Intro:
With the BBU welterweight champion focused on the Diamond Boxing Tournament in the FCBA, the title contenders for the belt are jocking for position, tonight two of those contenders fight it out as ACB welterweight champion Jesinta Campbell looks to keep her undefeated run alive, she takes on the tough Dane Josephine Skriver in this clash of leggy models.

Going into the fight Jesinta put on her social media "where are you Damaris? I am waiting for you to answer my calls as I should be a double champion, stop hiding in America and come back to the UK so I can be the next Aussie to rip a title of one of the BBU champions waists 👊" the challenge gained traction with fans wanting to see that fight.

Someone who clearly didn't though was Josephine, who replied "so you want a fight? Well why not come over and have a fight with me, I am not a champion yet but I guess that's down to the fact I fight in a division that is packed with stars, while you fight broken down soap stars from Neighbours and Home & Away #bringit!" Which started the classic ACB vs BBU debate off a month early, with Crossover in July, things were heating up.

"Oh please... So Josephine Skriver really wants to fight me? Well I haven't anything planned right now so why don't I come and give you a lesson why us Aussies are tough bytches #challengeaccepted" was the answer from Campbell, leading to this fight officially being signed.

Fight night and for this special attraction fight, the BBU TV reporter Denise Van Outen shares the commentary booth with Green & Gold magazines reporter Sarah Cummings, both women shake hands for the cameras as they say may the better fighter win, both friendly enough from times working together in the past as they sit next to each other to call the action.

First through the curtain is Jestina with her coach Nikki Visser, Nikki holding the ACB title up, it isn't on the line but they clearly want to remind the British fans that Damaris isn't the only champion around the 130lbs+ division.

Climbing into the ring, Jesinta is wearing a green sports bra with gold trim, matching trunks and shoes, gold coloured gloves, her hair tied into a ponytail as she flexes her arms for the camera with a wink, then gets serious as she hits her coached palms as if they were punch pads.

Josephine now heads through the curtain with coach Taryn Terrell and cut woman Eva Carneiro behind her, she struts down the aisle wearing a maroon sports bra with white trim, matching trunks and shoes, white gloves, while her hair is also tied into a ponytail.

Getting into the ring, Josephine raises her arms into the air with a cheeky smile as her fans cheer, she stretches as Taryn tells her to show Jesinta what the BBU is really like, a fist bump with a nod from Josephine as if promising she will do.

The fighters come together at the middle of the ring at the behest of the referee, looking over their opponent not looking impressed with what they see, when told to touch gloves it is more a swipe then a solid touch, jogging to their corners as the crowd roars, the bell rings to start 10 rounds of welterweight action.

Round 1:
Kicking off the fight behind their jabs, they are both dancing out the way of ones coming at them, trying to catch their opponent out in these early moments, looking like a fencing contest as they step in and out of range.

A left cross catches Josephine on her jaw as a straight follows to knock back the head of the Dane, Jesinta taking the center of the ring as Josephine covers up as she moves to the outside of the ring, the ACB champion opening up now she has momentum.

But with her opening up Josephine has chances to fire back, popping Jesinta in her lips with straights and jabs, stopping Campbell from going all out on her as they move around the ring, Skriver near the ropes as they fight it out, barks and groans ringing out from both fighters.

Less then a minute to go, Josephine is hit with a left hook after slipping a straight, an uppercut follows as Josephine is forced to cover up more tightly, the Aussie stunner goes to work at the body now, throwing hooks around the guard as she dips her head down.

At the bell it's a strong opener for Jesinta, she gets a nod from her coach Nikki as she sits on her stool, Josephine on the other hand takes a breath to keep her cool, definitely not the way she wanted to kick off this fight, Taryn tapping her gloves as she says "go get her Josephine" with a nod of her own.

Round 2:
Bouncing on her toes more as she tries to be more mobile this time around, Josephine catches Jesinta with a double jab onto her mouth, stepping back out the way of a left cross from the Aussie, allowing Josephine to land a straight into her forehead.

Pushing the pace now early on, Josephine is looking more comfortable as she presses Jestina onto the back foot, both sling in hard shots through mitts, Jesinta isn't having as much success trying to generate her power when being pressed back around the ring.

Near the halfway point Jesinta shows her flexibility to duck under a right cross before coming over the top with a left, smacking Skriver into her cheek as Campbell turns things around, landing a three punch combo through the guard of her opponent into her face, making Josephine cover up as the Aussie traveling fans are roaring their hearts out in her support.

Giving Campbell a little shove, Josephine lands a left hook across her face, then buries an uppercut into the body to make Jesinta groan out, Josephine beginning to drive back Jesinta till she gets held, they grapple onto the ropes as the referee tries to break them apart.

Final moments with them apart sees both fighters trade headhunting shots to the bell, Josephine looking better that round as they return to their corners, crowd whistles and cheers the fighters, who look anxious to get back out to fight, tapping their toes as they wait for the bell.

