Emily DiDonato vs. Kendall Jenner

Results: Lookout!; Story: Fates

Emily DiDonato: 30 years old, 5’10”, 30-12 since 2017, Fates Boxing

Kendall Jenner: 25 years old, 5’10 ½” 50-19 since 2016, Girls Friday

Before:

“She’s beaten me twice.” Kendall acknowledges her prior shortcomings against Emily, “But she lost to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, which should automatically drop her out of the top tier of fighters. And tonight, I’m going to make sure that I score my first win against Emily and make sure she pays for her previous victories. I’ve vanquished Taylor Swift. I’ve beaten Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The only girl left at Fates is Emily. Tonight, I’m going to knock Emily Dildo out cold and make sure she never messes with me again. She just turned 30. I ruined Taylor’s birthday, I’m going to ruin Emily’s.”

Kendall leans back, not even paying attention to Emily as the Fates girl picks up her mic and looks at Jenner. “Losing to Rosie was tough,” DiDonato starts, making for an interesting press conference as both top girls start by talking about losses. “But I’ve had your number, Kendall. And I’m desperate for a win to get back on track after two weeks ago. And that’s the last place you want to fight me at. Beating you separates me from the other girls in my stable. Beating you is something that Taylor has struggled to do, and I am not going to be in her shadow. So tonight, it’s not just about you and me. It’s me making a point to my stable.”

Jenner merely laughs, “Well, I’m going to welcome you to 30 by making you lose and acknowledge your superior model.” And with that, Jenner gets up and leaves the press conference as DiDonato is fuming.

The arena has a big fight feeling to it as the match is announced, and the crowd breaks into dueling chants. The crowd knows that this is a fight that may well be for the next spot in line for the lightweight title, and Emily stopping Kendall three straight times would be nothing less than impressive. Emily DiDonato is the first girl to make her entrance, the normally relaxed brunette striding towards the ring with laser focus before taking off her robe to reveal a peace sports bra and matching trunks with matching gloves, her hair in a bun for the fight. The crowd grows louder as Emily’s fans cheer.

Moments later, Kendall Jenner steps out from the back, and the crowd absolutely explodes, but the model doesn’t seem to notice. Like Emily, she keeps her focus on the ring, swinging her legs over the ropes before taking off her robe, the model revealing a black sports bra and matching spandex with white gloves. The two models stare daggers at each other, and the referee sighs and tells the two to back off. They both retreat and off we go for ten rounds of lightweight action!

Round 1:

Both tall models get out of their corners quickly and start circling, each girl jabbing out with a purpose. While DiDonato is one of the biggest girls in the lightweight division, Jenner is slightly taller and has a longer reach, and she gets the better end of the jabs early. Emily changes tactics, planting her feet and feinting right before driving a left off of Kendall’s right glove before it eventually tags Kendall in the nose. It’s far from full force after the deflection, but it’s enough to knock Kendall off balance and that’s all the space Emily needs to bury two vicious rights into Kendall’s toned midriff. Jenner winces and covers her face just in time to block a left from DiDonato. Kendall counterpunches, her strike glancing off of Emily’s right ear as she steps forward, giving DiDo an easy shot to Jenner’s head before following up with two blows into Jenner’s ribs and the Girls Friday fighter has to clinch, not wanting the opposing model to punish her body any further. The referee separates the two models, and they resume circling, probing the other’s defenses as they both look for an opening and the bell rings. DiDonato takes the first round in this battle between elite lightweights as she looks to make it three straight against Jenner.

Round 2:

The second round begins the same as the first, but the pace is increased and the slimmer Jenner turns up the tempo and starts closing the distance between herself and DiDonato, tagging the Fates model’s body. DiDonato shifts right and sticks a left into Jenner’s body, but the younger model drives a right into DiDonato’s jaw and Emily nearly goes down! DiDonato stumbles backwards and keeps her guard up to protect her head, and Jenner works her body with a pair of withering body shots before Emily finds a punch through to Kendall’s face, just under her left eye, forcing Kendall to pause her offensive and allowing DiDonato to clinch and force a break. The two girls reset and they return to circling, with Kendall aiming most of her jabs at Emily’s head but not finding much as the Fates girl keeps her guard strong and finds counters whenever she can, but by the time the bell rings, it’s clear that Kendall won the round on points, evening things up.

Round 3:

DiDo starts out the second by methodically circling to her right, and Jenner matches her. Both girls go back to prodding the other’s defenses, though the number of jabs are heavily in favor of Kendall. Emily seemingly isn’t worried about the disparity in the number of blows as Kendall breaks the circling patterns and drives right at Emily, catching the brunette in her jaw and making Emily cover up. Kendall drives two blows into Emily’s ribs – and her head snaps backwards as DiDonato fires back with a big right haymaker. Jenner stumbles backwards and gets her gloves up in time to protect her head from a follow-up left from DiDonato. Emily’s blow bounces off of Kendall’s gloves, and the Fates girl shifts her focus to Kendall’s body, sinking two body blows into Jenner’s midriff. Jenner winces from the strikes but stays strong and drives a left across DiDonato’s chest, buying her enough time for a clinch. Time in the round expires and the two girls disentangle themselves as another round goes to Emily DiDonato.

