Hailey Clauson vs Brooks Nader

BEFORE:
Brooks has made some noise in beach boxing action prior, but Hailey Clauson is perhaps her toughest test to date!

“British babe’s got nothing on me!” Clauson puffs her chest out and straightens from her seat at the press table, before continuing. “So what if Brooks has remained undefeated after all this time? She hasn’t faced the kind of competition I have, chief of whom I’m referring to: me.”

Brooks Nader stormed onto the scene just barely a year ago, and some would say making her debut on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit certainly helped! The British girl is full of confidence in the pre-fight segment as well, and who wouldn’t be, with key wins over Jennifer Hawkins and Jasmine Sanders to round off her perfect 5-0 winning streak?

“Hailey’s got a lot of pomp for her lack of results - I’ve even heard she almost got dumped by her stable last year. And now she wants to face off against one of the brightest in the business? I think not. She’s about to witness a future champion in the ring. Don’t say I didn’t warn ya, love!”

Both ladies are the same height but Brooks is falling short two inches on paper. Clauson is also definitely packing more power, as evidenced by her previous fights, but all that’s gonna be for nothing if she lets Brooks’ bulletproof confidence wash hers away. Ladies square up at the podium and later in the ring, striking the same pose with fists raised high and not backing down one inch from the other. 

Clauson in her lucky orange bikini, blonde hair braided into a single ponytail out back as she raises red gloves. Brooks has gone for navy blue - the strikingly same bikini she wore for her SI debut. The British model is in white gloves for this contest. Referee waves to start and HERE WE GO with ten rounds of Welterweight action!

ROUND 1: 
Brooks makes an early impression as she tags Hailey from afar with quick jabs, and Clauson is also making it easy for her by rushing forward in a straight line. Nader employs her jabs to disrupt the advance, sinking punches into Hailey’s cheek over and over. Clauson of course is already trying to overpower her brunette rival, but her swings are missing entirely as Brooks stays back and constantly moving. Nader on the other hand slugs Clauson about by repeatedly targeting the face and chest, flurry after flurry throwing Hailey’s head to one side and sending the rest of her bulky body following after. Nader has the patience to keep still and not chase after the dangerous blonde, and the round ends kinda lopsided, with Hailey also opting to stay away throughout the final minute, play the tactical game to feel out these attacks.

ROUNDS 2&3: 
It’s Nader’s turn to come callin’, and Brooks makes the mistake of thinking Clauson’s stationary for such a big target. The Brit tests out her luck, coming in fast and then throwing multiple combos into Clauson’s arms and tummy, hoping to drive her back into the ropes early and score a possible knockdown moments after. But Hailey’s using her superior range to give her a little taste of her own medicine, using her jab to nail Brooks on the face repeatedly. Third round is not much different, with Nader switching to the body with some combos but takes a pasting shot to the lips each time she leaves herself open to counterattack. Hailey has NO issues with telegraphing her shots, waiting patiently until Brooks presents an opening before socking her hard to the arms or body with a hook of her own. Nader gets driven back when a cross-hand screams in in the final minutes, literally pushing her back a couple of steps. Both ladies are breathing hard at this point, but it’s Nader who finds herself pushing up against a stern bulwark throughout.

ROUND 4: 
Hailey’s turn to circle in, the big bulk of a blonde woman trying to corner Brooks and drive her back into the ropes for more. Brooks in trouble early, got her attacks blunted in the last two rounds and now suddenly getting her own air supply cut off as Hailey tightens the noose around her neck. Big, strapping hooks aimed at the head are still avoided but Nader takes one to her arms, which blows her to the side and into the ropes! That’s exactly what Clauson wanted, and HERE THE SIREN COMES, swinging for the fences! Nader absorbs a one-two to the body but gets CAUGHT across the arms by another full-on power-hook, which sends her FLYING off her feet and DOWN to the canvas in the very first minute!! OUCH indeed! Nader gets a taste of what her opponent is capable of, lying on her side in shock before beginning the slow walk back to her feet. Clauson meanwhile is looking haughty again back in her corner, smiling to herself even as she eyeballs the Brit recovering by the count of 7. This fight continues!

