Intro:
Now it is main event time here in the AT&T Stadium, the fourth round of fights in the Diamond Boxing tournament sees one of the tournament leaders Karen Gillan take on Damaris Lewis, can Damaris keep her slim hopes alive?

Karen has really shown so far how good she has become under the management of Fates, beating Bo Krsmanovic, Danielle Herrington and Romee Strijd to be undefeated in the tournament bouts.

She steps onto the FCBA Network set wearing a "Guardian of the Galaxy" shirt and blue denim jeans, the Scottish actress is smiling warmly as she waves to the camera, sitting on the stool to talk about her mindset coming into this fight.

"I have to pinch myself, I really am in the running for this title? Of course I thought I could or I wouldn't entered haha, but when I saw who I was with, no way I thought I'd be undefeated by this stage" Karen almost giddy as she speaks.

Then her mood changes a little as she looks down, then back at the camera with her smile gone as she says "this isn't a fight I am looking forwards to, Damaris has been bullying everyone she can, I can't stand people like her, so this has extra meaning to me, I need to beat her for more then just me, I promise my fans I will" nodding to the camera as she lifts her right fist up.

Damaris meanwhile has underperformed in most peoples eyes, the BBU champion has only won once in the tournament, beating Danielle Herrington in a fight she was arguably losing before she scored the knockout, she has lost to Romee Strijd and Camille Kostek in her last two tournament bouts.

She isn't happy as she comes onto the set, wearing a white T-shirt with her face on, along with black dress pants, she stares hard at the camera as if it is the cause of her problems, mumbling "not this sh*t again" as she looks at her heels before looking back up.

"Look I know there are people loving seeing me fail right now, just wait till I knock out all your favourites, starting off with your favourite Marvel actress, I bet she will kiss my boots better then most" grinning a little at that thought as she speaks.

Damaris points at the camera "just remember to all those laughing at me, what I do to these bytches, I do because of you" she marches off the set after making her point, with a goal in mind beyond just winning fights.

Fight night, out first comes Karen with her coach Ana Beatriz Barros beside her, smiling as she waves at her adorning fans, all chanting her name as she walks the red carpet to the ring.

The Fates boxer is wearing a navy blue sports bra with silver trim, matching trunks and shoes, silver gloves, while her hair is tied back into a ponytail, she steps through the ropes into the ring, bowing to each side to show respect to her fans, then settling into her corner to warm up looking calm as she nods to her coach.

Out comes Damaris with her coach, she gets a mixed response as she downs the red carpet, banging her gloves together as her eyes are looking down, an angry expression on her face.

The Garnet's boxer is wearing her usual favourite black sports bra, matching trunks, shoes and gloves, her hair in a ponytail too, preferring to let her actions be her defining feature, she climbs into the ring staring daggers at her opponent as she stands in her corner.

Brought to the center of the ring by the referee, Damaris tells Karen how she is going to suffer, Karen is hiding her emotions well as she just looks at Damaris with a cold look, the crowd telling Karen to shut up Lewis.

When they are told to touch gloves, while Karen looks ready to do so, Damaris turns her back on the redhead, jogging back to her corner as Gillan nods as if to say "fair enough" before returning to her own corner, the fighters bounce on their toes, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
"Ding" here they go around the center of the ring, Damaris already looking to punch a hole through Karen with some lunging straights that Karen just spots in time, it is pushing Karen away from the middle of the ring though.

Allowing Damaris to be the one dictating the early action, slamming in several hard punches square into the face of the redhead, boos ring out as Lewis keeps the crowd favourite at range throughout the opening minute.

Swinging in a right cross, Damaris misses as her opponent dips under it, two body punches come in before an overhand left cracks Damaris across her cheek, the crowd looking that as they watch Gillan move into space.

Where Karen looks much more comfortable as she doubles up her jab, along with throwing in one-two punches to the body of the oncoming Damaris, who is opening up a little too much trying to crack the actress with a big shot.

While Damaris does land in some crisp jabs, she keeps going for the power punches and paying for missing them with counter punches that mainly slam into her body to make her grunt out.

Final moments of the round actually sees Karen press Damaris to the ropes after landing another overhand right, once the bell rings Karen looks happy as she returns to her corner, sure she might have snuck the round at the end, Damaris on the other hand is sure her early aggression took it.

Round 2:
Stepping in with her jab, Damaris starts off well again as she drills the beautiful face of Karen, driving her to the outside of the ring, where Lewis seems to have learnt her mistake from the last round by using her jab more to land in some crisp cross punches.

Karen realising she can't sit back on the ropes, tries to come back at Damaris in close, she gets shoved back as the strength advantage seems to be with the Garnet's Gunners fighter, Damaris landing a one-two combo of her own to snap back the head of Gillan.

Who soon finds her bottom lip busted open by a right cross, gamely Karen is trying to get in some hard digs on the inside, but she keeps getting shoved back then pounded across her face with some nasty looking punches that causes the crack of the leather to ring out.