Round 4:

Both girls eagerly get out of their corners and this time, there is no slow methodical start to the round as both girls start trading body blows. DiDonato works her way in close to Jenner, jamming up the taller girl’s arms a bit as Emily picks a spot on Kendall’s ribs and goes to town on it, beating a tattoo into her left side. Kendall winces with each blow from Emily, and no matter what Jenner does, her blows to DiDo’s body don’t seem to have any effect. Kendall goes for the clinch with Emily, but just as she goes to wrap her arms around the bulkier model, Emily backs off and drives a big right into Kendall’s nose. Jenner reels backwards, and DiDonato steps forward, only to take a right to her cheek as Kendall finally gets enough room for her jabs to get going. The bell rings and the two girls stare at each other for a moment before heading back to their corners, with Emily coming out on top yet again.

Round 5:

As the fight nears its halfway mark, Emily looks to press her lead as she steps forward, chasing down Kendall as she looks to wear down the slimmer model. Jenner sees what DiDonato aiming for and adjusts her strategy accordingly, moving around to limit how many power punches Emily can land. DiDonato keeps up the pursuit, landing short blows into Jenner’s body. Kendall’s left arm hits out at Emily, but she barely clips the bigger brunette and is forced to clinch. The referee separates the two girls and Emily goes right back after Kendall – and gets her head snapped backwards as Jenner connects with all of a straight right that sends DiDonato backwards! The crowd roars as they sense the change in the dynamics of the fight and Kendall pounces – unleashing two blows into Emily’s head before the Fates girl can cover up and Kendall instantly shifts her focus to Emily’s body, pounding her into the ropes and Jenner is going to town as DiDonato is covering up! The crowd roars even louder, drowning out the sound of the bell that somehow Kendall hears as it mercifully saves Emily from a further pounding during the round. Kendall Jenner making a statement in the back half of the round, winning it on points.

Round 6:

Kendall speeds out of her corner and Emily shoots out a wild right that whiffs terribly and leaves herself open to a right from Kendall that nearly spins the Fates model’s head around. DiDonato covers her head as Jenner alternates between pounding on the older girl’s guard and driving blows into her body, absolutely pounding the Fates girl. DiDo gasps with each strike to her torso and feels her back press into the ropes, where Kendall splits Emily’s guard with a big right and before the brunette can respond, Jenner connects with a left uppercut that drops Emily down! Kendall gets the first knockdown of the fight and Emily is dazed on the canvas, her eyes blankly looking at the ref as he starts counting. Something clicks when he counts out five and the brunette scrambles to grab on to the ropes, beating the count at the count of eight. The ref makes a brief assessment and then waves Kendall back in, who ducks a right from Emily before unleashing a straight right to Emily’s nose, drawing blood from the older model. DiDonato covers her face up but Jenner is ruthless, plunging leather into DiDo’s solar plexus that plasters a look of agony onto the brunette’s face. Kendall splits Emily’s guard with a right and knocks her into the ropes, the blood from Emily’s nose staying on Kendall’s gloves. DiDonato’s guard is dropping and Jenner fires off an uncontested barrage of blows to Emily’s face and the ref steps in as Emily sags down in the ropes! Kendall Jenner finally beats Emily DiDonato in brutal TKO6 fashion!

After:

Kendall has a wide smile across her face as she raises her gloves and claims victory over the one girl who had defeated her twice in 2020. Jenner takes multiple laps around the ring as DiDonato is helped to a stool, and the victorious model eventually mounts the turnbuckle in the Girls Friday corner to thunderous applause. Emily eventually is able to stand and finds Kendall getting right in her face, the Fates girl trying to hide her watery eyes as Kendall leans in and whispers into Emily’s ear, “You’re lucky I’m not going to humiliate you like Taylor. I could if I wanted to, but you’re not worth it.” Kendall gets out of the ring, heading right to an interview, and she is clearly fired up.

“People were asking if I would be able to come back after losing to Kate,” Kendall starts, then her eyes flash, “Well, let me give you a broken Emily ‘Dildo’ DiDonato. I’ve beaten her, I’ve buried Taylor, I’ve beaten Rosie. Heck, I’ve beaten all the girls at Fates, whose girls were in lightweight title fights for a full year, with Taylor and Emily each reigning. So, when is my title shot?” With a statement win and having made her point, Kendall walks off, a title shot clearly in her future.

Emily, meanwhile, is being hidden by the Fates staff, but while they can hide Emily from the flashing cameras and the questions, they can’t hide the model’s sobs as she deals with her second major loss in a row this month, just days after turning 30.
