Dove Cameron vs. Michelle Keegan

(HISC vs Beever's Babes)

Results: Lookout!; Story: Front Street

BEFORE:

Blonde/brunette tilt holds lots of interesting little angles. Cameron, who did little during a run at Mirage and then spent the next four years fighting once or twice per annum and losing every single contest, has been scooped from the scrap heap by HISC...and immediately set about making stable management look like geniuses by immediately putting together the best performance of her career against Brec Bassinger. Still only 24, Dove is now looking like the comer she's always had the ability to be. As for Michelle, Keegan's a .500 fighter on both sides of the Atlantic...but, she has nearly 100 total fights, because. well...in disrobes, she's pretty close to undefeated. But, the brunette beauty is more than window dressing. She's claimed impressive scalps like Cole, Gomez, Kendrick, Cyrus, and Carter, and it wouldn't take much more than a small winning streak to vault the former JMD and BBU Flyweight champion back into the FCBA flyweight title picture...which is the exactly same destination Dove has in mind. "Keegan," says Cameron with a smirk, "Is an OPPONENT for me. She might have been something once, but, these days, she's just around to look pretty lying on the canvas. And, that's where she's going to end up tonight."

"THAT little brat," says Michelle, "Is awfully full of herself after ONE win. So, tonight, we'll just have to KNOCK some of that arrogance OUT of her."

ROUND ONE:

Dove plenty athletic, and she's using that early, bouncing around, jabbing, giving the hips a shimmy, sticking out the chin, just generally, to paraphrase Ben Dreith, "giving Michelle the business". Keegan not biting. She's not going to get suckered into doing something sloppy by the blonde's antics. Instead, she works her own feet, lines, Dove up with the left and BOOM! Drops in a hard right that STAGGERS the blonde! Keegan with that above-weight power and Cameron just felt it, stumbling backward to set up in a high guard against the ropes and now MICHELLE is the one giving the business. She's battering the blonde to both head and body, at one point sending her stumbling along the ropes with a hard right hook. Ref looking in closely, but Cameron hangs on, sending enough fire back to keep him at bay to the bell. When it rings, it's Keegan wide and up 10-9.

ROUND TWO:

With Dove's legs iffy, Keegan takes charge, squaring the blonde up, backing her up, making with the heavy leather. Michelle looking for the finisher, or, absent that, at least trying to effect a clean up. She manages the latter for about half the round, but, by then, the blonde's legs firm up and she's on the move again, bouncing, jabbing. But, this time, she's not playing around. Instead, she's using mobile warfare effectively, getting the jab in Michelle's face, staying off square, then stopping to put together a quick flurry before getting on her horse again. This is very, very good stuff from the blonde, and she slowly begins making up the stagger on the brunette. It's too little, too late, though. Michelle's dominance in the first half of the round is too much for Cameron to overcome. When the bell rings, Keegan's won the stanza and pushed her lead to 20-18.

ROUND THREE:

Dove on the move. She's here, there, and everywhere. Keegan patient. She wants to cut the ring, work forward, bring that power to bear. On occasion, she's able to do that, and, when she does, Michelle wastes no time making with the heavy leather. For her part, though, the blonde is willing to bang back in kind on those terms. She doesn't come out quite as well as the brunette, mind, but she holds her own pretty well. When they're on the move, though, that's when Dove is able to create a little space on the cards. She's working that left, slowing the brunette's pursuit with it, timing her own flurries flawlessly, almost always getting out of Dodge before Keegan can get anything going in counter. Result is that, when the bell rings, Dove's on the board, claiming the third and cutting her rival's lead to 29-28.

ROUND FOUR:

Same again. Dove in motion. Michelle patiently looking to cut the ring and force exchanges. Cameron again plenty slick to go along with the quick. She's timing everything very, very well, staying in open canvas, stopping here and there to pop at just the right time before getting back on her bicycle. Keegan remains sound, continues moving the feet, cuts the ring here and there and gets off, but, she's not able to get the terms she wants often enough, and, as the round goes on, Dove begins to build a solid lead. BOOM! Cameron stops to pop and ROCKS Keegan with a right hand! Michelle staggered and then DROPPED by a blistering flurry from the blonde! Cameron raises the hands over the head and BOUNCES to a neutral corner as the ref counts down on Keegan. Brunette beauty manages to get to her hands and knees, but can get no further before the count passes her by. It's OVER! And your winner by KO4 is Dove Cameron!

AFTER:

Dove suppressing everything but a hint of a smile. "This is just the beginning," the blonde beauty proclaims. "People have been taking advantage of me for YEARS. Well, that stops NOW. I'm with The Consortium. I've got everything I need now, including people like Michelle Williams to learn from. I'm going right to the top of this division and I'm going to pick up where Michelle leaves off. HISC is going to continue to DOMINATE the flyweight division. And, I'M the girl they're going to do it with."
