BEFORE: Former The Saturdays singer Mollie King still tries to earn her second shot at the flyweight straps and claims beating Collien Fernandes is a perfect result to keep those hopes alive! Meanwhile the German TV personality has won three times on the bounce including a valuable Heidi Range scalp that upsets Mollie the most since she lost to the Sugababes rival back in 2019 herself. It's a whole new ball game here in Cardiff tonight though so let's see who comes out on top in the end!

Mollie King wears a purple crop top with black trim, blue jeans shorts & silver gloves. Long blonde hair tied in braid. Collien Fernandes wears a red crop top, black hip-huggers & golden gloves. Long raven-black hair tied in a sleek ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Collien cracks a left hook on target and jumps into a steady head-hunting assault that Mollie navigates through supreme mobility but she still eats a quick shot up the middle as the brunette charges at her with more venom. Both women clash heads in the center of the ring before Collien rips a left cross on the nose and stuffs the singer with more slugging prowess that leaves coach Gina Wild screaming in joy. Mollie reverts back to her quick footwork but struggles to match the brunette's intensity otherwise and drops back to the ropes where Fernandes piles more ruthless leather up the middle and shuts the Brit down behind a tight earmuff come the final bell.

Round 2:
Most fans inside the arena didn't see Collien storming into an aggressive display like that and they get more of this in the second as the German woman whacks the blonde up the middle and rocks her head back & forth before looping a quick shot on the ear that makes King gurgle in discomfort. Another stuffing shot on the boobs cripples Mollie into loud spasms as she tries to clinch the older woman but to no avail and Fernandes gashes her back to the ropes with more slugging drive thereafter. Ugh! Mollie weaves around on her feet and snaps back in single-punch fashion however Collien beats her over the top anyway and crashes another series on each temple to close out the round. Huh! Make that 20-18 for the German tourist!

Round 3:
Mollie knows she's been reduced to sidekick show in the first couple of rounds and tries to rally back as Collien keeps coming back at her and looks set to clean up more tummy before a big right hand finally stops the German drive. Mollie jumps into a head-hunting blast herself but shoots over the brunette's head and fails to take immediate advantage while Fernandes adjusts her stance and gallops back into the blonde's face. Both women exchange some hard hits much to the crowd's delight before King secures the last laugh when she flicks a left/right combo on the chin and wobbles the German onto her heels late in the run.

Round 4:
Collien fires more clean shots into the singer's face but the overhand response finally finds the mark and allows King to check down on the aggressive tourist. Fernandes leans into her foe anyway and gets busted on the rack instead as Mollie changes her target and drives more leather into the exposed ribcage catching the German flat. Ugh! Collien wobbles to her heels but still seeks more success in the head-hunting pounce only for Mollie to crash a left hook on the solar plexus and folds her into spasms instead. Ouch! Mollie drops more harpoons on the money and barges the older woman onto the ropes where she adds another vicious double around the liver area and stuffs the tourist on the turnbuckle. Fernandes struggles to swing back from a spot of bother and leaks a brutal uppercut on the bell that leaves her on jelly knees outright.

Round 5:
Mollie flies in with a quick double and smashes a left/right combo on the chin before ducking underneath a loopy response that bounces off the top of her forehead. Collien tries to follow through and tips off the hip while leaving herself all exposed from the inside so Mollie NAILS her with a brutal hook right away. Ugh! Collien sinks on jelly knees and bends to the side just as the singer goes for the follow up and lands another wicked hook on the chin to FOLD THE GERMAN DOWN ON HER KNEES as the crowd errupts in joy!!! Uh-oh!!! What a powerful double that was and Collien just couldn't survive it! She takes the slowish count all the way to eight before getting up however Mollie jumps all over her after the bout is resumed and blows her back to the ropes with more head shots alone. Fernandes just can't regain her poise anymore and gets picked off up the middle to the point she gets shut down with eyes closed and the REF STEPS IN to halt the one-sided beating!!! TKO5 Mollie King in come-from-behind fashion!!!

AFTER: Mollie overcomes a slow start to force a good stoppage victory but the Black Eagles entourage still argues the decision was premature. BBU TV's Denise van Outen begs to differ and claims Collien wasted her opportunity as she really should have punished the Brit early on when she had Mollie rattled. She never got another chance and displayed questionable punching resistance when King finally showed up in contender form.
