ROSIE HUNTINGTON WHITELEY VS MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD

Results: Lookout Writing: Archer

Rosie: 33 YO, 5’9 (1.75 m), 14-10-0, 14 KO since 2012, Fates Boxing

Mary: 36 YO, 5’8 (1.73 m), 60-51-0, 54 KO since 2007, Foxfire Boxing

Before: “To think there is a Lightweight supermodel in the FCBA for as long as Rosie has been-and I h-ave not taken the opportunity to beat her up. Well, Rosie, your day has come,” Mary tells Rosie Huntington-Whiteley with cheerful menace.

“I am not the least afraid of you, Winstead. Plenty of models have beaten Mary: Alessandra Ambrosio, Alexis Ren, Kate Upton and Anllela Sagra to name four. I see no reason I cannot be the latest to take Winnie Winstead down.”

“I think of two big reasons,” Mary said holding up her fists.

“I am intimidated now,” Rosie says dismissively.

“You’ll getting yours ‘Sweet Rosie’ and I’m going to enjoy stretching you out on the canvas,” Mary said ominously.

“’Mouthy Mary’ has had her big mouth shut down more than once. I’ll be happy to do it, too,” Rosie retorted..

Two finish the pressure glaring at each other. Fans stirred up by the pre-fight conflict and the crowd buzzed with excitement on Fight Night. The fighters entered the ring and removed their robes. Rosie was in a royal blue bra and panties with matching gloves and boots (white laces). Her hair was in a battle braid. Mary in dark blue-gray bra and panties with white boots and gloves (dark blue laces). Mary’s bobbed hair was loose but wetted down.

The referee proceeded through the ring instructions without delay. Mary and Rosie tapped gloves and walked quickly to their corners. The bell rang and the fighters came out quickly…

R1: Mary and Rosie quickly lash at mid-ring. Rosie using her long reach to strike at Mary to the head. Mary trying to duck under these shots to lift uppercuts into Rosie’s chin. Rosie rocked twice by these uppercuts and falls back on shaking legs. Mary quick to advance in pursuit, but takes sharp countering jabs from Rosie to her face. Mary trying to circle Rosie, but Rosie now keeping up with her in even trading to the body. Then Mary pounds in the hooks to the lanky models midsection, bending her forward at the waist and going to sides of the head, Rosie has her mitts up to block most of these, but Mary slips in a uppercut to the chin late. The bell sounds. Close round, but MEW wins it.

R2: Mary now pressing Rosie hard and in-close as the new round gets going. Rosie knocked back on her heels and doubled forward by the leather pounding her abs. However, Rosie rallies in the middle minute and makes Mary’s head snap back with uppercuts to the chin. Mary in retreat as Rosie advances, aiming her shots at Mary’s head. Mary hit but lashes back with overhand rights and lefts that smack Rosie hard in the face and stall her attack. Mary and Rosie then pound each other to the rib cage and stomach with Mary forcing Rosie to give ground as the round closes. Another close round and again Mary Winstead gets the win.

R3: RHW shows MEW she can be aggressive in close too. As soon as the bell rings, Rosie is across the ring and slamming her gloved fists into Mary’s body. Mary looks surprised and is driven back by the sheer intensity of Rosie’s attack. Punches are mainly striking Mary to the body, breasts, ribs and stomach. Mary finally gets her counters going and gives Rosie body punching right back. Trading rages until Rosie suddenly goes to the jaw with a big right hand that strikes home and sends Mary spinning to one side. Mary covers up as Rosie goes back to the body. Mary answering late hooks to Rosie’s body, but they aren’t enough. After the bell, Rosie is ruled to have won the close round.

R4: Mary comes charging out of her corner, clearly eager to regain control of the bout, but Rosie now using that long reach to strike effectively at Mary’s head. Mary looks dazed as repeated shots from Rosie swivel her head one way and then the other. Rosie then charges in hoping to get a finisher into Mary’s chin, but Mary is able to block these. Rosie then does to the body and shells away at Mary’s torso, trying to drive her into the ropes. Mary able to use jab to stop this effort, but Rosie ends the round with another lightning strike right to the head that swivels Mary’s head in a spray of sweat. Rosie wins this round wide.

R5: Mary more cautious coming at Rosie this round. She circles as she and Rosie exchange quick shots to head and body. Rosie then comes in on Mary and the two are fighting at close range with their elbows moving in and out like piston rods as they go after each other to the body. Mary and Rosie keeping even, but then Rosie gets enough extra into hooks to the belly to send Mary stumbling back bent over at the waist. Mary stabilizes her defenses and they are again going at punch for punch at the bell. However judges conclude it Rosie who had the better of this round by a narrow margin and she is awarded the round.

R6: Rosie looking confident as she comes out of her corner and looks to attack Mary at mid-ring. Mary looking grimly determined. She is bobbing and weaving making herself a harder target for Rosie. Rosie looks annoyed and starts to lunge at Mary to get her leather in her elusive foe. Mary still elusive and Rosie making more and more lunges, but then as she makes one too many lunges, Mary is there with a sledgehammer right to the chin. Rosie is caught flush and goes teetering back. Mary smashes rights and lefts to Rosie’s jaw! ROSIE CRASHES TO THE CANVAS. Rosie topples sideways and curls up on the canvas. Mary to the neutral corner as referee moves in. Rosie raises herself up to lean on one arm as she looks around in confusion, but she can’t seem to rise any higher.

“EIGHT!...NINE!...TEN!...YER OUT!” cries the referee

MARY ELIZABETH WINSTEAD DEFEATS ROSIE HUNTIGTON-WHITELEY KO6!

After:

“Another model bites the dust courtesy of Mary Elizabeth Winstead,” gloating Mary declares as she pulls an unhappy Rosie Huntington-Whiteley off her stool for a walk of shame.

“I’m coming, I’m coming,” Rosie complains, not happy at Mary’s tight grip around her waist.

“Stop whining and look pretty for the fans,” Mary said as they march along.

“I don’t need advice from you at looking pretty,” Rosie snapped.

“Just move it along,” Mary said, “I do so enjoy this part. I should have made it a Body Saddle Match. You models look so great with a Body Saddle on your backs,” Mary was chattering.

“Dream on, Winstead, I look forward to the day I strap you in and ride you for all these people to see my triumph,” Rosie retorted.

“You’re the one dreaming, Rosie, but I will keep your interest in mind. You just never know when a Body Saddle bout might come along,” Mary said. “Now let’s just settle for the Walk. Onward m high stepping strutter!”

“Oooo you!” Rosie fumed.

Actually this was a close fight most of the way with plenty of toe-to-toe action, but Mary Winstead able to get at Rosie’s chin in the 6th. This set up a dramatic KO and another win for the Foxfire Lightweight. Very encouraging very for MEW. No doubt a disappointment for RHW, but she was very competitive in this fight and fans will be looking to see if she can bounce back in future fights.
