Amanda Holden vs Geri Halliwell

BEFORE: Garnet Gunners' Amanda Holden was thought to be semi-retired but then made a shocking return on the COVID Relief card last year where she notched up a rare win. Fast forward few months and she celebrated turning fifty years old by showing off her bikini curves to create a small buzz on social media. That prompted instant behind-the-door response from Geri Halliwell, UK's most famous redhead cougar of them all:

"Look, I know some of these gals are not getting any younger but c'mon! Amanda is not the next Liz Hurley and never will be. I'll send her right back to her jacuzzi where she can post more bikini pics - but that won't hide the lumps & cuts I give her tonight!

Geri has retired from active FCBA duty but hasn't closed the door on her BBU career just yet. The Lioness Club has targeted a low-hanging fruit according to BBU TV's Georgie Thompson but the former Spice Girls singer has definitely earned the right to pick her own battles at this stage of her impressive career!

Amanda Holden wears a teal green one-piece swimsuit & black gloves. Long blonde hair in loose waves. Geri Halliwell wears a white bikini set & red gloves. Long bright red hair loose & straight. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Geri comes out firing and tries to knock the blonde's head off with her initial burst. Lioness coach Mel B. is the loudest person in the area and urges her ex-bandmate to pick Amanda off as often as possible but Geri just can't land that big punch quick enough and gets swamped into a counter-punching response as the Portsmouth actress responds with an overhand effort. Both cougars punish each other in spirited but power-lacking fashion until Geri finally manages to wobble her foe to the side following a nasty shot on the ear. Amanda stumbles to her heels and gets driven onto the ropes after Halliwell tackles her to the body with a rare switch downstairs. The blonde tries to punch herself out of the hole but eats an uppercut stinger and allows the Watford redhead to clean out her breadbasket for remainder of the round.

Round 2:
More aggressive swings from Halliwell who stays in the head-hunting lane but has trouble dropping that all-important bomb on target and allows Amanda to score meaningful counter-punching points down the stretch. Both women focus on the aerial strikes early on but Geri eventually makes the switch downstairs and starts thumping the blonde to the body in effective fashion. Holden has a hard time embracing that series and ends up backed onto the ropes where she headlocks the singer in order to interrupt her charge. Geri scowls in anger but still whacks the actress in the groin and the ref lectures her instead of the subdued blonde. "Stupid bytch! What the hell are ye doin'?", not much love from Geri at the bell and Amanda pretends she doesn't know what's that all about.

Round 3:
Geri wants to dominate another early charge and Amanda's counter-punching approach allows her to swing uncontensted efforts during the opening minute. But most of these punches slice thin air and Halliwell begins to lose steam which favors Amanda's comeback. She launches a left/right uppercut combo into the singer's chin before driving a brutal hook into her rack... ugh... Geri stumbles forward and gasps for air while Amanda nails her across the nose and pounds all the way into the turnbuckle where she applies the gut-checking heat herself which leaves the redhead slumped for remainder of the round. Ugh! Punching resistance usually is the paramount issue in any given cougar fight and Geri falls into the same trap as Holden cripples her into loud spasms late in the third.

Round 4:
Amanda jumps for another body assault and stuns the singer with a proper jug muggin' series that carries upstairs and catches her on the chin as well. Geri sinks on soft knees and shrieks through a steady gut-checking drive before Amanda drills her in the solar plexus one time too many... GERI TURNS BACK AND STUMBLES TO HER KNEES!!! Coach Mel B. that was purely accidental but ref has seen the punch that caused the singer's fall and the count is on!!! Geri is up at five and claims she slipped but she's not fooling anyone here! Off we go and Amanda blows into the redhead's face with a thundering venom and pounds the ailing foe onto the ropes where she truly wants to knock her head off! Geri scowls through another blasting drive as Amanda actually splits her mitts and bangs one cruel punch after another to leave Geri's face matching her hair color but the big haymaker escapes the Portsmouth cougar and Halliwell is saved by the bell after all...

Round 5:
Geri doesn't have that aggressive charge in her anymore and gets swamped by the blonde's body assault pressure again; Halliwell tries to land a desperate haymaker of her own but is too slow to stretch her elbows and gets pounded into a standstill by the blonde rival who simply wants it more at this stage. Amanda barks in her efforts and finally catches the Watford singer on the nose before driving another gut shot in the liver area and Geri bursts into tearful spasms... she drops her arms by her aching tummy so Amanda can blow her away with a left hook on the eye... Halliwell's legs simply give way and she CRUMBLES IN A HEAP at the blonde's feet and this time it's all over. KO5 Amanda Holden!!!

AFTER: Mel B. is furious in the Lioness corner and claims Geri would be better off hanging 'em up for good! However the fallen readhead is in no position to respond as she lays flat on her back with eyes closed while Amanda plants her foot on top of her stomach and poses for the cameras: "Get that jacuzzi ready! I'm sooo coming for a hot bath! I totally fookin' deserved it!"

BBU TV's Georgie Thompson admits Amanda deserved her moment in the sun but concludes the Portsmouth native can only rely on cougar fights going forward while there's no genuine hope for Geri who seems to be well past her sell-by date at this point of her career.
