BEFORE:

"It was tough," says Tracy with a shake of the head, "Not getting any fights last year. It's been tough without management. But, I'm back in the ring, and I plan to make a big enough splash to get some managers' attention."

"Here's where Tracy and I agree," says Chloe with a smile. "She should absolutely be managed. She's one of the better bantams in the FCBA. But. Tonight? She's in with the very BEST bantam in the FCBA."

ROUND ONE:

O'Dell: "Back at ringside and that's 'Blitzkrieg Bob' by the Ramones and that can only mean that Winnipeg's Tracy Spiridakos is headed to the ring!"

Cassie: "Tra-CEE! Tra-CEE! Tra-CEE!"

Tess (laughing): "And, for those who might have forgotten, Tracy and Cassie used to be stablemates at Bazz..."

O'Dell: "Which is why Spiridakos just bumped fist to glove with Cassie on her way to the ring. Tracy climbing in, helped off with the robe to reveal that white number we've seen before and a body that's clearly trained to a peak for this contest. And, that's..."

McCarthy: "HORRIBLE! AWFUL! AN ASSAULT ON MY OLFACTION!"

O'Dell (sighing): "'Uh Oh', and that means the singer of that tune, 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet, is on her way to the ring..."

Cassie: "Chlo-EE! Chlo-EE! Chlo-EE!"

Tess (laughing): "Clearly a split rooting interest for my BFF, her former stablemate vs. her current stablemate..."

O'Dell: "And, Chloe ALSO gives Cassie the glove to fist bump before climbing into the ring and being helped off with the robe by Jewel and Neve, and the crowd pops for the lovely Ms. Bennet in that blue number she prefers. And, the ladies are about ready. Time for some picks. Tess likes Chloe. Mac?"

McCarthy: "Bennet may have won the first time, but I think Spiridakos can take her. Tracy!"

O'Dell: "Cassie?"

Cassie: "I agree with Tess!"

O'Dell: "And, there's the bell. Ladies wasting no time getting after one another. GOOD right from Chloe and that got Tracy's attention and SPIRIDAKOS ROCKS BENNET with a right of her own! What a shot from the Canadian! She's wobbled the American and is going all in!"

Cassie: "This is going to be a great fight!"

O'Dell: "And, maybe a SHORT one! Spiridakos backing Bennet up with heavy fire. Chloe keeping the hands high, giving ground, jabbing back here and there, but clearly buzzed. Tracy piling up points, looking to finish this thing in absolutely shocking fashion..."

McCarthy: "It won't shock Mac The Knife! SHE predicted this!"

O'Dell: "Twenty seconds to go in the first. Spiridakos in command, but Bennet seems to have shaken the worst of the damage and is firing back some now. Canadian going to be frustrated in her efforts to end this thing, but, there's the bell, and it was a big first round for Tracy, who has the 10-9 lead."

ROUND TWO:

O'Dell: "Canadian coming forward to start the second, and the American not having it! Bennet holding canvas, firing back, and we've got a FIREFIGHT in the middle of the ring and TRACY IS HURT! Right hand by Bennet wobbles Spiridakos' knees and now it's CHLOE who's all in!"

Cassie: "This is going to be a GREAT fight!"

O'Dell: "Tracy being forced backward now, legs balky. She's got the hands up as Chloe's now looking to finish this thing. Bennet landing a GOOD right hand there, and that shook Tracy again. Still, though, the Canadian's sturdy legs hold her up despite her rival's best efforts..."

McCarthy: "She's FINE. Just run some clock here."

O'Dell: "That's what Tracy's looking to do as Chloe pours on the fire. She's got her rival backed to the ropes now, digging some body before going back upstairs. Ten seconds to go. Not going to happen this round. Good right from Chloe and there's the bell. Bennet. Wide."

Tess: "And, we're even at 19 after two."

ROUND THREE:

O'Dell: "Bennet working forward to start the third. Spiridakos giving ground in a fighting retreat. American has grabbed control of this thing with that big second round and she's looking to consolidate but TRACY ROCKS HER WITH A RIGHT HAND COUNTER! What is going ON in there?"

Cassie: "THIS IS A GREAT FIGHT!"

O'Dell: "And, now it's Tracy pouring fire on Chloe, driving Bennet back, regaining all the ground she lost in the last round...which was when Bennet regained all the ground SHE lost in the first round. This is Rommel in the desert stuff here, as control and territory swing back and forth..."

McCarthy: "Who in the WHAT now?"

Tess: "Anyone who didn't see that coming hasn't been here for the last DECADE..."

McCarthy: "YOU haven't been here for a decade, either! Just O'Dell and me in what I refer to as 'The Good Old Days'. Oh. And, SHUT UP, WALMART!"

O'Dell: "Drink up, boys, as we come down the stretch in the third. Bennet backed to the cables now and Spiridakos getting off lusty. Ref looking in closely, but the final seconds ticking away in this one. There's the bell. Bennet survives, but it's Spiridakos and wide in the third."

