Raffaella Modugno vs Abigail Clancy

BEFORE: Raffaella Modugno dropped off the welterweight title challengers pack after a tough loss to Alexina Graham at the Clash of Champions PPV back in April but she wants to find winning ways at the expense of Abigail Clancy tonight. The English WAG remains a crowd-favorite despite a woeful record but even Denise van Outen isn't convinced the Merseyside blonde has what it takes to avoid another defeat on her resume:

"Look, we've seen Alesha Dixon come back after some ugly defeats but Abbey must be really desperate to make the trip to Italy. It's been years since she looked serviceable but I guess she really wants to prove she's more than a sexy looking punchbag! Well, let's see if I'm wrong here but I don't think so!"

Raffaella Modugno wears a blue jeans crop top, black thong bottoms & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. Abigail Clancy wears a red bikini set & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the welterweight division.

Round 1:
Raffaella gets the early jump on the fellow model but Abbey pays back the jabbing favor and both women engage in a furious head-hunting exchange in the center of the ring where the blonde actually stings her rival with a brutal hook on the nose and begins to stack up several punches into the brunette's face. Rafaella drops back from the point-blank range stance but trips over her feet and gets clocked on the rack as Clancy powers ahead with a dynamic drive and pounds the local favorite butt-in-ropes. Uh-oh! Raffaella bends one way and just makes the wrong decision as Abigail blows into her nose again and keeps thumping vicious leather than even makes coach Gail Kim speechless in the Kear's Kats corner! Abbey dishes out tremendous power rally and slumps the Italian on jelly knees before another wild hook catches the brunette on the jaw and leaves her yelping in pain at the bell. Huh! Talk about going totally off-script here!

Round 2:
Abbey rides the head-hunting hot hand and jumps straight into Raffaella's path as she seeks more success. She tags the Italian on the jaw but misses with the follow up and bends forward deep enough Modugno smokes her on the chin herself. Another looping shot catches the ear and spins the Scouser to the side before Raffaella beats her for an overhand piledriver that tears a small gash around the right brow ridge. Abbey slumps on her heels and gets pounded back to the ropes in a hurry thereafter. Raffaella shouts some verbal abuse in her native language and settles down in thumping the blonde's midsection once she traps her on the ropes during the final minute. Clancy tries to break free but succumbs to those body shots and clinches Modugno into safety instead.

Round 3:
Abigal still thinks she can repeat those opening round heroics but bounces off the brunette's high guard early in the third and gets blasted up the middle shortly afterwards as Raffaella steers some vicious leather into her face. Clancy's defense was always a problem and she doesn't move fast enough to avoid getting whacked during a spirited Italian rally here. Modugno finds her groove and works over the top to snap the blonde ponytail around before she tackles Abbey onto the ropes and RIPS into her exposed midriff again. Ugh! Abbey slumps into loud spasms and tries to clinch the fellow model instead of punching right back at her... bad idea... Raffaella thumps Abigail's breadbasket into visible pink-ish patches and hauls in a late uppercut on the jaw that whips the Scouser on top of the ropes with eyes closed.

Round 4:
Raffaella sprints out of her corner and connects with more head shots as Abigail tries to deke away from danger but just leaks too many of those efforts punish her regardless. She becomes glued to the spot after a while and bends forward when Modugno cracks an uppercut rally on the chest. Blonde seeks another clinch but Raffaella shoves her away and lands a screamer on the jaw moments later. Abigail spins to the side and goes numb upon impact before the fiery Italian LIFTS HER OFF THE CANVAS with another vicious uppercut on the chin!!! DOWN GOES CLANCY!!! The English WAG collapses in a heap with her arms above her head and that should do it!!! The count is slow but it doesn't matter anymore! KO4 Raffaella Modugno!!!

AFTER: The victorious model plants her foot on the fallen blonde's hip and poses for the cameras as she's back on the winning track indeed. She got surprised by Abbey's very aggressive start but properly exposed her biggest weakness quickly enough to celebrate her fifth career victory in style! Even Gail Kim doesn't look extremely upset in the Kats corner as she acknowledges Abigail came here to collect appearance fee and the whole crew is off to some fancy Italian beaches for the weekend anyway.