Round 3:
Now fully warmed up they are boxing at another gear, dodging and landing straight punches into cheeks, marks starting to form on faces as this first minute of action is hotly contested, predominantly they are focusing on head shots, with Josephine switching up a little more with body shots.

Leaning out the way of a right cross, Josephine lands a counter straight under the right eye of Campbell, causing the ACB champion to groan out before a right slams into her body to make her back off to range, Josephine making herself the Queen of the castle as she controls the middle of the ring.

Jesinta is finding it hard to get off more then single punches, getting thudded to her face and even her chest with two punch combinations, Josephine looking more relaxed as she builds up her rhythm, a double jab/straight combo forces Jesinta to clinch up as her head snaps back.

Less then fifty seconds to go, Jesinta spots her chance of a counter attack now they are broken up, leaning out the way of a left hook to land a counter right onto the jaw of her opponent, sending little beads of sweat flying as she turns the heat back on Skriver.

The round comes to an end with Jesinta returning to her corner with an annoyed look, clearly expecting an easier night then this, Nikki giving her some advice as Taryn pats Josephine on her back, mostly happy with how things have turned around.

Round 4:
Going down to the body more early on to make Josephine think more, Jesinta lands a jab/right cross to the chest of the Dane to make her groan out, with Skriver landing a double jab into the face of Campbell to stop her moving in closer to work.

Pushing back Josephine with a left hook to the body followed by a right to her chin, Jesinta pushes back the Girls Friday fighter back into a neutral corner, banging away to the body as she pushes her forehead into the chin of Skriver, who pulls her into a clinch to force the referee to step in to break them up.

After the strong first minute for Jesinta, she gets caught more with one-two combos into her face, Josephine moving side to side as Jesinta tries to pin her down, a straight landing into the abs of Skriver, with a left cross hitting Campbell to the side of her head to push her back.

Jesinta lands a straight into the nose of Skriver, she presses back the Sports Illustrated model back onto the ropes, hammering her sides with cross punches, Josephine landing jabs out her guard, she is getting kept on the defensive though as Jesinta is opening up on her.

The bell rings with both women taking a moment to stare each other down, then they return to their corners, both knowing they are in a fight as they stare across the ring at each other, coaches wiping them down as the crowd is chanting both fighters names.

Round 5:
Straight from the off Jesinta is looking to push the pace, problem is she misses with a left cross as Josephine sidesteps her to the left, then pounds a counter right across the chin of the Aussie to turn her head, a left hook then smacks into the nose of Campbell to cause her to backpedal.

Blood runs from the nose of Jesinta as she is being hammered back, she is trying to swing back, but is getting beaten to the punch by Josephine, WHO KNOCKS JESINTA TO THE ROPES, AN UPPERCUT LIFTS UP JESINTA TO HER TOES BEFORE SHE COLLAPSES DOWN TO HER FRONT!

The crowd goes wild as Josephine struts to the neutral corner with her arms in the air, 1...2...3... Jesinta's head turns to the left, eyes shut as 4...5...6.. The gumshield of Campbell is spat out, 7...8.. She isn't moving anymore as her arms are out wide, 9..10 that's it! Jesinta loses!

Winner Josephine Skriver KO Round 5

After:
The undefeated run of Jesinta ends tonight as Josephine turns to the crowd, arms in the air as she bellows "yes!" To the delight of her supporters, Taryn jumping for joy outside the ring along with Eva, overjoyed that Josephine has taken a big scalp tonight.

In the ring comes Nikki as she checks on Jesinta, wiping the loose hairs from her face as the eyes of Jesinta open, she looks a little lost with what happened, helped up to her knees, Jesinta looks around and it soon hits her that she lost, tears run down her face as she moves to cover her face with her gloves, feeling that sting of defeat for the first time in her career.

Across the ring in the Girls Friday corner, Josephine is giving high fives to her coaching crew after her gloves are taken off, giving Eva a big hug as the smiling cut woman looks so happy for her fighter, Josephine joking "never in doubt" with a big grin, causing her crew to chuckle.

Soon Jesinta is helped to her feet by the referee and Nikki, she has her head down as her eyes are red from crying as much, she leaves the ring with Nikki and her cut man helping her up the aisle, Nikki getting handed the ACB title, there will be plenty of fighters back in Australia seeing this loss and rubbing their hands, maybe seeing themselves with the title around their waist.

While Josephine gets her hand raised by the referee, a massive step forwards in her own career after having mixed results lately, she'll hope this is the beginning of a great run, posing for the cameras with her fists raised, a cheeky smile on her face as her fans are whistling and cheering.

Soon enough she steps out the ring, handing her gloves off to a lucky fan as she smiles warmly to them, Denise gives her a high five as Sarah gives them a hard look, maybe it won't be as friendly an after party drink between Denise and Sarah after all.

For now though all eyes are on Josephine as she heads up the aisle, will she be looking for a crack at Damaris soon enough or will she continue to build momentum, after tonight the paths are starting to open up for her in a now crowded welterweight division.