Tess: "And, Tracy leads 29-28."

ROUND FOUR:

O'Dell: "Fourth now underway. Spiridakos pressing her advantage. Bennet in retreat. Now, she's the one with the unsteady legs as the Canadian bangs away looking to clean up if not finish and DOWN GOES BENNET! A SCINTILLATING combination from Spidakos and Chloe dropped to her back!"

Cassie: "THIS IS A GREAT FIGHT!"

O'Dell: "Spiridakos to a neutral corner. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Six. Chloe sitting up at seven. Eight. Bennet to her feet at nine. Ref going to give her the mandatory and waive on Tracy! Canadian all OVER Bennet now, driving her right back to the cables..."

Tess: "Ref looking closely now..."

O'Dell: "Definitely is as Tracy gets off lusty. Spiridakos knows how dangerous Bennet is, and she wants to put a stop to this thing right now. Chloe hanging on in a high guard, jabbing back here and there, keeping the ref at bay. Five seconds left. Good right from Tracy and there's the bell. HUGE round for Spiridakos!"

McCarthy: "And, she's up 39-36!"

ROUND FIVE:

O'Dell: "Tracy forward, aggressive, backing up Chloe, but Bennet responding with some solid counters. Spiridakos has seen this movie before, and she's not falling into that trap again. Instead, she sets up at range and gets her box on and Chloe responds in kind..."

McCarthy: "Smart move. Bennet's legs might not be all the way back, but she's trying to walk Tracy into something..."

O'Dell: "Sure was, and Spiridakos not having any. Instead, the ladies settling into ranged boxing for the first time in the fight, and that's a surprise, because they're both GOOD at it..."

Tess: "And, both demonstrating that right now."

O'Dell: "Are, indeed. Excellent movement of hands, head, feet, setting up right hands with the jab, putting together nice flurries. Nothing sloppy. Very, very sound, technical stuff from both ladies. Final seconds ticking off the clock, and there's the bell. Very close. Chloe."

Cassie: "And Tracy's lead is down to 48-46."

ROUND SIX:

O'Dell: "Ladies getting their box on as we start the second half. Spiridakos very active with the feet, moving laterally, probing with the left, looking for openings, then dropping in the right. Bennet showing a lot of head movement, doubling her jab, landing a nice combination there..."

Cassie: "Chloe would have a big advantage against a lot of girls on these terms, but not Tracy."

O'Dell: "Spiridakos giving as good as she gets, that's for sure. Like Bennet, Tracy's very athletic and very quick. And, those punches, even the jabs, have something behind them, no doubt about that. Good exchange there and both fighters landed a good right hand!"

McCarthy: "Spiridakos just needs to keep doing what she's doing and she wins this fight."

O'Dell: "Right now, both fighters seem pleased with the terms. We're down under twenty to go in the sixth. Sharp exchange again and sweat flies as, again, both women land a solid shot in there. Five seconds. One more flurry from the Canadian and there's the bell. Close again. Tracy."

Tess: "And, Spiridakos has a nice 58-55 lead with only four to go."

ROUND SEVEN:

O'Dell: "Ladies back to boxing as we start the seventh. Everybody being patient, showing respect, and that respect's been earned in this one, as both bantams have shown plenty of power and DOWN GOES TRACY! Out of nowhere a right hand from Chloe and Spiridakos is down!"

Cassie: "THIS IS A GREAT FIGHT!"

O'Dell: "Chloe to a neutral corner. Count at three. Four. Five. Tracy to hands and knees at six. Seven. Eight. Spiridakos to her feet at nine. Referee going to give the Canadian the mandatory and then waive on Chloe. Bennet quickly to work, letting the hands go, backing up Tracy and DROPPING HER AGAIN WITH A RIGHT HOOK!"

Tess: "That might do it..."

O'Dell: "Bennet to a neutral corner again. Referee's count at three. Four. Five. Tracy again rolls to hands and knees at six. Seven. Eight. Spiridakos stands and STUMBLES BACK TO ALL FOURS! Nine. TEN! It's OVER! Tracy still on all fours as the count passes her by and it's OVER! And your winner by KO7 is 'The Next Big Thing', Chloe Bennet!"

McCarthy: "LUCKY!"

AFTER:

O'Dell: "Let's go up to the ring and Tess Valmore!"

Tess: "I have our winner, Chloe Bennet, and, Chloe, that was a great fight..."

Chloe (nodding): "Yeah, knew it would be. That's who she is. There's nobody in this division she can't have that kind of fight with. And, there's nobody in this division she can't beat, either."

Tess: "Except you?"

Chloe (smiling): "Well. Yeah. I'm the best fighter under 120, and that's all there is to that. And, I'm hoping to get another chance to prove that this year."
