BEFORE: Since Toni Garrn has run into a wall results-wise this season it's time for the other Eagles welterweight to showcase her talents again - Lorena Rae vows to destroy the Sports Illustrated legend Elsa Benitez as she seeks more opportunities on the other side of Atlantic: "It's a problem, Damaris Lewis is busy with the Diamond Tournament so she might not defend her BBU title anytime soon while I got passed over for the selection so I what else I'm gonna do? Thankfully Elsa came over and she's pretty honest about her boxing ideas. It's not 2002 anymore so I hope to knock her out tonight!" (giggles).

The Mexican swimsuit modelling admits she's swinging for the fences right now but confirms she was contacted by other stables and might not head back to the Western hemisphere before adding more fights to her resume. BBU TV's Denise van Outen suggests the Romanian Invasion is very much interested in booking Elsa on one of their cards but let's hope the Mexican cougar doesn't look too far ahead or else Lorena will simply run her over tonight!

Lorena Rae wears a red bikini set with golden trim & golden gloves. Long light brown hair tied in a braid. Elsa Benitez wears a light blue one-piece swimsuit with silver trim & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Both women refuse to engage in proper slugging test during the opening minute and the tape on Elsa is minimal enough Lorena doesn't want to risk getting caught by a wild power punch here while the Mexican tourist settles down in a half-hearted head-hunting assault the German model blocks off with ease. The back & forth exchange continues until Lorena begins to crank up the jabbing volume and dissects the older brunette's high guard with several single shots but Elsa holds her ground and avoids getting backed onto the ropes. Lorena still doesn't apply full throttle and is happy enough reverting back to conservative swings from behind the guard which earns her immediate criticism from Denise van Outen in the BBU TV booth.

Round 2:
Lorena gets more aggressive with her head-hunting assault and begins to split the Mexican's guard on a repeated basis during the opening minute but Elsa threatens to land one of these powerful haymakers on the counter as she refuses to yield real estate despite the German's sustained pressure. She clinches Lorena in the center of the ring before dropping a couple of vicious harpoons to the body. Ugh! Lorena tries to spin out of the trap but gets drilled on the jaw with a quick cross hook and Benitez whacks her up the chimney thereafter which drops the German onto the ropes. Uh! Lorena blows a single recovery shot on the Mexican's nose but gets swamped by a steady harpoon drive on the midsection and has to clinch the older brunette to prevent her from stealing the round on points outright.

Round 3:
Elsa drops the early hammer and catches the younger model across the mouth before driving another belting drive into her guts. Lorena wobbles forward and bangs her chin against the Mexican's shoulder but she struggles to embrace the relentless body assault that dominates the action going forward. Benitez traps the reeling opponent onto the ropes and works her stomach over to the point Rae can only shriek in discomfort but she simply can't punch herself out of the hole and this time Elsa makes sure the local favorite feels all the heat and then some... she belts the trapped foe in the guts several times and leaves Lorena nursing visible reddish bruises on the otherwise toned abs!

Round 4:
Lorena still looks vulnerable while getting whacked in the midsection but she does enough damage over the top to neutralize Elsa's downstairs attack. She finally uses the longer reach into a clear advantage and begins to smack the Mexican's head around to the point Benitez has to yield real estate but pays a noticeable price when her left eye begins to swell half-way through the round. She doesn't quite match Rae's speed and the frustrated German cashes in with more accurate head shots hassling the older brunette around the ring. Elsa becomes desperate late in the going and swings some sky hooks but only cuts thin air and gets clobbered back to the ropes as Lorena tags her on the mouth from point-blank range instead.

Round 5:
Lorena begins to outwork the stubborn Mexican cougar who still seeks more success downstairs and manages to drill the German's liver area before an accidental clash of heads sends her back. Lorena fires a left/right combo over the top and stacks up more punches on the swollen left eye which begins to bother Benitez down ths stretch. Meanwhile the younger model keeps sending the head-hunting assault and finally breaks the Mexican's resilience when she lands one crisp double on the nose too many. Elsa bends to the side with a whimper but misses with her hooking approach and eats a brutal uppercut on the chin instead... she stumbles onto the ropes and Rae duly chops her in the boobs to deliver a one-sided beating in the closing seconds that leaves the Mexican gasping for air at the bell.

Round 6:
Elsa tries to bide her time in order to reload her batteries but Lorena's slugging approach results in more brutal punishment crippling the Mexican cougar in close range. Elsa tries to slug it back at the local model but only lands a couple of single shots and begins to leak blood when Rae nails her across the mouth. Ugh! If the eye swelling wasn't enough... Elsa tries to leap into mid-range safety but Lorena is too quick for her and delivers another head-hunting blast that knocks the Mexican against the turnbuckle... Benitez tries to deke away one last time and then soaks up a booming hook on the rack that sinks her into loud spasms... Lorena barks in delight and nails the ailing foe in the navel before looping a left hook on the eye... DOWN GOEZ BENITEZ!!! The proud cougar gets dropped on her bums in the corner and spits out her gumshield when the count reaches seven. She shakes her head in visible frustration and the ref duly calls the bout off! KO6 Lorena Rae!!!

AFTER: One might argue Elsa could have made a better recovery effort but why bother to delay the ineviteable? Lorena has taken over the offensive dominance and there was no point for Elsa to suffer more damage as she was unlikely to come back and knock the German model out. Elsa admits this much as she still gives her conqueror a warm hug during the official verdict announcement.

BBU TV's Denise van Outen learns during the post-event VIP party that Alina Vacariu is considered as top target for Lorena but Elsa could actually step in first as the Romanian contender seeks a less demanding opponent to shake off the ring rust. Watch this space!
