly. Sarah falls back, bent forward at the waist, but then catches Chloe with a clouting right cross to the jaw. Chloe staggered which gives Sarah a few precious seconds to recover and then lunge at Chloe aiming for her belly. Chloe struck hard by Sarah Carter hooks, but digs in and gives it right back. Sarah and Chloe pounding each other to the torso. Sarah tries to slip in a right uppercut to Chloe’s jaw, but Chloe blocks it with her left and drives her own right uppie into Sarah’s chin. Sarah back on her heels. Chloe following up with more body shots that keep Sarah buttoned down to the bell. Chloe Moretz pulls out another close round.

R3: Sarah Carter is looking more than little annoyed at the trouble she’s gotten from young Chloe Moretz. The new round opens with Sarah shooting out of her corner and going at Chloe with a barrage of punches. Chloe finds herself being rung up head and body in a bewildering onslaught of leather. Chloe manages to swing around Sarah to thwart being driven back into her own corner. She makes it to midring and tries to slow Sarah up with her jabs, but Sarah is bobbing and weaving very well. At the same time, she keeps landing solid blows to Chloe’s jaw, head and body. The bell finally sounds and Chloe Moretz is left breathing hard as sweat drips off her aching body. Sarah gives Chloe a fierce look and then stomps to her corner.

R4: If Sarah Carter can use blitz tactics, so can Chloe Grace Moretz! Chloe out of her corner like a rocket and plows into a clearly surprised Sarah. Chloe with machine gun hooks into Sarah’s belly and ribs, Sarah doubled forward and her butt thrust into her own turnbuckle. Now Chloe brings uppercuts into Sarah’s chin snapping the veteran’s head back again and again. Sarah looks to be in major trouble, but she responds to the crisis by wrapping her arms around Chloe and spinning the two of them back towards the middle of the ring. Referee rushes in to break up the “clinch” (it looked more like a bearhug!). This has gotten Sarah out of her own corner, but the fired-up Chloe attacks again, ringing Sarah’s bell with powerful right/left combos to the chin. Sarah trying to jab Chloe back, but it’s not stopping the younger blonde. Sarah finally just covers up and waits for the round to end. Chloe books the round with a wide win.

R5: Now Chloe and Sarah are both out fast from their corners at the bell. They collide a center ring with a rapid-fire series of body shots. The body punching continues as the two move in closer and soon they are toe to toe lifting shirt right and left hands to drive leather into ribs, bellies and breasts. The two are just down in the trenches slugging it out. No sneaky uppercuts this round, they just stand there and try to break each other to the body, Sarah able to set her feet better and leverage this to gain punching power. Slowly but surely she is pushing Chloe back as the bell rings. It’s another close round, but this time it is Sarah Carter who pulls out the win.

R6: Sarah and Chloe again out quickly, but this time, Sarah feints to the body as though to resume the battle of attrition. Chloe’s attention shifts down and then BAM! Sarah BLASTS an right uppercut into Chloe’s unsuspecting chin. Chloe goes up on her tiptoes as her head snaps back. Sarah then pounds into Chloe’s midsection, jackknifing her at the waist and then driving her into the ropes, Chloe trying to brace herself in the ropes, but Chloe smashes her hard to jaw befoire Chloe can get her mitts up. CHLOE GOES DOWN! Chloe’s knees have buckled and dropped her to the canvas. Chloe on her knees, leaning back against the ropes and looking glassy-eyed. Sarah trots to the neutral corner, Referee moves in and counts. Chloe pulls herself together and uses ropes to rise in order to break the count at “NINE!” Referee waves Sarah back in. Chloe tries to get away, but Sarah has her blocked and forces Chloe to slide along the ropes in a futile attempt to find an escape route, Sarah stuns Chloe with two more shots to the chin and with that Chloe’s gloves sag to her sides. Sarah banging Chloe’s head from side to side as ringsiders scream for the referee to stop this! AND REFEREE JUMPS IN! Chloe is cradled to safety as Sarah steps back and raises her arm in victory,

THE WINNER SARAH CARTER DEFEATS CHLOE GRACE MORETZ TKO6!

After: “I’ll admit the kid gave me trouble at times, She hits decently and shows spirit, but I broke her down as the fight went on. Good thing the ref stopped it when he did, she was helpless and might have gotten seriously hurt.” Sarah Carter says after the fight.

A revived Chloe Moretz says later: “I know I could have beaten her if I hadn’t fell for her feint at the start of the 6th. She got me good and I was hearing bells the rest of the way, I am disappointed I lost, but I gave her a good fight and I know I can be a winner next time out.”

It was an interesting fight for Chloe Moretz fans. The veteran Sarah Carter was in trouble at several points, but not enough trouble for her to go down. Chloe did fall for a veteran trick and it likely cost her the fight. So it would appear that Sarah Carter did each Chloe Moretz a good, if painful lesson. Not sure how many more regular FCBA fights Sarah Carter has left, but she did show she can beat younger, talented fighters. If she does turn Cougar—those ladies better look out!
