Jenny Frost vs Jessica Michibata
(Double A Boxing vs BBU Independent)
(4-19, 4 KO vs 5-6, 5 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago

BEFORE: Former Atomic Kitten singer Jenny Frost is basically semi-retired these days but she gives it another try in her Merseyside backyard and the choice of opponent contributed to her decision as Jessica Michibata's career has completely stalled following back-to-back beatdowns versus Rochelle Humes and Sayuki Matsumoto back in 2019. BBU TV's Kate Abdo claims this might be the last opportunity for the Japanese model to revive her career and if she loses to Frost then all options should be on the table - including retirement!

Jenny Frost wears a black bikini set & red gloves. Long dark blonde hair tied in a sleek ponytail. Jessica Michibata wears a white bikini set & blue gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the lightweight division.

Round 1:
Jessica feels she needs to take it to the local favorite and lands several crisp punches into the blonde's face; Jenny doesn't look sharp here at all and leaks more strikes down the stretch while the Japanese model maintains the head-hunting attack however she lacks the power supply to break the singer down. Jenny responds with a couple of body shots but struggles to embrace the brunette's charge and runs out of space before too long. She gets backed into the ropes where Michibata keeps blasting her up the middle before a looping hook on the temple bends Frost to the side. Jessica drops a low shot on the navel and leaves the older woman gasping for air at the bell.

Round 2:
Jenny fires back over the top and lands several good punches into the model's face who didn't quite expect such a recovery from the Mersey woman. The blonde's attack as largely chaotic but she keeps Michibata weaving around on her toes and lands several single punches to give the Liverpool audience something to scribble on. However Jessica eventally neutralizes the one-dimensional flow and delivers the biggest punch of the round which nails Frost on the chin and wobbles her backwards. There's no immediate follow up though as Jenny clinches the brunette and both women wrestle for supremacy in fruitless fashion along the ropes thereafter.

Round 3:
Jenny lands a quick bomb on the nose and catches the model off guard with a harpoon on the navel that maybe goes below the waistline but Jessica would never get that call in Liverpool anyway! She gets stuck on her heels and struggles to match the singer's point-blank range assault that allows her to drop the model onto the ropes come the one-minute mark. Both women jump into a hectic back & forth dispute where Frost holds her own and stuffs Michibata when she clips her jugs and settles down to punish the breadbasket come the final minute. Jessica has to clinch the local favorite and gives the Double A entourage a lenghty stare after the bell.

Rounds 4 & 5:
Jessica jumps into a hectic head-hunting pursuit and lands several single punches along the way but just can't find that one haymaker to break the blonde's resistance. That was usually the easy part when facing Jenny over the years since her glass jaw has build a solid reputation indeed alas Michibata has to settle for artistic impression and almost gets into real trouble when Frost stuns her with a late combo on the temples late in the fourth. More of the same in the fifth, Jessica dominates the round by the numbers but runs into a counter-punching double at the two-minute mark and gets pummelled onto the corner where Jenny tries to steal the late highlights and pounds away at the rack to sink the Japanese model into loud spasms at the bell. Huh! Cue in another lenghty stare from the brunette who shakes her head in visible frustration while walking back to her corner.

Round 6:
Jessica lands the big punch and tears a small gash under Jenny'e left eye but then gets clipped on the jaw herself and makes an ill-timed decision to swing from the back foot which Frost counters by blowing a right hand into her boobs! Uh-oh! Jessica cries out in pain and takes her eye off the ball as Jenny NAILS her with a nasty uppercut on the slumped chin. Jessica rolls down the curtains and trips back to the ropes where she tries to swing back at the singer only for Jenny to SMOKE her with a vicious hook on the ear that DROPS MICHIBATA FOR THE COUNT amid a wild ovation from the Scouser fans!!! How about that one? Jenny can hardly believe her luck but she really put the hammer blow as Jessica remains down on her side until the count reaches six and the subsquent recovery falls short of the mark. She's still down on one knee when the ref shouts "TEN!!" into her face and there's no second chance on the rebound!!! KO6 Jenny Frost in a mild-upset fashion!!!

AFTER: Jessica is stunned she just couldn't beat the count and leaves for the exit door few seconds later unable to face all the joy from the Double A corner. Some BBU pundits claimed Jenny will never win another boxing again fight but she just did and officially denies rumours about her retirement. Watch her move into BBU 'November Rain' PPV duty later this month already! The same can't be said about tonight's loser but Kate Abdo can only speculate where Michibata goes from here. Settling down as Sayuki Matsumoto's sparring partner might be a viable option?

Official Result: Jenny Frost def. Jessica Michibata KO6.