ROUND 5: 
Brooks is surprisingly spritely on her feet once more, keeping her body weight light and nimble as she first avoids Clauson’s aggression in the first minute. Clauson growling with frustration each time one of her charges ends up with nothing but air in her grasp, Nader just weaving backwards in the nick of time or leaping out of the way of one of her flying overhangs. Instead, Clauson is being treated to more snappy punches that bunch up her cheek and breasts, Nader staying focused for now and actually winning a round after that knockdown attempt in the previous. The Brit STORMS back into contention in the final minute, bobbing left of another straight cross before treating Hailey back to a swipe across the chin, another to her chest the other way, before the bell rings too soon for Clauson to retaliate. It looks like this fight is FAR from being over!

ROUND 6: 
Hailey gets more upset, especially after her initial advantage begins to fade away. Brooks is content with busting her to the body with crisp one-two shots, tagging her on the chest before a third combo sinks into her stomach to drive the air from her lungs. It takes a lot to hurt the big blonde, and Brooks’ attacks are slowly adding up to make indents all over Hailey’s frame. After the first minute, however, Brooks gets a little too greedy as she pounds away on Hailey’s undercarriage and doesn't see the return SWING coming till it’s too late! POW!! of a right hook catches her on the side of the head, which sends her packing! Hailey’s nostrils are flaring now as the Siren gives chase, repeating her swings as she tries to batter down the last vestiges of Brooks’ defences! Overhand after overhand comes screaming into the arms, sent above to the forehead, and Nader takes another one just above the left eye, which throws her back into the ropes looking like she’s about to go down one last time! Bell rings soon after, however, and the referee has to call in the ring doctor to check on that small cut just above the eyelid. Not a knockdown yet for Clauson, but BOY does she look smug indeed as she watches a trickle of red flow down one of the Brit model’s cheeks! 

ROUND 7: 
Brooks gets the all-clear signal, though she’s now sporting a band-aid plastered above her eye. That resolve on her face, however, is still clear and present, and she ain’t about to let a small cut get in her way of winning this fight. Ladies CLASH once more in the center, with Brooks going for speed and aggression whereas Hailey taking big swings towards the brunette’s head from the start, hoping to hit her where it hurts the most. For the first thirty seconds, Brooks performs well enough, dodging another overhand before ducking under a hook. Clauson grunts as her tummy takes more side swings, before her arms are almost forced apart by an uppercut that cuts down the middle. But Nader then eats a hook up high, causing her head and torso to jerk awkwardly to one side. Clauson’s power still poses a danger and those wild hands are all the more unpredictable with the Siren falling back. Hailey LAUNCHES herself after the dazed Brit, fists flying rapidly in her direction! Poor Nader can’t possibly intercept all the punches at once, takes another ringin’ shot across the chin, which SENDS HER BACK DOWN TO THE CANVAS! It’s not the absolute KO that Clauson wanted though, as Brooks is left breathing hard but only having fallen to all fours. Hailey with the second KNOCKDOWN of the night, and SURELY this must be it?! 

Brooks however shows plenty of fighting spirit, slamming her mitts into the ground before already walking her way back up. Bad news though, because that cut above her eye has already been reopened by that mad flurry, with drips of red already accompanying her on her way back to her feet. Though she does manage to steady herself by the count of 8, the doctor is resummoned to check on her condition. Uh oh, there’s a grim look on his face, and he’s seen shaking his own head rapidly, before muttering some ill tidings to the nearby referee. Before Brooks can even protest, the referee is waving his arms towards the judges’ table! Surely it can’t be over like this?!?

Official Decision: Hailey Clauson defeats Brooks Nader via TKO7!

AFTER:
Mad scuffle erupts in the ring in the immediate aftermath, as Nader lodges her protest by trying to make a dash and lunge towards Clauson, who responds by of course not backing down either. Blonde and brunette manage to get a few swings in on one another, grunting and cursing out loud before the rest of the fight officials swarm in to separate them apart. 

All this while, Nader’s eye is getting bigger by the second, and we think the referee made the right call there, with the model’s eyelid and cheek turning a bright shade of purple by the time she’s forced back to her own corner, still shaking her head. Meanwhile, Clauson is all smiles back in her own. Though she didn’t win this fight cleanly via KO, it was still her power that managed to put an end to these festivities. 

“Nader can complain all she wants,” the blonde later tells the gaggle of reporters by ringside. “It was MY fist that opened her skin. She doesn’t have anyone else to blame but ME for her stoppage loss tonight.”

Much later, Brooks is still seething, even after the medical team has put a needle to her skin and managed to stem the bleeding and swelling, for now. “Clauson is lucky the fight got stopped. Another three rounds and she’d be lying down at my feet. As far as I’m concerned, this fight ain’t over!”
