BEFORE: Baskin Champion's upset win over Marloes Horst earned her the Ryder Cup nod and the former Miss Teen Alabama wants to make the most of this opportunity however Nabilla Benattia has won five fights in a row and comes in as the betting favorite. The exotic French stunner is widely picked as future JMDD champion but she claims she can blow away "wannabe blonde bimbos" in standard rules as well. Baskin is visibly bemused by those comments and refuses to touch gloves with the brunette which triggers a lenghty staredown between the two women during the introductions.

Baskin Champion wears a stars & stripes bikini set & red gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Nabilla Benattia wears a blue bikini set & white gloves. Long black hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Nabilla lets it rip from the opening bell and slams a left/right combo into the blonde's face before driving more leather into her cleavage just to indicate she can dominate anyone in jug mggin' rules at will. Baskin needs extra time to gather her thoughts and when she does, she finds herself hugging the ropes as the brunette fires more shots straight up the middle. Nabilla keeps the pressure on but allows Baskin to escape from the ropes and spends the second minute in a hectic pursuit with Champion trying her chances in counter-punching response. That goes nowhere and only fuels Benattia's slugging charge, she clocks the subdued blonde on the jaw and lands more shots into her face before busting her on the navel late in the going. Baskin manages to clinch her foe into safety thereafter but needs immediate upgrade after losing the opener on points.

Rounds 2 & 3:
More hectic jabbing from the French model who really wants to overrun the local favorite with pure slugging attrition. Baskin has to deke away from the strike zone a lot and doesn't offer much confidence she can match the brunette's attacking style at all. She avoids damage alright but defaults the action and only makes Benattia more hungry for another big victory. Both women exchange solid series in the center of the ring but Nabilla carries supreme power supply and nails the blonde on the lips several times. Baskin is clearly feeling the heat and has to bail out of these exchanges down the stretch which makes Danielle Harris really angry in Team USA corner. Former Miss Teen Alabama tries to battle back late in the third and nails Nabilla on the nose with a good hook before stuffing her downstairs, Benattia bounces off the blonde's forehead and gets whacked across the boobs which finally ignites some noise into the Vegas crowd but Champion misses on the put away follow through and gets pinged by a seemingly wayward hook on the nose right at the bell herself.

Round 4:
Baskin finally sticks a meaningful drive up the middle and decides to blast it right at the French opponent. Nabilla is more than comfortable with such a change of tactics but is forced to really work hard to stay on top of the American as she gets scythed on the mouth and eats a powerful hook on the nose as well. She wobbles off her slugging stance and fails to cover up when Champion whacks her on the nose one more time. Ugh! Nabilla goes all wobbly butt upon impact while blonde rides the wild support from the audience to bash immediate follow up that bursts the brunette's nostrils into a blood-seeping shocker come the one-minute mark. Uh-oh! More head shots wrap the hitherto dominant European into all sorts of bother as she tries to avoid getting blasted onto the ropes but to no avail. Baskin kicks into top slugging gear and spills more blood from her opponent's nose but the ref lets this rough spell to continue and the local favorite takes full advantage... she buries Nabilla behind a desperate earmuff and shoves her mitts into that wounded nose before blasting her across the liver area late... Oh, noes!! BENATTIA HAS TO TAKE A KNEE just before the clock expires and that's a massive turnaround to bring life for Team USA again! She is saved by the rules but suddenly there are some hollow looks in the European corner!

Round 5:
Nabilla wants blood but it's only coming out of her nose as Baskin steps up to smash a left/right double on target before clocking another overhand as well. The French tourist wobbles to her heels and drops her mitts just as the blonde NAILS her with another brutal cross on the wounded area. Uh-oh! DOWN GOES BENATTIA AGAIN and this time the clock doesn't rescue her aymore! More blood is spilled and the proud brunette sits down on her heels when the count reaches seven. Just too much damage to overcome and the fight is over!!! KO5 Baskin Champion in incredible come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Huge win for the betting underdog who rises above the odds to secure the biggest win of her brief celebrity boxing career: "Take that and some some you filty little cow! Scarlett Leithold might be taking that FCBA paycheck but I'm sooo better than her. Raven Lyn wants her due? Hell, just wait until I come around! Roll Tide, bytches!", Baskin flexes her muscles and twerks some booty around the ring and suddenly there is a lot of SEC support in Vegas as well. Ryder Cup really brings the national pride to the fore and Baskin gets to enjoy her moment in the spotlight after all. Meanwhile Nabilla storms out of the ring with blood still leaking from the busted nostrils. Ugh! Let's hope the BBU fans over in Europe didn't see that disaster unfold! But of course they did watch it and Nabilla's path to a divisional title shot just took a bumpy detour here in Vegas of all places!
