BEFORE:
Petra’s still fuming at the pre-fight presser after the Vyalitsina loss, but of course, the head of the SIRENs locker room is trying to keep her cool.

“You may call Chantelle low-hanging fruit, but I see her as a viable competitor. We’re about the same age, with almost the same number of fights. One day, I’d want to compete against Anna again. For now, Houghton will have to do,” Petra says with pursed lips.

Chantelle acting cocky back, despite her less-than-stellar record, the Foxfire Atlantic girl showing Petra in equally less-than-flattering terms:

“Petra’s right about the two of us being viable competitors. But if she wants to face me, what does that say about the state of her own career? I’m game. I have very little to lose,” the UK actress says with a smile. “and everything to gain if I beat her tonight.”

Ladies meet at the podium and Petra’s five-inch height advantage is another factor going for her into this fight. Nemcova looks confident despite recent losses - no need to turn her nose up at Chantelle when her head-taller stature is already doing it for her. Houghton on the other hand glares back angrily, refusing to step-in all the way to face Petra face-to-face, in case the cameras emphasise her vulnerability in all its glory.

Later, we’re back in the ring! Petra’s dressed in a coral white bikini, her dirty blonde hair tied up neat into a ponytail. She’s wearing black gloves for this contest. Chantelle has opted for an amber ensemble, bikini loose and showing off that fit figure for her age. She’s wearing red gloves tonight. Referee signals for the bell and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Welterweight action!

ROUND 1: 
Bad news to kick things off as Petra uses Chantelle's face as an early punchbag, drilling shot after shot into the smaller woman’s frame as the Head Siren plays to her reach advantage to effect. Girls had met early in the center of the ring, slowly circling at first before the first jabs came in from Petra’s corner, driven into the arms and constantly head-hunting the bewildered UK blonde. Houghton may have had some fights in the arena but she’s never tasted the sound of victory just yet, struggling to fend off the attacks as she scoots in one moment, runs back out the next, meaning Nemcova has almost free reign to pick her off from a comfortable distance. It’s a one-way street in this opening round, with the damage continuing to stack up towards the third minute of the fight - Chantelle grunts as her head is thrown back by a one-two combo ending with a straight cross to the lips, Nemcova not mucking about as she pushes and pushes her way inwards, trying to overpower the other blonde and send a message to the previous one she faced off against. At the bell, Houghton receives a parting gift of a bash to the mouth, which quickly leaves a cut on her lip. ALREADY she’s left bleeding and holding onto the ropes, gasping for air. Thankfully, the ref signals for the doctor, who declares her fit to fight for another nine rounds… if she can manage it.

ROUND 2: 
More Petra aggression as the Siren doesn’t let up - got a reputation to keep after all and the dignity of her stable on the line here tonight. Houghton shows a little more fire in the opening minute, attempting to RUSH in and punish Petra to the body with loud, strapping swings of her gloves, but Petra keeps herself moving in tandem, leaping back with the agility and grace of a fighter twenty years younger. Houghton on the other hand quickly runs out of steam after her third such wild swing, gets blasted to the side as Petra lands a tight hook across the face, another one-two uppercuts drilled into the big blonde’s body on the spot, before a final HOOK TO THE CHEEK TURNS HOUGHTON’S LIGHTS OFF!! Good lord! Houghton SPUN about on her feet by that combo, immediately CRASHES down to the ground face-first!! Referee runs over to examine the situation, but it’s no use! Chantelle just ain’t moving one bit! That seems to be it, folks! 

Official Decision: Petra Nemcova defeats Chantelle Houghton via KO2!

AFTER:
Dominant win for Petra, but one would say the result was a foregone conclusion given the disparity between both ladies. No sympathy for Nemcova, however, as she struts past Chantelle’s snoozing, face-down form, returning to her corner to celebrate with the rest of her team. 

Houghton’s losing streak goes up to 0-9, and one might be hesitant to think she’s trying in some way to make it into the history books that way. Hopefully, of course, she recovers to fight another day. 

Meanwhile, Petra’s stopped by reporters on her way up the ramp, arms and shoulders linked and locked with her fight team’s. 

“Of course I expected to win. I always do. THAT’S how you do it, girls!” Petra says, before winking at the camera in a message to the rest of the locker room.
