BEFORE: It didn't take long for Love Island winner Amber Gill to find herself targeted by fellow Tyneside opponents and this only after she beat BBU punchbag Louisa Lytton on her debut back in September. Little Mix singer Perrie Edwards was the first one to blink which initially raised several eyebrows until it became clear the South Shields native is simply jealous of the new talent coming from her backyard. That is Amber's side of the story anyway and she plays along the blonde's short fuse when talking to BBU TV's Charlie Webster:

"Look, it's time for a Next Gen revival in the North! Perrie had her five seconds in the sun but she's a glorified WAG these days. Move over for the superior woman.... which is ME!!! Love Island proved I know how to WIN while Perrie simply looks half-decent wearing a crop top. That is all!" (giggles).

Meanwhile the Little Mix crew arrives in the Utilita Arena Newcastle full of confidence. Jade Thirlwall told manager Frankie Cocozza to stay home since "this is personal and we don't need any distractions" and vows to help her bandmate with the post-fight humiliation: "This dumb bytch has no idea what she signed up for! I almost feel sorry for her already!" (winks).

Perrie Edwards wears a white bikini set & golden gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a high ponytail. Amber Gill wears a blue bikini set & brown gloves. Wavy dark brown hair in loose curls. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Perrie tries to catch the newcomer off guard with a slugging approach but Amber has it covered and ducks underneath the initial swing before crashing into the blonde's midsection and blasting her from both flanks so hard even Jade Thirlwall gasps in surprise. Amber works heavy juice to the body and drives Perrie onto the ropes where the singer tries to recover but gets busted on the jugs and folds into loud spasms while the brunette picks up the jabbing pace. She pummels more of the blonde's tummy and digs a stray elbow into her chest again before blasting a left cross on the chin that spins Edwards sideways on the turnbuckle. The Little Mix singer fails to escape the precarious position and gets glued to the spot with Amber picking her off up the middle thereafter to stun the Newcastle crowd come the bell.

Round 2:
Another quick jump from Perrie allows her to stick a couple of good shots into the brunette's face but Amber responds with a wild series over the top that misses the target... Edwards barks in delight and steps into a nasty uppercut on the jaw that drops Gill on her heels and leaves her reeling for safety thereafter. Perrie gets aggressive with her attacks and pounds the suddenly subdued opponent back to the ropes where she snaps her head back with a slugging push before Amber clinches her into a stalemate. Both girls wrestle for supremacy and clash heads which allows Amber to escape the trouble... not for long though as Perrie laces her with a seemingly wayward hook and drops another left/right combo that tears a small gash under the left eye. Amber scowls in anger but runs out of time to find the response and the ref pulls her away at the bell with Perrie blowing everyone a kiss for a good measure.

Round 3:
More trigger-happy swinging early in the third as both women really try to punish each other hard even though the precision simply goes away. Perrie lands a couple of quick hooks on the jaw before Amber clobbers her in the guts alas a clash of heads leads into a lenghty clinching struggle on the ropes. Amber decides she really wants to plug the singer in the navel and works her way into a superior position but Perrie reaches out to land more leather on the gash under the left eye which makes the brunette think better off it down the stretch. Amber shoves Perrie onto the ropes but misfires on the head-hunting effort and eats another vicious combo on each temple that forces her into a speedy retreat in the closing stages of the round.

Round 4:
Amber smacks a nasty combo into Perrie's face but quickly decides to punish her midsection while the blonde struggles to find her balance. Before she does, Amber pummels her onto the ropes and rips more clean hits downstairs but eats an overhand response that allows Edwards to work on that gash under the eye. Gill refuses to back off this time and folds the older girl in half before busting her on the breasts. Perrie throws a hectic jabbing series trying to overwhelm her foe but Amber blows into her face again and lands a vicious double on the nose that wobbles the singer back on the ropes. Perrie cannot escape another jabbing rush and has to clinch the brunette to limit the damage.

Round 5:
Jade Thirlwall urges her bandmate to continue on the slugging charge but Amber responds with another gut-checking drive and laces a harpoon on the liver area to throw the singer off balance. Perrie swings from the back foot alas that effort goes nowhere and Amber drills another hook on the nose that makes the older girl shriek out in pain on the spot. Edwards trips over her own feet in avoidance and drops her mitts just so Gill NAILS her on the nose again. Perrie stumbles back to the ropes with a whimper and just as she tries to deke away to the right, Amber lands another brutal shot on the nose that results in blood spillage. Uh-oh!!! Perrie wobbles forward with a loud whimper and fails to react when the brunette drives an uppercut on her chin moments later... BLONDE GIRL DOWN!!! Perrie collapses on her backside and rests her head against the ropes while Jade Thirlwall screams out in agony: "Get up! Get up!". Amber twerks some booty in the center of the ring but she knows how powerful that last uppercut was! And Perrie just can't recover here with more blood seeping from the wounded nostrils as well. It's all over!!! KO5 Amber Gill who claims the first Tyneside scalp!!!

AFTER: "U bytch!!! Just wait until I knock you the hell OUT!!!", Jade wants to enter the ring but the referee tells her to stay away. The crowd wants another fight on the rebound yet Amber waves off the gauntlet... for now! "How about them? New girl is suddenly the real deal! Told ya I'm a winner!!! This blonde tramp couldn't handle me and Jade will get her ass kicked too. Just wait your turn, pet!" Tyneside feud to be continued!!!
