Brooks Nader vs Scarlett Leithold

BEFORE: Two Americans enter the Dubai sands next and Brooks Nader might be considered a beach boxing speciallist having won all four of her BBU bouts on the loose surface. On the other hand we have Scarlett Leithold who defeated former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins on the Bondi Beach (a feat matched by Nader some time later) but then fell when swinging for the FCBA fence courtesy of Kaia Gerber. That was one big opportunity that got away and left the LA blonde stuck in the 'What might have been' lane before she realized she has to recover from this setback one way or another.

Brooks Nader wears a navy blue bikini set & silver gloves. Long dark brown hair wet & loose. Scarlett Leithold wears a light blue bikini set & yellow gloves. Long blonde hair in loose waves. Both women are barefoot. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Brooks thrives on the early jabbing display and outworks the blonde in close range before looping a scything cross on the nose that makes Scarlett wince in pain. This only fuels the brunette's attacks and Brooks lets the gloves do all the talking as she sticks them into the blonde's face and backs her onto the ropes on speed dial. Scarlett tries to find a proper response but can't stop the brunette from blasting into her face and drops behind a desperate earmuff come the final minute. Nader ignores the guard and thumps her in the midsection instead to leave Leithold sagging on soft knees when the bell ends the opening round.

Round 2:
Brooks goes for another slugging assault but bounces off the blonde's high-guard this time and gets tackled to the body as the younger model cranks up her efforts and manages to glue the brunette to the spot in the process. Both girls lean into each other which results in a quick headbutt but Scarlett manages to stick her mitts into Brooks' midsection again and powers ahead with a nasty uppercut on the jaw. Brooks refuses to back off but shoots over the blonde's shoulder and eats more shots from the inside as Leithold jumps into a hectic drive that still snaps Nader's head. Only then the brunette has to bail out of the exchange and spends the remainder of the round weaving around on her toes as Scarlett tries to nail her with a proper haymaker but ultimately fails.

Round 3:
Brooks drops the hammer and spikes the blonde on each temple before blasting her on the chin as well. Scarlett tries to fire back over the top but succumbs to the slugging pressure and wobbles into loud spasms when Nader thumps her on the chin with a ruthless uppercut drive. Brooks gets vocal as she rails the blonde downstairs before tagging her on the chest as well. Scarlett tries to escape the heat but gets stuck in the sand and drops into more verbal disarray when Brooks pummels her on the tummy to leave visible marks on the area. Leithold manages to clinch the charging compatriot but Brooks still shoves her onto the ropes and seeths into her ear before breaking free. She smashes a left hook on the jaw and bellows Scarlett on top of the ropes; she hammers a nasty gut shot right at the bell to leave the LA blonde yelping in pain for best part of the subsequent one-minute interval.

Round 4:
Scarlett is slow to get up and gets blitzed from both flanks as Brooks tears into her body and neutralizes the younger model in the center of the ring. Scarlett keeps sending meaningless jabs up the middle in response and fails to carry enough power to upset the brunette who unloads a chin-checking double to dissect the blonde's guard. Scarlett still loops one herself but Brooks steps up from the front (left) leg and SMOKES her with a uppercut of the night TO FOLD LEITHOLD INTO A JACK-KNIFE DEMISE!!! Poor blonde half-spins to the side with her eyes closed and drops to her knees as Nader kicks sand over her before getting pushed away by the referee. Scarlett sits down on her heels and just can't stop moaning her heart out as she merciless count passes her by! It'a all over!!! KO4 Brooks Nader!!!

AFTER: Another boxing day at the beach ends with another victory for Brooks who improves to 5-fer-5 and throws her hat in the contenders' ring for good according to BBU TV's Georgie Thompson. It's hard to bet against the Louisiana native even if the lightweight division remains filled with managed fighters who will do anything to keep a free agent like Nader on the sidelines!

A quick post-fight medical check confirms that Scarlett escaped the loss without any broken bones and she actually gets invited for a drink in Brooks' hotel room where the two Americans share their thoughts why they have to gain experience in places like Dubai and wait for true big money fights while people like Kaia Gerber or Rachel Hilbert enjoy a much better place in the spotlight instead.