Final thirty seconds of the round, Damaris misses with a one-two combo as Karen moves her upper body out the way, digging in short sharp body shots above the waistband of her opponent, making Lewis grit her mouthpiece.

The round comes to a close with Damaris not happy with how things ended there, thudding her gloves together as she seems intent on making a statement tonight at the expense of the popular fighter across the ring from her.

Round 3:
Both women start off quickly as they work in more closer, Karen landing to the body of Damaris, who clips her across the top of her head, some catching Karen across her bloody lips, making the actress step back as Damaris looks to press the advantage.

She misses with a left cross as Karen gets her gloves up in time, a straight drills into the abs of Damaris as Karen turns to attack now, a left hook banging to the side of her opponent's body as she gives Lewis something to think about.

Stepping after Damaris as Karen actually claims the middle of the ring, the hard hitting Damaris doesn't look so happy boxing off her back foot, forced to rely on her jab to stop Karen being the one bullying her, Karen still getting in some good two to three punch combos when she sees gaps to strike into.

A left cross catches Karen coming in tighter to Damaris, who lands an uppercut with less then a minute to go, the round turning around as the beautiful model now begins to back up Karen with several flush punches square into her face.

Karen dipping down in the final moments to dig in two body shots, the bell rings with Damaris staring down at Karen, both settling onto their stools with eyes locked across the ring, Karen showing she has no fear for Damaris.

Round 4:
Getting in several good clean punches to the bloody lips of Karen, Damaris whacks in a right cross to the cheek of Gillan as she looks to press the action early on, working the actress around ropes.

Karen firing off the ropes but getting clipped across her face with some stiff shots, making the redhead get tight behind her gloves to protect herself as Damaris is starting to open up her elbows, more hooks coming in from the black woman.

Who looks to be starting to enjoy hearing groans from the Scottish lass, Karen catches her to the jaw with a left hook, Damaris getting clipped with more punches to her jaw as she gets off the ropes in a show of her toughness to take a pounding and to come back.

Heads nearly crash together as Karen tries to work on the inside, Damaris having a similar idea as they slam in some nasty looking hooks to the others body, Damaris pushing back Karen to open up space between them.

An uppercut catches Lewis on her chin as Karen slips a straight, a left cross follows as the American finds herself on her heels as Karen starts to whack her across the cheeks with cross punches, sweat flying off Lewis's head as the bell rings to end the round.

Stomping back to her corner, Damaris cursing under her breath as she sits down, Karen nodding to Ana as she is told to keep in the chest of Damaris, they feel she is starting to crack as they hear Damaris across the ring not happy at not being able to keep Gillan under wraps.

Round 5:
Coming back out to the middle of the ring, Damaris tries to swing in a right cross that Karen ducks under, a right lands square into the solar plexus of Damaris, then a left hook cracks the model on her chin, WOBBLY LEGGED, DAMARIS STEPS BACK WITH KAREN LANDING TWO PUNCHES SQUARE INTO HER FACE BEFORE A RIGHT HOOK SENDS LEWIS DOWN TO HER SIDE!

Raising her fists as she jogs to the neutral corner, Karen smiling as she looks over to her corner, 1...2...3... Damaris turns to her front with a vacate look on her face, 4...5... Stumbling around on all fours as the crowd seem happy with that, 6...7...8.. Damaris laying on her face groaning as she gives up the ghost, 9...10 ending counted out!

Winner Karen Gillan KO Round 5

After:
The Gillan express continues on the tracks to the top, Karen pumps her fists into the air as she turns to look at her cheering supporters, who are yelling "there's only one... Karen Gillan!" Which makes her chuckle to herself.

On the other hand Damaris is slowly helped to her stool, covering her face as she wants to scream so much, not wanting to give her detractors any pleasure, though they will have enjoyed seeing her get knocked out.

Normally Karen would go over to her opponent to check on them, she doesn't have any sympathy for Damaris, just heading back to her corner to fist bump Ana, who is telling her "you are inching closer to greatness" patting Karen on her back as she looks proud of her trainee.

Helped out the ring by her coach, Damaris just wants to be away from all this, she hasn't been the dominant force expected in this tournament, with her face full of fury as she didn't expect this to happen either, her temper seeming to be getting the better of her right now.

In the ring Karen gets her hand raised by the referee, she blows a kiss to the crowd before bowing to her, the fans applauding her as they stand on their feet, it is hard to say whether she is their favourite or her rival for this tournament Camille Kostek.

Heading out the ring, Karen walks around the ring waving to the fans as she is beaming, looking to be growing as a confident person as well as an elite fighter, the Fates Boxing program seems to have really helped her out.

Walking up the aisle with Ana beside her, the two women chatting with beaming smiles, looking forwards to the last three fights in the tournament as Karen very well might surprise more people by winning this whole thing.
